I would say morman Church is like the Catholic Church in the sense that it appears Christian to all those who know nothing of true Biblical Christianity
That is spot on!! They are deluded by their religious beliefs and rituals.
They cannot see the difference between true Christianity and Religion.
But the bible does say that God is sending out strong delusion. It makes me wonder, why are these people so caught up in this delusion. Perhaps its because their hearts truly arent for GOd.

@josephwingate4097 while I'm not a Catholic hater, I would probably point out the near worship of Mary, and the salvation through works issue. While I believe we worship the same Jesus unlike Mormons(which I once was) there is some error in Catholic doctrine that seen to not line up with Scripture IMHO.
For 50 years this church kept me in the dark because the temple rites are secret . The missionaries are teenagers who don't know the secret doctrine ..
What a crock! There is nothing secret in the temple. Its mostly quoted straight from the scriptures. If you study scripture then you would already be familiar with the truths presented in the temple, and the covenants that people make there... Same as the covenant that Abraham made with God. The rites of the temple go back all the way to Adam. They have been imitated by counterfit religions throughout the ages.
And the great thing about the temple is EVERYONE is invited. If you are willing to make and keep God's covenants, then you are welcome. People disqualify themselves either because of wickedness, pride, or blindness. But then again that is how true religion has been since the beginning of time. God requires a pure heart. Only you can keep yourself away from Gods house.
All of the missionaries go through the temple before their missions

Mormonism and biblical Christianity are polar opposites. We may use the same Chrisianese language but our definitions are different. For example, Jesus of mormonism is not the same Jesus of the Bible; here’s how. Mormonism teaches that Jesus was the first created spirit child, he’s our eldest brother the firstborn. Jesus of the Bible has always been God with the Father and Holy Spirt. He was not created. Mormonism teaches that Satan is Jesus’s brother. But how so if the Bible does not teach that and we know Satan was the most beautiful angel in heaven. So we know he was an angel and angels and human spirits are not the same. Here’s another, God the Father in mormonism is not the same God the father of the Bible. The Bible teaches there is one God, there’s none before Him and none after him. But Mormonism from JS history King Follett discourse teaches that God was once a man and achieved Godhood. Bible teaches God is sinless, he was never a man and he has always been God. Bible teaches God is spirit but mormonism teaches that God has a body of flesh and bones. So we see here clearly that God the Father and Jesus Christ of Mormonism is not the same God the Father and Jesus Christ of the Bible. You can only get to heaven and be saved by knowing the true God of the Bible, the true Jesus. Mormonism looks good, and the road says heaven but it’s a counterfeit and leads to hell. My prayer is that God pulls my Mormon friends and family out of the false religion and come to know the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and the only gospel that can save.
These are only two examples; there and hundreds more. And other doctrines unique to Mormonism like baptism for the dead have been created from only one passage, that is pulled out of context, and is spoken of in a negative light in the Bible. We should look at the Bible as a whole and to help us understand unclear passages.
It is usually easy for a christian to recognize distortions, counterfeits, misinterpretations because we are so familiar with the Bible. Those who get led away into false teachings usually don’t have a solid foundation or know their Bible well to recognize when Satan is leading them astray. Remember Satan is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing and can appear as an angel of light. We should compare and analyze everything under the light and lens of the Bible.
Ok, here we go. I wasn’t going to say anything until I read the last posts of the video about the quotes and comments. And I will tell you all right now. You may disagree with the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all you want. But this video is evil, and of the adversary and please let me explain before you get all defensive. Everyone is entitled to there opinions and beliefs. But what’s makes this so evil is the post that titles, "Have you prayed about the Book of Mormon". Look I would obviously suggest everyone to pray about it and to read it. But that’s not why I said this is evil. And in fact it has nothing to do with the opinions about the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has to do with this; if anyone, and I mean anyone suggests or tells you not to pray before you searching anything is of the devil. No one should ever suggest you not to pray for any reason. It’s always best to pray before you study scriptures so that way the Holy Spirit can guide you and direct you through the word and help you translate it in a way that Heavenly Father wants you to know. You should pray all the time, and develop that strong bond between you and your father and ask for guidance in your studies. I am thoroughly shocked to hear "Christian’s" preach in this manner. This isn’t the first time I have heard that either. I know that god answers our prayers, I know he guides us and directs us if we pray and ask for it. I know he helps us understand scriptures in ways we might not have understood it if we didn’t pray. I know that praying is more important then scripture itself because that’s us bonding with your Heavenly Father. Then use scriptures as a way for instructions and directions in life. Now do not use what I said for evil by thinking I do not find scriptures important. Because they are the most important books ever existed. However praying is just more important. And I testify this to you, and leave it with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

