What I like Aaron is that you give plenty of examples of the 'use cases' of these PHOTOSHOP improvements - your imagination gives ours a leg up!
Thanks Aaron - great tutorial, as usual.
Nice demonstration of the new gradient tool! TYSM I phlearned something new today lol
Awesome, thanks!
Thanks for all your tips !
Really great! Thanks so much
Terrific video. Incredibly helpful.
Fantastic thanks Aaron .
Fantastic!
Wonderful !!!

Nice. Thank u💐
I have never thought to use blend modes on a gradient. That's why I continually view various videos to learn more about,or PHLEARN more, about Photoshop
Blending modes are a great option when using gradients 🤗 thanks for watching!
I want to purchase your yearly course plan, but the payment method is a problem, what can I do. Please

I always forget about the gradient tool in PS. Great post
👍 Thank you
Thanks
Second edit was like WHOA..!!!
a video about the different methods (perceptual and so on) would be great.
That's a great suggestion!
Gradients on steroids! FANTASTIC!
Whew, that was fast! Sorry, at 91 I tend to go slower, but that is fine, I will just watch it a few more times. Great info, been looking for something like this.

Hmmmm these are great tips! I can't see the controls the same way you do and I can't figure out why they aren't appearing...!
Hey there! make sure you have the same PS version. Also, go to Window > Workspace to make sure you're on the same workspace as the other person, or try resetting to the default ("Essentials").
Aaron Is it possible to turn a mask into a black and white image completely separate from whatever image it was created on. A few times I have thought a mask I was working on would create a fun image of its own but I have not found a way of turning a mask into an image. That's what I would like to learn next please...
Your tips are always so useful - thank you. One thing i am frustrated with is the sort preferences under the view tab in LR classic. I set it to "file" each time but it always reverts back to "capture time" next time I open the program. do you know of any way to make it stick permanently to "file"? Thanks.
Hey there! Lightroom remembers sorting preferences for individual collections. If you're in a collection where "Capture Time" is the default, it will override your general preference. Try sorting by "File" within the specific collection you're working in.
@phlearn thanks so much.
Hi Aaron! Thank you so much for this. Question: On my gradient tool the center control is missing and I don’t know how to get it back. When I click along the gradient nothing happens. Please help! Thank you
Hey there! you could try to reset the tool to see if that helps! Right-click on the Gradient Tool icon in the Toolbar. Select "Reset Tool."
@ thank you. It is working now.
I was hoping to see how to change the radial gradient from a circle to an oval shape
Hey there! After selecting the radial gradient, you can transform it into an oval shape by manipulating the gradient handles that appear on the gradient line.
Hi Aaron! Any word from Adobe on when they'll be fixing the gradient bug? For a few years, gradient hasn't been selecting the foreground color. It always defaults to black and doesn't let you use the X key to swap colors (foreground and background). Very annoying!
Hey there! We know the issue has been mentioned by others in the Adobe community and most likely by their development team knows as well. We would encourage you to reach out to them directly to have a specific timeline.
Me 15 minutes ago: Gradients, pfft, I know all about those.
Me now: OMG what? I had no idea!
There's always something new to learn 😉 thanks for watching!
I want to purchase your yearly course plan, but the payment method is a problem, could you receive usdt through any crypto exchange?
😂 grow up man. Use actual real world currency.
I’m not going to live long enough to get good at this! 😢
You got this! Takes a little practice. The more you do it the easier it will be!
@ I’m referring to learning PS in general. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
and boom😂
