The overall effect in these videos is ALWAYS valuable, but it's the little tips and tricks along the way that teach me the most. I've learned so much from you and my skills have increased exponentially. Thank you for all that you do!
Unmesh! First of all...Thank you!. Ive been retouching since PS was invented. And still being able to learn is a joy. Using the Camera Raw like this is fantastic!
jam packed with great tips. i've been using lightroom for years and there were several things i didn't know. granted most of them are newer than when i played with the app. but thx. great vid.
Unmesh, can you please make an in-depth compositing tutorial. Please? I know we have already but I wanna see one in which you use latest tools to composite.
Hey Unmesh! I have a question! Maybe you’ve done a video on it already or have an updated answer but what would you say is the best way to get the color of your images to look as similar as possible on laptop and mobile. It’s so disheartening getting the perfect colors on my MacBook then seeing something completely different on my iPhone. If they can’t look the same, is it best to get the perfect colors on laptop or mobile?
From my experience, it is usually the computer that displays colors… uniquely. Phone displays are fairly universal and accurate. Whenever colors have posed an issue for me during commissions, it’s ALWAYS been the computer. I’d like to hear from the master himself! But I thought I’d offer my opinion from over a decade of Photoshop
Do you use a consistent color space (RGB, sRGB, etc - sometimes also called a color profile) across all your devices and - if you process your images - in the post-processing products you use (did you set the Prefs to that preferred color space)? Do you calibrate your computer with a calibration device? Ditto if you print, do you calibrate the printer?
Here's what I think of it, and this is from my experience. You can go through a dozen color calibration tools, the best monitors, and try applying various color profiles and other settings... BUT, the truth is, it is ALWAYS going to be different, not only with different displays, but also sometimes with different programs that display it. Apart from making sure that your images are exported properly in sRGB and YOUR monitor is color calibrated (which most Macs are awesome at), there isn't much we can do. For instance, I edited this very video on Premiere, it looks different when played in VLC, vs Quicktime, vs RUclips, and guess what, it's on the SAME DISPLAY! Switch to another display and it's an entirely different story. So I have to edit the stuff keeping in mind that even if there are little shifts in color and contrast, it wouldn't look bad. It just helps having your display calibrated and at the center of those shifts. And of course, each screen, device, and display tech is different, they WILL display it slightly differently. Besides, you have no control over how others set up their display and their color settings.
Great video. Question: In the color mixer section, when you say "select this tool, it makes it super simple" and then you show the two dots adjustment -- where is that tool in Lightroom? Does it exist there? Or is it for Camera Raw only. Thanks!
Impressive result. Just one thing, when you show the before & after, having the image bob up and down in the video was probably not conducive to showing the image. Even the animated background was really distracting at that moment. But otherwise it was another great video. Learned a couple new tricks in the Camera Raw dialog.
When I use a camera raw filter.. after that I use remove pimples.. then want to smooth skin again on camera raw filter. Not applying.. why? please help me 🙏😢
Unmesh, i appreciate every video you make, but i have a question that may help others with the same issue. Managing color profiles for pinting. What can you tell us about that? I own an Epson printer, and a Canon M50 camera, when i use Lightroom and export the files to Photoshop, they have a P3 profile, i already changed the profile on Lightroom to export it directly to Adobe RGB 1998, but the colors don't pop as well as in P3 on my IPS monitor, and when i want to print a photo, i just can't get the colors to look any similar to what i see on the screen, either if i let the printer or Photoshop mamage the colors. How do you do?
Dear Unmesh, Thank you so much for the great video. However, I have a question to ask about: Why don't you make a video about turning a photo into a painterly fine art such as photos made by Nikki Harrison?? I'm sure there are thousands of people who will appreciate that.

whnever you do curves or something , you say to click on the point where the colours are neutral, or grey. I don't understand what that means at all. What do you mean by that. Why was white neutral here. Use some other sample images also and explain.
The absolute BEST tutorial site on RUclips. Clear, simple to follow guidance. Thank you so much Unmesh!

Bro, you're teaching is beyond phenomenal! I don't even do a lot of commenting but you deserve it! Thank you.
Man, you’re always teaching me something new. 🤯
Unmesh! First of all...Thank you!. Ive been retouching since PS was invented. And still being able to learn is a joy. Using the Camera Raw like this is fantastic!
This is the tutorial I've been looking. Thank you!
The “look away” tip is one that is so easy to overlook, especially if you’ve been doing this long enough to think you know what you are doing.
This man is too good. 🔥🔥

When you changed the background saturation "Oh my gosh! This is looking so good!" Even surprising yourself.
You are amaaazing
Great one as always.. I was hoping you could make a tutorial for real estate photography post processing. HDR and flambient.

I'm wondering in the case of High Pass (or High Frequency), what is the difference between Overlay and Linear Light and which one should I use?