To clarify. The Mormons who did this acted on their own. Brigham Young did not know about the event until after it occurred. This is another event that enemies of the church love to talk about in order to place blame on the heads of the church.
With nowhere else left to turn last year I prayed to God, repented, then with all my heart begged for help and teaching, "I was until then an Atheist desperate for hope."
I then had a dream where Jesus came before God and spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed because I never read the bible", and the love I felt from Jesus was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of joy every moment - It brought me to tears and it changed my entire life.
I've had other miracles since, a few being seeing a orb of light hours before a major surgery, seeing an Angel in a dream the night my mother prayed for me to see one, "Without telling me", and having a light in my house turn on 6 times in immediate answer to deeply needful prayer.
Know that God and Jesus are real and that they love us deeply.
Please let go of your hatred, imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you forgive and you love them, pray to God often and I believe we should do our best to follow the 10 commandments, "I've failed many times.".
Lastly, I don't know why life is so cruel, but I've had other experiences that have led me to believe that heaven is beautiful beyond all words, seemingly anything your heart desires, and no matter how much I've struggled, or how much wrong I've done in my life, God has proven to me time and time again that he still loves me, so please, don't lose hope.

I was a convert to the LDS faith. Decieved into believing they were true Christians. I was a baptized member, temple worthy and attended it. I loved Jesus. But I am here to tell you, it is NOT Christian doctrine that is practiced in the temple. It is pagan!!! It is infiltrated with doctrines of demons. There are precious people in the LDS faith. People who really want to serve God. If you love them like I do you will tell them the truth. Hebrews chapter 1 explains revelation beautifully. There is so much more I could say, but I just want you to know, the true Jesus is coming soon, and you must be sure you will not be one of those he says, "depart from me I knever knew you" see Matthew 7:21-23. ❤

NOT one shred of evidence to support Joseph Smith's rantings. He taught Hill Cumorah was the site of the world's greatest battle--Not one sword, shield or other evidence there. The animals depicted in BoM did not exist during 500 BC to 1492. Of course, the Mormon apologists say : " its a different Hill Cumorah." The Book of Mormon is Smith’s invention, & plagiarism--the lack of any linguistic, archeological, or DNA evidence tying any tribe of Native Americans to ancient Israelis

I have decided on something. If the Evangelicals are right about how they interpret the Bible, if God is as harsh as they say he is, if God will throw most of mankind to Hell for NOT believing as the Evangelicals do, then Mormons will rejoice in Hell for the happiness of their fellow believers, also known as their Evangelical friends in Heaven. Mormons love their fellow man and they will never stop loving their fellow man which is ALL people. Because that is what God tells us to do. "In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my brothern, ye have done it unto me." Mormons love God and their neighbors and that will not cease after this life. While Evangelicals forget about the rest of the world as they are basking in God's glory in Heaven, Mormons will be in Hell trying to figure out ways to reach out in love and service to the Muslim, the JW, the Catholic, the Athiest, the Hindu, the Buddist, the "unsaved" Christian, the confused, the unknowledgeable and whoever else the Evangelicals have stated are going to Hell, which will be the majority of mankind. And we will be happy for our Evangelical friends in Heaven. Because that is how Mormons are. Mormons are not perfect and perhaps there are those who have no desire to love everyone in the next life. But they are taught to love all people in this life AND the next. That is the whole purpose of the Temple. And they will continue to strive to do so. I find peace in this thought.

