The Nicean Creed is not scripture. Romans is. Paul in chapter 8 said we are heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ to all that God has. The Revelation clearly teaches that God makes us Kings. What is “all” 99%? God himself says He will make us Kings and commands us to be perfect (Matt 5.48). We cannot be made perfect whole complete without the blood of Christ. If God says He will make me a King and a Priest, that I am heir to all He has, I believe Him. Let no man glory in man, but let him glory in God. The problem with Walter Martin is he omits the Gospel of John where Chriat said "This is life eternal, to KNOW the the only true God AND Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent" Then when Christ was on the cross he cried out "My God, My God, Why hast thou forsaken me?" The book of Mormon is just additional scripture. The Lord himself referenced other scriptures in the Bible. Additional scriptures Are in the apocrypha. Additional scriptures are in the dead sea scrolls. The Lord will continue to reveal his word. He is coming back, as he said he would. Joseph Smith read James 1:5 and sought wisdom from God, since there were so many varying churches and opinions and creeds that it was impossible to determine the truth on his own. I'm so grateful that God spoke to him and brought forth the Book of Mormon so that we can have another witness of Christ's divinity and mission - not to contradict the Bible, but to complement and add clarity to the truths found in it.

The book of Mormon is just additional scripture. The Lord himself referenced other scriptures in the Bible. Additional scriptures Are in the apocrypha. Additional scriptures are in the dead sea scrolls. The Lord will continue to reveal his word. He is coming back, as he said he would. We would all do well to prepare for that day, rather than tare each other down.
