There's been so much focus on Celestials lately that it's really great to see what the original 2 factions look like now. Honestly, the introduction of the Hexen and removing infest from Gaunts opened up Infernal build openings so much.
looks like infernals would benefit from a unit or two that's able to chase and punish. Maybe the gaunt could become that unit. Either way, the game just gets better and better
Gaunts do benefit from an upgrade that gives them a ms buff, but they do so little damage that it doesn't really give you that chase potential. I think the play is to be more active with harbingers - but they're pretty ore expensive
@@BeoMulf Maybe if they buffed the gaunt damage in some way, like making it do extra damage to units that have already lost a lot of health. No point being able to move something around quickly if it can't do anything.

In fairness, I'm casting over a recorded video file that wasn't at super high bit rate, so it's not as good as if I was in game myself. If you're talking about art style, I'm hopeful that the lighting polishes they talked about during the AMA yesterday will go a long way
lol it looks like a game from 20 years ago, literally. What on earth was the art team thinking. They probably spent hte least amount of time thinking about graphics. That's a huge important thing in any RTS.
@@alexfriedman2152 it isnt though... RTS should focus on balanced gameplay and UI in my opinion. Fancy graphics is useless if the game sucks, unfortunately a lot of great games get overlooked because they dont look pretty. That being said, Celestials need a nerf... :D
@@iceweasel2199 I mean it doesn't need to be perfect high tech graphics, but it can't be an eye sore. If you can berely see anything and it's all bright and fuzzy it's horrible for game play. Also if it's pleasing to the eyes you're more likely to binge watch games. I mean this is literally a 2/10 in graphics, a 4/10 in game play, and a 5/10 in concept. Hopefully the single player is epic.

Brutes are clearly the most useless units in the game at the moment .. but hey, its all new, adaptations will happen. Cant wait to play!
Ngl, infernal units seem to be the worst faction so far
This test - infernals were the strongest in Elephant and probably a bit over nerfed for Frigate
by far... I was planing on making them my main faction but damn.... its like they have paper weapons