John Calvin influenced the killing of Severtus who was burned at the stake for heresy. So how come people follow Calvin's teachings?
The point is, Mormonism teaches that they can help others in the next life come unto Christ. They also believe God is as merciful as he is just (degrees of glory).
Most Christians believe they won't even think about non Christians in the next life and they believe these non Christians will be tortured forever. And these Christians worship a God who allows that! What does that say about them?
The GOD of scripture is _absolutely_ Sovereign in this Universe. But to John MacArthur, we say, how do you, or anyone else, know what exists in the heavens, when even Paul said he saw and heard things that it was not lawful for man to utter?
If three distinct and holy Beings can be GOD, we ask, how can Pastor MacArthur reconcile that? The Father is GOD, the Son is GOD and the Holy Spirit is GOD. Can he please tell us how there can thus be but ONE God, when the New Testament teaches there are three? For if THREE can be ONE, we ask, then which of of the THREE is GOD? He rejects modalism (as he should, for it is unscriptural), but none of our Christian brothers can tell us how 1+1+1=1. In fact, it equals 3. The three are ONE in purpose, not in being. For the Father and the Son are as completely separate as any father and son in mortality, and the Holy Spirit also is as separate and distinct as the Father and the Son.
Jesus, himself, prayed to the Father, asking that his apostles “may be ONE, even as WE are ONE.” Thus, in the _same way_ HE is ONE with the Father, he asked that the TWELVE be ONE with each other.
Astrophysicists tell us there are 100-200 billion galaxies (maybe more), each one containing many billions of stars and many billions of habitable worlds. That’s mindboggling to say the least. Now, we’re told there may be that many, if not more, universes (multiverses) as well. But where in the scriptures do we see anything about multiverses or galaxies?
The apostle John tells us that we are the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be in the world to come. But, he tells us, “when we see God, we shall be _like_ Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” (1 John 3:1-3) Had a Latter-day Saint written or said this instead of John, MacArthur would declared, blasphemy!
When GOD speaks to the ancient prophets, declaring there is but one GOD and no others, we take him quite literally. But GOD never tried to explain the intricacies of the galaxies and our universe or the existence of multiverses to the ancients (with the possible exception of Abraham) because, 1) they would not have understood these concepts, and 2) they had a propensity to worship sticks and rocks.
Pastor MacArthur _assumes_ that the books of the Bible teach men everything about the heavens and the salvation of men when those books never make that claim. And he condemns the JCLDS faith as being polytheistic simply for believing that man can become as GOD!
We are left to wonder, not why man looks like GOD, but why GOD looks like man? We know we are made in HIS image, for we're told this in Genesis. Also, seventy elders of Israel, plus Moses, Aaron, his two sons, and Joshua all saw the God of Israel (see Exodus 24): “Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was _under his feet_ as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone.”
And Stephen, as he was being stoned, saw GOD, and Jesus Christ on His right hand. In every sense of man seeing GOD in the scriptures, GOD was in the very image of man, and vice versa.
So we Latter-day Saints have a solid basis in the scriptures, and Pastor MacArthur is clearly mistaken on the other issues he raises, many of which we simply don't believe.

Unlike mormons, even a broken clock is correct twice a day. You can add all the letters to LDS you want. The core of that cult is the rebuttal of the unbroken state of the word of God. Gods word cannot be broken. Mormons say it was. Game over. You must renounce mormonism in all its forms to be saved. Not as a separate action, but in your compliance with the true scriptures, which you dont believe, based on the word of a prophet, who will burn for eternity.
Praise God sisters and brothers. I bless God for sharing my testimony with you. We were born four children, but our parents died when we were still young. From that time we struggled with life. Our uncles abandoned us and we scattered from each other to find a way of surviving. I started grazing people's cows, I had nothing to eat because the people I was working for didn't car for me. I used to sleep in the forest with cows. But a time came and I went to work in sugarcane and tobacco plantations, life wasn't easy at all. While there, I started getting dreams of serving God but couldn't believe it because in my family, people had no fear of God. They were Catholics who didn't even pray. But later God told me to stop whatever I was doing and decide to serve Him. But because I wasn't educated, I was doing petty jobs. So I stopped and started preaching the gospel on streets, and in prisons before I got a church. For seven years I was asking God to give me a church where people would always find me. It wasn't easy at all, but I patiently waited until God fulfilled it. On night as I was sleeping, God told me that He was sending me to Mbarara city. By then I didn't know where Mbarara city was because I had never gone there, but He lead me there. Mbarara wasn't easy also at the start but God saw me through and now I thank God that He kept me standing. May God bless you so much. If God were in control of every aspect of this world it would certainly be a much nicer place. God gave Adam dominion over the earth. Read Genesis! Then Adam bowed to the serpent and gave that dominion over to the dominion of darkness. The New Testament scripture calls Satan “the god of this world.” He is the author of every evil in this world and will remain so until Christ returns. Christ put the domain of darkness to “zero” but those who have had their minds blinded to this truth continue in their dark ways. Those who have been born from above are supposed to become spiritually mature enough to help others to have their spiritual eyes opened. Unfortunately, that is not happening as much as it should because much of the church itself does not believe what the scripture says Christ accomplished. Read your New Covenant scriptures and find out who you really are in Christ! DO what it says!
Mr. MacArthur is fooling himself. He said that "Mormons have millions of Gods." But that is untrue. Mormons worship one Christ and one Gospel. And we believe that if we follow him, we can become like him. But that doesn't mean that we follow other than Jesus Christ. MacArthur knows this. And its a cheap shot by him to suggest otherwise. It is traditional Christianity which by its tens of thousands of differing denominations and interpretations of the Bible, that has tens of thousands of different Christs and gospels which they worship. This is self evident.
Bible based religion is gossip, chaos, and babel. So if it is one, it is a counterfeit Christianity, more unto the angel of light conjured up by Satan, than it is divine. Surely Satan can quote scripture for the cause of deceit, and has always sought to be worshipped. This fake Christianity has gone uncontested for nearly two thousand years. And so it has become traditional, such that when the truth comes along, the truth is seen as contrary and disruptive, not unlike Jesus Christs gospel to the religious leaders of his time. MacArthur may mean well, but he doesn't know God. He only knows what he reads about him in scriptural vestiges

