Went out with the guys from @JohnnyJigsTV to do some vertical jigging offshore. We did a mixture of high speed and slow pitch jigging. We caught a variety of different species including amberjack , tuna, grouper and others!

Can you start uploading some more. It has been along time before you uploaded.
Is that broccoli rabe?
You lost me when you put that worm in you body
Amberjack worm. Parasites aint cool, but apparently they aren't a threat to humans.
@@simplyengineering2350 just a mental thing.
I have been watching your videos now for about a year. I'm a 58 year old mostly pier fisherman. I don't have access to a boat. I have learned so much watching you. Everything from catching bait to how to tie better knots. Catching species I don't normally see at the pier. Keep up the great videos. Thank you !!!
I grew up fishing deerfield fishing pier and some of my best memories are from that pier. Thank you for watching
Johnny Steadman said I should watch what you did with this fish ... not only are you a good fisherman, you really know how to make a beautiful dish that looked so delicious
I love Johnny Jigs. I found their channel 2 years ago when I was researching what I should bring on a Yankee Capts trip. I had never slow pitched before. I watched all their videos and pretty much slow pitch jigged the entire time on the Yankee Capts and am still hooked on slow pitch jigging. I do it all the time on my own boat out of Ft. Myers where I live.
Good dudes right there!
Fort myers Beach is good fishing :)
mann you’re my favorite youtuber in florida keep up all the great work you’re doing! i’m glad you do all these amazing recipes and fishing videos i love them all i always get so excited when you post a video lol
Johnny jigs are my go to jigs love your channels its awesome you guys got together
I so love your videos. I suffer from PTSD and when ever you post a new video, I am so thankful. I live WAY up in Wyoming...and your Florida videos just makes my day.
Great video Vik, as usual, I can't believe you ate that worm! Everything looked delicious! Remain blessed and keep the video's coming ☝
Thank uou
Heck yea! Love the collab. I love how you jump on the boat with Johnny Jigs and throw on a mustad Jig LOL! Ruthless
Welcome back brother. I've been waiting for a new video to drop!
January is a slow time for fishing, but we got some really cool trips in the works this year! Thanks for watching
Never jigged before. I am heading down to the Keys next week and going to give it a shot.
My wife has a recipe very similar to the one you used. She paired hers with mutton snapper and it was the best fish I have ever eaten.
Another great video 👍
Thanks VIck. I love almacos and amberjack. Always there to provide fun and food. The big ones are hateful when you are targeting other fish but the hate doesn't go far. I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for them. And... I think the worms are beneficial to the fish.. Keeps most people from wanting to eat them.
Great fighters and great table fare
That looks delicious...Not the worms..lol..Great video..Had a absolute blast fishing with you guys.
Excited for the next trip!
Vick, your cooking is always great. For all the fish you catch, you should make your own seafood stock with the leftover carcass. It's amazing how much that can up your sauce game. Great video, again. Thanks!
Your absolutely right!
I'm just waiting for the restaurant opening.
@@LandsharkOutdoors - 2 rules: 1) mis en plas, and 2) make your own stock.
Vic.. Fantastic video. Great to see Ryan there too..
See Ryan had disappeared when it
comes to eating spaghetti worms 🤣 .. Ryan I would be gone too. 👍
Wishing you both Vic and Ryan the very best. And most importantly Vic's future wife Brook shooting the video.
Thank you for watching!
I love your cooking videos, if you ever make a cookbook I will definitely be buying it!
Thank you!
Did the worms inspire you to make a spaghetti dish? 😄 been loving trying those recipes at home. I think you should write a recipe book 🤔
Cool man! Jack’s are one of my favorite fish to smoke. I’ve never worried about the worms, they’ll probably taste like the fish lol! Great video!
Nice dish Victor. I am always open to new food and good to know those worms are no big deal.
Glad to see you back. I know January can be tough fishing but a crappie or catfish video might take up a little slack
Dude, you are NUTS for swallowing it raw - BADASS I got sushi knives from your discount. Thanks man!
My third time now lol
Video quality is spot on! thanks
So happy your video video up in recommended
Another great video ..love and respect from the Caribbean 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Thank you!
Love your channel Vic! Tight lines 🤙🏼
Thank you
Nice job...pick em out (or don't) and eat em any way. Lots of commonly fished species have worms, speckled trout for one (they cook up like your jack). Red grouper get some kind of bugs but they are easy to see and easily removed if they bother you. The most I have ever found in a red grouper was five (near the dorsal fin).
