God damn it why would they suggest this as the version to listen to 😩 the sound isn’t great in terms of sound mixing which you straight away picked up in regards to coreys vocals. Plus it wasn’t his strongest performance as he was ill. Should have checked out the studio version
Love this song and was briefly excited about this reaction until I saw that it wasn't the studio recording (the most interesting reactions, imo). Damn.
Live reactions can be cool but it does seem whenever someone requests Slipknot they always pick some of the worst performances. For example when someone requested Heretic Anthem they picked a more recent show. Why would anyone request heretic anthem and not request a show from the Iowa era to show it off being performed at its best during there peak ? Makes no sense to me
@@Themaskplague I get that, yeah. The observations about the performance are good. I guess I prefer studio recordings because I learn more about the songs I know and love, like chord progressions, time signatures, the mix, etc. That's the real strength / USP of this channel for me.
@@TerribleEnglish no I agree I think if it’s a first listen / reaction to a song then the studio version is always best to begin with because you get the best idea of how the song is meant to be plus you can focus purely on the song rather than the performance itself
@@Themaskplague Yeah, and when I listen to the songs now I notice and remember the things DH had pointed out in his reaction, ha ha - so you're making an indelible mark DH, if you're reading this! :)

Great but I just wish I could have heard the vocals more
I think Three Nil is a more interesting Slipknot song to review.
Yes man
I remember when they played this full gig on the radio...the full thing was like this. Could barely hear Corey 🤦
Absolutely correct about the mixing, totally ruined this performance 😭
I think a complex song from slipknot is sic or eyeless
By the way he had surgery on his throat at that time
He was sick during this or I think it wouldve been great
Why would you request this live version lol. There’s other live versions that are extremely good.
Seems like he can't hear himself. And an awfull recording, by the way.
A truly honest reaction.
Mate check band Host - will hit all the tingels.
Excuse me sir but this performance Corey was ill. You should have picked the other version
I didn't pick it, the requester picked this specific video for me to use.
@@THEDavidHeretic somehow picked the worst video possible