"the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints" which you refer to as mormons. not any of yours. consider yourself schooled. the church of god in the time of the prophets, was built on the foundation of the prophets, i. e. upon those doctrines and doctrinal truths deliver'd by them. the church of god under the new testament, is built not only on the foundation of the prophets, but of the apostles, Rev. 21:14. this is precisely what paul affirms in ephesians 2:20 where he says that the church is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, christ jesus himself being the cornerstone” (cf. rev. 21:14; also 1cor. 3:10-11 in context). the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints is the ONLY church today built on a foundation of apostles and prophets. anti-mormons are teaching a false gospel (just like all protestants). for that matter, catholics as well.

Oh, I lived in Utah many years, but I di dnot know much about their theology , I was told their theology is similar to Catholic. well, Catholic do not believe in mutiple Gods. Human become God so on. Many asked us, if they wanted to convert us to their religion, but no one really talked to us about their religion in over 10 years we were there. may be they do not want to share their believe. knowing , it is very different from Catholic belief

Being a "Generational" Utahn... I have noticed that as of late, there are a lot of Muslims who draw quite a few similarities between the Muslim prophet and Mormonism. That said, I have left the LDS church, but not officially. I've attended Pentacostal churches and Baptist churches.... and I end up still feeling like an outsider because I don't want to ask the "wrong" questions. I feel as though I am stuck out in limbo.
Have no fear. "FEAR NOT" is one of the most repeated phrases in the bible. Our God will righteously judge those who judge you. Jesus loves questions, He will lead you to a path of light 🥰
I think that's great that you're trying out those churches! Praise God you are leaving the LDS church. Generally within protestant Christianity, there is less of a fear or condescension towards asking questions than in Mormonism. (If you go to a church where they do treat you badly for that, maybe don't go back). I recommend checking out non-denominational churches and presbyterian churches as well! I also recommend checking out Mike Winger and Sean McDowell and Alisa Childers here on RUclips. They are all wonderful, important resources for understanding the true gospel/Christianity and they each have different focuses. (Understanding the Bible, apologetics, and going against progressive Christianity respectively).
I joined the LDS church in 1971 and have never regretted it. Some leave the church because they no longer believe or because they don't like the social aspects.
Before becoming LDS, I was attending an evangelical church in northern Virginia. The theology appealed to me because I met too many people like John MacArthur.
I don't believe for a moment that God will condemn a man to an eternal hell of fire simply because they are a Catholic, a Mormon or Jehovah's Witness.
There is almost zero similarities between Islam and the LDS faith. Islam has more in common with evangelical religions than the LDS faith. Both believe God no longer speaks to man and that there's only one God to worship.
No one follows a false religion on purpose, so condemning them to hell serves no purpose. Hell, I think, must therefore be remedial in nature! Thus, the salvation of God and in Christ must serve to benefit mankind.
I took a Muslim to our Visitors Center and as soon as she discovered that we believed in latter-day prophets she wanted no part of it!
People ask me, why can't you just give up Joseph Smith, my answer is always the same. Yeah, I could do that, but then, I'd have to give up Heber C. Kimball, Parley P. Pratt, Wilford Woodruff, Lorenzo Snow, Orson Hyde, and many, many others, and that I can't do. I've also read just about everything that Joseph Smith ever wrote or said and I'm convinced he was who he claimed to be. After what he went through in Liberty Jail, how could he not?
You do what you have to do. At byu, I took a few courses by Hugh Nibley and if the Book of Mormon could be proven true, he came as close as anyone could. I attended a lecture by a Catholic theologian on the Nag Hammadi library and was stunned by what he said. Out of his own mouth.
He himself drew a connection between the three men who visited Adam after his expulsion from the Garden of Eden, and Peter, James and John. He wondered why it was so humorous to him, but not to the stone cold stares of students.

