It always amazed me how no one ever mentions how amazing Jim and Mick are at their craft? Jim has been writing some of the smoothest, flowy, and heavy af guitar in metal for over 20 years. He's a master performer as well. They all put their heart and soul into every show.
Some of the nastiest riffs and shredding I've ever heard! Definitely masters of their craft because damn they slay!

They individually design their own masks and base it off of their internal feelings. Another meaning behind it is they can be free behind the mask while performing.

I think in the old days they had to make their own masks, so they might not look as slick as todays, possibly someone else doing their masks ( I know someone did Cory's)
Yes. Back in the day, they made their own masks. Legend says Corey cut off his own dreds and integrated it into his first mask or so.
@@DeusExMachina0000000 exactly right, he did that on one of the first mask he had. Nowadays they all use the "base model" mask but they had a company that upgrade it from time to time or from Album to Album.
Idk if now they will keep the same pattern or change it every one or two song they will be releasing since they will be not working with the "music corporations" anymore.

Slipknot has been going downhill since All Hope Is Gone. The music gets more bland, and Corey's vocals get worse with each release.
