What I like about this technique is, if I understand clearly, you can have only one set of manipulations/layers but it will be applied to different types of documents. Most of the solutions I had seen up to now were assuming that you were redoing all the editing for each type of document. This is what I needed as I always export the same image to multiple social medias! Once again, I have to thank you!
Getting a second screen like Lightroom has made this vid worth it. Thanks again mate. I now click on your vids even when I think I know the subject well. I always find some wow factor.
You are a great Photoshop tutor and an inspiration to individuals who wants to learn, you're very different from the other channels and explains everything thoroughly. Giving real life examples and usage is a plus. I would love to see you do a video about photo composites.
This is so helpful! :D I usually post my images just in fb or instagram but I had never thought that :"D I really learned a lot from this tutorial, thank you for sharing it ;)
I have an older version and when you go to Window > arrange > from there you choose TILE. I hope this helps someone. :-) Great tutorial and I can see where this two window setup can be useful in many editing situations.
Hey.....do u have any suggestions for resizing a Snapchat photo to upload to Instagram/fb as a profile pic? What steps should I take without having to crop it? I don’t like the white borders either. I use this app called peachy to stretch the photo horizontally to try to get more space so I don’t have to crop it as much but, i have no idea what I’m doing. I have an app called image Resizer where u can enter ur ratios and I usually put 1080x1350 but, I’m trying to upload a profile pic for both IG and FB. Should I do it separately? There’s an option for ig where u can you link ur IG and FB together so if U upload a pic to Instagram u can also upload it to fb at the same time. So usually, I will set my fb posts to “only me” for audience so when the post gets posted on my fb from the ig post it doesn’t get double posted and I just “set photo as profile pic.” Then delete the other post. Which in turn, only has one photo on my timeline rather than 2 and then, I avoid having to deal with split comments/likes etc. (sorry if I’m not making any sense) but, idk 2x3 ratio looks like the pic doesn’t get cropped as much. It looks bigger. Either way, this has something that has confused me for soooo long. And because Snapchat photos are much more longer in size, it’s hard to resize it where it doesn’t get cropped off as much ya kno? Please help. I’m desperate. I don’t want to have to crop the pic if I don’t have to. Of course, if I have to crop it....I want to minimize as much as possible and not have the platforms downsize/compress it and have the quality come out like shit. (I’m on iOS) When u choose the ratio- 2x3 what does that equal to? It seems like when u choose that size it doesn’t crop the photo as much. But, will ig/fb allow u to upload 2x3 without compressing/cropping it? Seems like 2x3 is bigger than 4x5 but, from watching numerous videos I am under the impression that 4x5 is the best size to upload to get the most real estate. But, does that equal to 1080x1350? To get the maximum amount of photo/quality, if I am cropping through an app..does it matter if I choose the 4x5???? what is the difference between cropping the ratio to 4x5 versus resizing entering the dimension “1080x1350?” (Sorry if I’m confusing you. Clearly, I confuse myself 🤦🏻♀️ lol) Also, for the options in Lightroom you can export a photo format as “Original, JPG, TIF, DNG.” Which is the best format to pick for uploading to social media platforms?? There’s this app I just downloaded called “Remini” which allows u to get higher quality for ur photos. Not sure what I’m doing but, I tried it and it looked like it really did make the photo look like such better quality but, as far as the other questions, I would really appreciate it if u could get back to me. Sorry if I’m confusing U. I have ADHD, so I’m all over the place. I just need some clarification. Hopefully, u answer me back!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you very much Unmesh!!! Like you almost every time I've looking your videos. Can't find where did you say about ctrl+shift+" and layers saving. There was mountains and waterfall on picture.
Hello. I noticed that you created a new layer and then created the copy merged layer into it. Is there a difference doing it this way compared to just shift+alt+command+E? Thank you.
I am having issues with colours matching between photoshop and lightroom. Both programmes are set to the same colour profiles (SRGB, I have also tried prophoto). It is not a consistent problem. It seems to happen more often when I have edited colours in lightroom. For example I will edit an image to a point I am happy; including hue saturation etc in lightroom then edit in photoshop. When it opens the colours ars MASSIVELY oversaturated and contrast can be different too (probably affected by brightness of the colouts). I am struggling to find any advice online so any help is appreciated! It is NOT the colour profile, they are the SAME in both programmes! 😭
Hi Unmesh, When you refer to other video links - saying check out the links right here, the link of that video does not appear. Not sure , its just me. Please check.

Hi umesh @piximperfect, I m a big fan for videos....I have always been using the save for web, Just wanted to ask what's difference between "export as" and "save for web", , why photoshop has labeled it as legacy!
I think they are similar, but "export as" is the new way to export. Also, if you want to export multiple elements at the same time, you can select all your layers and choose "export as" to export them all individually in one go.
sir mera photoshop m agar blacck & white photo choose kate h to fir usme hue work nahi karta h or na hi koi alag color use kar sakte h please tell me how to solve this problem please