I would like for Christ to return, and we meet in the clouds. However, these denominational assemblies that we have today have not fulfilled the prophesy of Romans 11:25.
That prophesy is that Christ will return when the fulness of the Gentiles has come into the "body of Christ." I don't see that happening soon. Do you?

I don't believe that there are enough "body of Christ" members on this planet to work and fulfill the prophesy of Romans 11:25. This is sad, but true. God tells us in I Corinthians 15:1-2 that if we believe in vain - then we believe a false gospel - and we will not be saved. No "body of Christ" for those believers. And since all denominations either add to or take away from the one true gospel, then sadly, those that believe those adulterated gospels, are not members of the "body of Christ."
If we want Christ to come back, then we had better start preaching the gospel, "rightly divided," and cut out all of the satanic (add to or take away) gospels that come from the denominational assemblies that preach this garbage.
We can never expect salvation if we will not accept the gospel of Christ, (the gospel of grace) which is the gospel of the cross.
Our gospel is the gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ - not the gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ + what we need to do to seal the deal.
Christ died for our sins,
Christ was buried with our sins, and
Christ arose without our sins.
Once we believe this gospel, we are then sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day that Christ redeems us. Ephesians 1:13-14.
We have not been preaching this gospel - this is why Christ has not returned for us. The blame is on each and every one of us.

SALVATION - was by works and striving till the end and keeping the Law of Moses. This gospel was taught by Jesus (while on earth) and Peter and the 11.

Jesus death on the cross is fully sufficient for our salvation and our sanctification.
There are two very good reasons to understand this truth:
The first reason is that teaching observance of the Sabbath law diminishes the completed work of Jesus Christ. There is no greater truth which we may place our faith than the truth that Christ’s work on the cross is completely sufficient. Our Savior is our Sabbath rest. Our Savior makes us holy. Observance of a day, or any aspect of the Law, will not gain us the righteousness we so sorely need. We embrace Christ alone through faith alone.
The second reason we need to understand this truth is that we are not to bind another person’s conscience with commands that are not applicable to the Christian life. There are two commands we may find joy in observing so our Savior gets the glory. Let’s keep our eyes on our pursuit of loving God and loving our neighbor.

Jesus said that He came not to abolish the law but to fulfill the law (Matthew 5:17). In fulfilling the law, He completed the law. How did He do this? Jesus fulfilled the Law by obeying the law perfectly and by completing the sacrificial system. Jesus saves to the uttermost! In what way can we offer one more sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins? Jesus pronouncement, “It is finished,” signified the completion and fulfillment of the law.
The Mosaic Covenant is made with Israel and not with the church - The Mosaic Covenant is a conditional covenant and not an unconditional covenant (Exodus 24:1-11). Because it is conditional, it can be broken and annulled. Unconditional covenants, in comparison, are not broken. God makes them and fulfilled by God without condition. The Mosaic Covenant involves the 613 ‘Mitzvoth’ laws (blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience). The law of commandments and ordinances served as a wall (Ephesians 2:14-15) to separate the Israelites from the Gentiles. The Gentiles did not participate in the covenants of promise but were separated. Hebrews 8:13 renders the Mosaic Covenant as obsolete (the word for obsolete is the same Greek word used by Jesus in Mark 2:20-21 when He says not to sew old cloth on new).

That is very clear their are other Gods. And they are not earthly or physical gods, they are heavenly gods, it is talking about judging.
Also, Elohim is used 2500 times in the Bible. In the Hebrew language you add -im to a word to make it plural. Elohim is the plural of Eloah which is God? The problem is that with the Bible you can find the verse that supports your belief but find contradictory verses. Pastors just gaslight and Pastorsplian what we should know.

