Our second, and last lap of Australia has reached the end of the road. We return to our lives back home and reflect on how lucky we are to have had this wonderful opportunity together, as a family of four. It really has changed our lives forever.

Knew the end was close didn’t think it would be the Sunday morning I was parked in Oldsmar Florida waiting to load up horses and head north, as it was around this time last year we had just settled into being home from our own Lap #3 that we were inspired to quickly do Lap #4! Spent all summer working and then Sunday mornings (in the USA)watching what you guys were up to during the week. Not having the year but only two months at a clip we somewhat carried on like we were making our own Sunday memories. Our memory reel would have this year included floods, fiery heat, Tassie cold, old friends and new ones a helicopter ride several ferry rides finally wild wombats a wild camel and we didn’t loose our deposit this time on the motorhome. We too found ourselves in close quarters at times emulating what must have at times made Winnie seem small? Cheers for the great videos and we look forward to our Lap #5 2026 maybe we will cross paths? Enjoy your home again. Keith and Joy 🇺🇸

We agree Twilight Beach in Esperance is fantastic. Flinders Ranges, Wilpena Pound and Mt Little Station- stunning. Kununurra WA really surprised us. Planned for 3 days, stayed 2 weeks. So many hidden gems out there (Moonta SA) and finding more about our country’s history as you travel.

We were in the Flinders Ranges November last year. Stunning beautiful part of the country. Travelling through the Flinders Ranges is like moving from one Albert Namatjira painting to the next.

what a great way to end the lap with a lovely montage,,we found you guys early last year and have been watching ever since with the occasional comment,,watching you guys and a couple of others really gave us the travelbug,,mid last year we made up our mind it was time to take the plunge and after being to quite a few caravan and camping shows over the past 5 years we narrowed the mobiles down to a couple then showed our disabled daughter and she liked the winnie Iluka as it gave us a little bit of privacy and our own bedroom each ,,,so we bought a 2019 model with some very handy mods already done,,we did a couple of long weekends and one week trips then 22 days over xmas and new year and w all came back wanting more,,so we too off for 30 days over march and now planning 6 weeks in mid june for our 30th anniversery to Queensland to escape melb winter,bbbrrr then it will be time to take the plunge and do the big lap,possibly taking off later this year or early next year,,you guys inspired us so much and we have really enjoyed your travels and tips,,,we bought one of those all day slow cooker thing and its great,thanks for that one ,,so thanks again for the inspiration and the time and effort that went into making all these videos for all of us ,, enjoy the rest and look forward to your next adventures,,,cheers

We ran 7.00R16 Haulmax ATT304 14 ply tyres, although they don't seem to be available anymore. They are as tough as nails!

@@campwinnietravellingaustralia Thanks for that. We currently have a 2021 Jayco RM 19 campervan, which might be a bit small for long term travelling. We've been looking at a 2018 cruisin exrental (an Avida make) at a camping show in Nambour (I'll have it up on our channel Friday) wtih about 210,000km and up to 5 yr warranty. It's a 6 berth with dry ensuite. Not sure about the mileage.

Our Winnie was fitted with 7.00R16 Haulmax ATT304 tyres. 14 ply. VERY tough
