I’m a huge fan of Westin bloodworms and their Stickleback range, huge Perch finders up in the Mids where I fish. Great video as normal mucka you should take a trip up to Mids brilliant Perch fishing less wasps more Sargents.
Great video 👍. Bought myself a rod and a few soft baits, once the flooded river has gone down a bit I’ll be out, thanks for the info on the knot and the weight just pinching in the loop, had no idea about that.
Great video very educational and professionaly done well explained even the dumbest of us can understand you brilliant educational dropshoting video. Shout out from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
Fantastic idea with the tungsten weight. Started dropshotting, but got bogged down nedding/jigging. Must go down local cut and drop shot more. Another great informative vid. Cheers.
Jordan Cain - Top man. The fishing has been tricky so it means a lot that you guys still enjoy the videos even though it’s not stuffed with big fish! Thanks again. It’s really appreciated. 🙏
I’m on my way to Norfolk broads area in a few weeks time and I’m gonna try this around the boatyards etc I’ve got the rod a 1000 reel lures I’m ready !!!!
Outstanding video buddy, that really is a masterclass for dropshotting. You covered absolutely every aspect impeccably, if anyone ever asks me about dropshotting, I will just send them a link to this video. It's definitely one of, if not the best video on this method for UK angling. Great job fella. Hope you have a great week and tight lines, best wishes and stay safe and well to you and your family buddy
Brilliant video mate i love a bit of light lure fishing for perch some nice lures there i really like the look of those new creature baits i bought the squirms u were using for ned rigs in your earlier videos i really rate them cheers and tight lines
addicted to angling - the Squirmz are amazing lures. The Reggiez are made of the same stuff so I reckon they’re gonna be equally as awesome. Thanks for the kind comments! 👍👍👍
Just found and subscribed, what a great channel👍 thanks for sharing your knowledge, I’ve been general coarse fishing since I was a boy but watching your videos has given me a new direction to my fishing and lure fishing is the way to go for me. Thanks 🙏
Cracking instructional vid nick , watching your perch vids in the past got me HOOKED . I watch every one and enjoy them. Dusting the perch rods off very soon .
What a great vid , so well explained, off to the Severn today nr Shrewsbury , Pike and I am going to try Drop shotting for the Perch.Super vid , liked n subbed.
Really good video, thanks. It's great to see a good mix between informative, instructive narrative and actual fishing - demonstrating theory in practice. I've been thinking about a taking a few drop-shot sessions on local rivers but I've never done it before so this is exactly the content that I needed.
@@Lifeonthebank No! Not long after posting this comment the river near me was closed, and now I've moved to a new area with entirely different waters... trout streams!
@@Lifeonthebank I'm new here, but in the few weeks that I've been here I've discovered trout in streams and mountain top lakes, sea trout and salmon in the rivers, an estuary teaming with sizeable mullet, and plenty of bass.
Nice video. Some new interesting things i´ve learned that will defenetly work here in Sweden aswell. I will definitely try the wacky rigged worm on dropshot. Who would have thought of that :D. Cheers!
Sorry... I'm a bit late to the party on this one. Couple years old. Great video. Great tips..... Do you mind me asking... What do you do during closed season? I fish the Mole in Surrey and I'm not a big fan of carp fishing... Any tips on where to go or what type of fishing on a lake?
Hi Nick. I find that a traditional paternioster knot works better for presentation. You can leave it proud of the mainline if you want. How's the fishing near you? Haven't caught anything for weeks up here!
Well done very informative. I have been fishing since a child but lure fishing is new to me, its a new discipline to learn, especially during this pandemic. With regards to Perch becoming less active as it gets colder, is there a water temp 'rule of thumb' to use for the change from Creature baits to Ned rigs? many thanks
I tend to fish slow. You can do this with both creature baits and neds. The main thing is that you slow down. They’re just not chasing like they do in the milder weather. I do like a Ned Rig as the lure is bouyant and it sit up proud which I’m sure triggers extra bites! Good luck!!! 👍
This video is super helpful i didnt understand how to tie the rig properly. Are you fishing a river in the video? i have mainly fished the Grand Union Canal, but have had no luck for perch at all
Hi Nick, really enjoyed the video. I’ve been doing more on the Ned really but I’ve got a dropshot rod setup, I’ll have to use it a bit more.👍 Where do you get the little tungsten hook waits from though please?
Great vid,am very new to lure fishing & want to give it a go, Impressed with the 'Ned rig' can u use it effectively on medium flowing rivers seeing as you have to let it rest on the bottom & tighten up to it?🤔
Not into dropshot but i still enjoyed the video nick It's a real pity korum customer service It's absolutely appalling for a top company which is part of preston innovations, i will never buy a korum product ever again shocking company, para
I've now watched all 4 of your videos and want to start by saying what a cracking mini series and wow some amazing perch. One thing I'd like to see being a big or a novice is what rig you would use in different situations for example snags, rivers, lakes, deep water, shallow water etc etc.
Thanks, really appreciate the feedback 🙏 maybe check out the full Perch plalylist - ruclips.net/p/PLWUkhjUQ3cVfIoTwqY-WjW-uOVVrChMDn 👍👍👍 more on their way!!!👍🎥