What he says, is even on the Bible, yet the fact he understands it on his own way, and Mormons on theirs, is different. Isn't polygamy in the old testament? Isn't the Glory of the sun, starts and moon in the new testament? Isn't baptisms for the death mentioned there too, although in 3 verses only, people limit to do some research on what those verses mean? When he said that " nothing should be added to the " bible", doesn't he know that John didn't have the Bible in that time, and what he refers to is to add or taken out to the writings of the revelations. The guy is so missed up. He does a selective research to his convenience. Have you heard him giving an opinion on 1 Corinthians 15:29. Mormonism and biblical Christianity are polar opposites. We may use the same Chrisianese language but our definitions are different. For example, Jesus of mormonism is not the same Jesus of the Bible; here’s how. Mormonism teaches that Jesus was the first created spirit child, he’s our eldest brother the firstborn. Jesus of the Bible has always been God with the Father and Holy Spirt. He was not created. Mormonism teaches that Satan is Jesus’s brother. But how so if the Bible does not teach that and we know Satan was the most beautiful angel in heaven. So we know he was an angel and angels and human spirits are not the same. Here’s another, God the Father in mormonism is not the same God the father of the Bible. The Bible teaches there is one God, there’s none before Him and none after him. But Mormonism from JS history King Follett discourse teaches that God was once a man and achieved Godhood. Bible teaches God is sinless, he was never a man and he has always been God. Bible teaches God is spirit but mormonism teaches that God has a body of flesh and bones. So we see here clearly that God the Father and Jesus Christ of Mormonism is not the same God the Father and Jesus Christ of the Bible. You can only get to heaven and be saved by knowing the true God of the Bible, the true Jesus. Mormonism looks good, and the road says heaven but it’s a counterfeit and leads to hell. My prayer is that God pulls my Mormon friends and family out of the false religion and come to know the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and the only gospel that can save.
These are only two examples; there and hundreds more. And other doctrines unique to Mormonism like baptism for the dead have been created from only one passage, that is pulled out of context, and is spoken of in a negative light in the Bible. We should look at the Bible as a whole and to help us understand unclear passages.
It is usually easy for a christian to recognize distortions, counterfeits, misinterpretations because we are so familiar with the Bible. Those who get led away into false teachings usually don’t have a solid foundation or know their Bible well to recognize when Satan is leading them astray. Remember Satan is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing and can appear as an angel of light. We should compare and analyze everything under the light and lens of the Bible.