Great guys at that store! I actually moved to Fort Lauderdale from TN after watching your videos and just got some slow pitch jigs from Johnny the other day!!
Awesome to hear
comfortable fishing trip🍻🍻🍻
What reel would you recommend for slow pitch jigging? I’ve been looking at the accurate 300 and 500n but wondering if there is one you would recommend over those. If not which one do you think would be best.
Love your videos. watch you all the time subscribed. Absolutely love the format catch and cook. It's Winter here in Ontario. Very interesting about the worms in fish. It doesn't seem to bother you. Can you elaborate more on how common this is And how the fish is OK to eat. Absolutely lovely couple doing what they like and it shows. Thanks
Look up spaghetti worms in fish, its a pretty interesting lifecycle actually,.
@@LandsharkOutdoors thank you I will. I live by RICE lake, it large, mostly bass etc. I've seen you and that young lady mostly fishing and diving and I love that format of catch and cook. Keep it up. It's minus 2 Fahrenheit right now. Nice to see your weather lol
Jonny Jigs RUclips is awesome
Agreed!
Great video like always, hope you can visit Loreto Baja Mex. We have great Fishing and flat calm water to snorkel
Gag.. the worm jacks are all yours
That looks really good. Have you ever used Paul Bocuse cookware? I'm sold.
Awesome show. Fish looked delicious..
With all the great meals you cook ,what cookware do you use?
Great video
Have not seen you in a while
thank you
Hey bud, enjoy your vids. Grew up in Boca and live up in jax now. Just getting into the slow pitch and speed jigging. Question, was that a 6k gosa and do you know which model of the Adrenalin? Thanks!
Nice day guys!!
Great content, can you make a slow pitch jig rod/reel setup recommendation in maybe in the moderate price range and upper price?
Caught a 5 lb Horse Eye Jack that was loaded with worms. Removed the worms and ate it with no issue. I've found them in snappers as well. Just cook and be merry!!
I was wondering when you were coming back, Lol 😂
GreT sauce. Add half cup coffee to make brown. It’s. Good. Thanks buddy Ricky 💃🕺🏼🎶🐈⬛🎸🎣
Wanting to go on a one day fishing trip with my dad in April. Any recommendations?? I live closer to Tampa
Hey Vick, do you guys not have a problem with ciguatera in AJ’s in Florida? Where I live it’s another main reason people don’t eat them here other than the worms.
dude you did not just eat that. mad respect bro. ill be eating more of those AJs now when they open up on the west coast
Hahaha thank you
Welcome back Vic !!!
Thanks Gary!
Dude I can't freaking believe you ate an AJ worm.
Good time on the 💧 water I like your ads🌝🌝🐠🐡🐟🐅🐳🐊🦈🐋
Thank you
I went to McNab elementary in Pompano, back in about 1969
I really love the feeling of excitement of fishing everytime i watch your videos although i'm on the other side of the world which is Philippines and i can't afford that luxury, can i have one of your tackle? HEHE
Worms are awesome 🙌 added protein
This is great 👍
Hola amigo you are the best chingonn, cuestion what type of rod you use for jigging
What kind of reels was the one guy using? Looked like one had a level wind and the shape was pretty unique, never seen any reels like that before.
That reel was a Jigging Master wiki violent 2000 the rod room in West Palm Beach sells them. Amazing reels.
Ok, now THAT I didn't see coming lol.
Hey vic quik question bud , I want to start recording fishing clips , could you direct me to a good water resistant camera , thank you in advance
Are the rods lighter then shimano trevella jigging rod ? my prob is I think im using to big of reel im in tarpon springs , fl def a lot diff fishing over here on this coast and I can’t last all day slow jigging especially as female angler .. what’s the best for ur money and lightest reel you recommend Vic ? im only in 60ft or less and I love jigging as well, but unlike u and Brooke I’m exhausted by time 30 mins goes by …
We gotta collab soon 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Let’s do it on the 39 Seavee
I'm game
Great video. Going to try the LMNT.
Try it, Brook and I just got done with a bike ride while sipping on it. I love the stuff, great for hangovers too haha
@@LandsharkOutdoors good to know🤪
Definitely looked good!
Thank you!
Totally not related to fishing question lol, what color is your kitchen painted with?
Hey Landshark! What rig is that called at 8:37 with the metal wire? Hard to find ty
Man the fish look so good 👍💯🔥 good job Vic im pretty sure I ate worms already lol 😂 ate so much different fish but most fried so who knows 🤷♂️
What you don’t know won’t kill you lol
We love fishing and we try To lean from you
Btw: worms in fish are usually harmless cause your stomach acid kills them, BUT when you take acid blockers too then it can get dangerous, not gonna kill you but no fun, that's for sure! So just remember to not eat raw, unfrozen fish and acid blockers at the same time
thanks for the heads up haha
I use watermelon salt for wrestling. Keeps me going 🤘🏽
he's eating the worms and not flinching but he'll be damned I guess if he doesn't take out the bones in the meat LOL
What kind of rods you guys are using
Brook 😂😂oh my gosh I can’t wait to eat worms
Nice looking dish.
Thank you
Good god that looks delicious 🤤
Love watching slow pitch.... one of these days. Only thing to really jig for in the NE is seabass.
My kids like You’re fishing Channel
Great video, next time sautee the worms! Thanks for taking one for the team by eating the worm lol.
Hahahahaha
@@LandsharkOutdoors no worms for me thanks lmao!!
Love slow pitch jigging, but the tackle is so dang expensive!
It is but if you take into account never having to buy bait it’s prolly very equivalent
@@LandsharkOutdoors Just checked out Mustads line of jigs, they are a lot more reasonable!👍 Will be buying some of those.
@@gradybrowning3976 Don't forget use my code landshark to save some money
Hey what were some of the most successful jigs used in this trip? Would like to purchase some to try on the 180 reef. Thanks!
Mustad staggerbod, rip roller for the slow pitch. Moonrises for the high speed. Use code landshark at mustad-fishing.com to save 20% off
@@LandsharkOutdoors thank you and keep up the great content 👍
@@LandsharkOutdoors what size would I get for 180 oculina bank fishing. I have no clue?
👍😎🤙👏👏👏 Good fishing 🎣 🐠🐟
Thanks for watching Marko
@@LandsharkOutdoors Always a pleasure Bro!
16:52 😮
Those worms are most likely Anisakis parasite, which though safe to consume after proper cooking, should definitely not be consumed raw as they can mature and lay eggs inside your stomach and intestinal system. I am a certified food safety instructor. It's the reason sushi should be made from "sushi grade fish" and not just any fish that is caught by the average person.
Retired Federal inspector here as well. The Anisakis worm is indeed a bad worm to eat but these worms are Eupolymnia crassicornis which are not harmful to humans. But.....Yuck!
@@kendaldvm Thanks for that clarification Mr. Lopez.
Good vidio my friend
Cool dude 👍
Damn Vic you didn’t have to eat the worm to prove your point now skin is crawling
Just added protein 😁
once again showing people that there no such thing as a trash fish!!!! things are great eating.
Thanks brodaaa
@@LandsharkOutdoors
No problem, we getting new shirts this year? 👀👀👀
Funny when you say porgie cause over here a porgie is a porbeagle shark, a smaller relative and lookalike of the great white...
And a very tasty shark too!
Jonesin for a 3 horseman vid.
I need rod like this
Wow...
Have you ever made Beer Batter deep fried fish?
All the time
I just can't get past the worms. The sauce looked amazing.
I get it, its not appetizing, but its purely cosmetic
Missed u guys where u been?
Just took a break to focus on family, the house, and the fishing in January is just not very good either
Xin chào, chúc các bạn đi câu vui vẻ, không bị móm
Love the video though
Whats the grouper rig called? 8:24
"EBING" rig and it's mainly for tuna, but catches everything.
👍👍👍
do a show with Gabe Vic
What size was tims saltist mq?
I'm not sure, but I know he really likes the reel. I would get a Saragosa over an MQ
@@LandsharkOutdoors the saragosa is nice and no doubt kills it but im a big daiwa fan and picked up a Saltist MQ 10K myself. Was curious to see how he had it lined up.
This is Tim, it was a 10k on that set up. Both the Saltist MQ and Saragossa are great reels. I have a lighter high speed set up with a 5K saltist MQ.
@@33chingo nice! How heavy do you fish the 10K? For vertical jigging and casting jigs if you have run it for that yet.
@@natebeefy I have the 10k spooled up with 30lb Daiwa J Braid X8 with a PR knot to 80lb Diamond presentation mono leader.
Do almond coated almaco
It's got a ring to it for sure
Se ve delicioso eso