Do you believe the words of Jesus, when he taught that God is our Eternal Father?
Do you believe Jesus when he said that God is his God and our God?
Do you believe Jesus when he taught that we have the ability to inherit (a family inheritance) ALL the Father has?
Do you believe Jesus when he taught that to love him is to keep the commandments?
Do you believe Jesus when he taught the focus of becoming ONE with God, as he and his Father in heaven are ONE?
Do you believe Jesus when he taught that he has done nothing save it be what the Father has shown him and instructed him to do- making Jesus “ONE” in purpose with his father?
Do you believe Jesus was crowned with eternal glory after finishing the “work”, and commending his spirit to God as he then died on the cross? He performed his work, and he taught us that our work is the same- read the commandments - do you not see that they are the blueprints to becoming one with God?
If you answered that you believe the words of Jesus, then why do you claim that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worship a “different” Jesus? They are the only religious body on earth that have accepted and who teach the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ - namely that we are literal sons and daughters of God, working out our salvation through obedience, sacrifice, consecration to the Lord, acknowledging that every person has a choice to make, and agency to choose, be it obedience or disobedience, and to qualify or not qualify for blessings based on their choices. The fulness of the gospel teaches far more than the watered down version that we are just simply on earth to make the choice between Christ or Lucifer once more, and some don’t even acknowledge Lucifer anymore, or the war in heaven. They scream that works will not save you, and in a way, they are 100% correct, because it is God who saves us, who resurrects us, through Jesus Christ and his atonement. But it ignores all of the Lord’s parables and teachings, telling us we have a duty and work to perform, as opposed to the irreligion of simply honoring Christ with our lips while our hearts are far from him! His mission was to fulfill all righteousness, to do for us what we did not have the capacity to do, but he will not force anyone into heaven. No unclean thing can enter into God’s presence. Repentance is required.
These men laugh and mock, and boast of their own wisdom and knowledge, and preach that the Church isn’t true, using their interpretation of scripture, while completely ignoring the specific gospel and lessons taught by Jesus Christ that fully support the truth of our divine family, the mystery of heaven, the truth that few will find… that we truly are literal sins and daughters of God, and that Father wants us to come home, and to teach our greatest potential, and that is to become perfect like he is, as opposed to anything of lesser understanding or virtue. He wants us to be one with Him! He will always be our God, our one God, but more important to him, is that we recognize that he is our Father! Becoming like our Father is his ultimate design, and his ultimate love, for us to be perfect like he is, to become like he is, and to therefore do what he does, becoming a God, one like Jesus, who loves his Father, and who will eternally glorify his Father! By doing this, can’t you see! This is how God increases in glory! This is how we glorify Him through worship for eternity! That worship is not us being on our knees praising him at his throne forever! No! It is in magnifying the glory of God by becoming like him, and doing what he has done, and that honors him, glorifies him FOREVER! Becoming a God is our divine purpose in order to have a fulness of joy, being one with God, and being able to truly worship God for all eternity!
They say Mormons debase God. These kinds of men, leading others away from the gospel, do not debase God, but they debase all of mankind, preaching a gospel mingled with scripture and founded upon worldly wisdom, without revelation!
Joseph Smith was a prophet of God! Jesus called him to restore the fulness of the gospel because the time is soon at hand when this kingdom of Lucifer is met with the return of Jesus Christ, when the veil will be removed, and angels will descend to reap the world to cleanse its wickedness! The second coming is near. These men are going to be sorely ashamed for preaching against the Lord’s anointed!

The church I belong to is literally called The Church of JESUS CHRIST. What is the name of the church you attend? Who appointed the name? By what authority does your pastor preach his interpretations of the Bible.
There is zero doubt for me that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that He died for my sins, that He rose again on the third day, and that He is the only way to return to our Heavenly Father. There’s no argument from me on that key point of religion. God is not confined to a Bible. Never has been and never will be. If you stopped preaching about things you don’t really know anything about, trying to lead others like myself away from the Lord to join you in your self-imposed closed-heaven world without true revelation, you might start to really grow in understanding.
The Church is the only true church in the planet, with a true prophet at its head, lead by Jesus Christ, with revelation, with priesthood, with authority, with proper saving ordinances, and with a clear path and instruction regarding repentance.

For example the Bible says God is spirit,they believe he is flesh,Jesus is God in the flesh,they believe he was a man earning his way to God hood, the Bible teaches we are saved by grace,they believe it is your works,Mary was a virgin conceived by the holy spirit,they believe God came down in his physical body and had sex with her,God says he knows of no other God's, they believe they will become one. Only the bible contains the truth. Study the bible, in particular the gospels of Matthew, Luke and John. Then the book of Acts. That is the CORE of Christianity.
Jesus wants us to follow Him, not religion.
Salvation comes by confessing Jesus as Savior, and studying and adhering to His words. He said that those that eat His flesh and drink His blood will be saved. His flesh are His words, the scriptures, the gospel. His blood is the blood he shed on the cross that washes us clean. If you accept his atonement then you have drunk His blood.
Mormons think that eating bread and drinking water at their Sacrament is what is required.
Being a Christian doesnt mean you suddenly have to join up with some brand of religion and have to go to church every Sunday, etc etc.
Mormons believe in a works based salvation. But Jesus said that ALL men have come short of the glory of God, all men are sinners. Jesus came for the lost, for the sinners. He died for our sins, every single person, so that anyone who believes and confesses with their mouth and heart will be saved.
Salvation is a free gift for everyone on this planet. Sadly many will not accept this gift, all because they choose to follow after the world and what they think. Or follow after religions that feed them "strange" flesh (false doctrines, fables of men, doctrines of devils).
The answers you get from religious Christians will always vary, because they adhere to their own corrupt doctrines whilst ignoring the clear and plain truth that is in the bible.
I have given you the plain answer, however it truly is up to you to pray for understanding, for your eyes to see the truth, for your heart to understand.
Jesus is the way, THE TRUTH, the life and the light of this dark world.
Seek Him, pray for Wisdom, and truth and understanding will be given to you.
