This Bluetooth speaker appealed to me because of its larger, substantial, retro boombox style and decent battery capacity. If you don't feel like watching the video, I can say that this is the most fun and competent Bluetooth speaker in 2022. It's big, but not too big (still fits in the top compartment of my rucksack) and has decent audio quality with plenty of power.
This thing could fill more than a room with sound. You could fill a small house! When it comes to audio products, sometimes a bit of size really helps.

The Motion Boom (Using in WTS-Mode) are also my favorite speakers (for my sonic taste, better than my Motion+ and Sony XB43 in WTS-Mode). Only one minor thing is that the bass button doesn't work with individual equalizer settings.
This speaker is fantastic especially with its outdoor performance. Definitley tweaking the app helps. :D
Just got one today and it sounds much better than anything else I have heard minus the JBL boombox

I got the price wrong in the video. The Motion Boom currently retails for £94.99 but I got it for £79.99 with the current £15 voucher promotion from Anker. Sorry about that. It's still a bargain though.
Soundcore is gonna release a bigger version of this speaker, I think it's gonna be called the Motion Boom Plus, I'd love to see you review it.

I bought this at my T-MOBILE store. This is excellent - sounds fantastic, especially with “Bass” turned on. Battery lasts several hours [ although the lights and Bass do take some juice]. I haven’t run the battery out yet. I got a 1 year warranty as well.
While MY truck is in the shop, I’ve had to buy a temporary truck for work - no radio, so I use this with my Smartphone. Works excellent.
Good solid quality as well.

Hello i ve a question.
i ve different soundcore bluetooth speakers but onyl with the MOTION BOOM i ve suffered this problem: at the first steps of the volume (the volume is sync with my galaxy samsung phone) the quality is soo bad, sound muffled, no dynamic and something similar to “zero treble”. With up step of volume the speaker starts to play well and the sound quality is very good.
With others speakers as BOOST UPGRADED, SOUNDCORE 2 the quality is good at already the first steps of the volume.
I ve two motion boom tested and the problem is present in both.
Do you experience something similar?

Do they use the space in the handle for anything?
Have you played with the custom EQ yet? Would love to hear it after that is done.
Had a quick play and it works great. You can really push that ‘loudness’ even further with the custom EQ. You do lose the ‘mega-bass’ setting though when you use a custom EQ and not a preset.

Is it true that you pay more for IP rated speakers/radios, than those that aren’t IP rated?
It would make sense. It’s tough to engineer a product to pass IP rating tests. There must be extra cost involved which will ultimately get passed to us. Very handy though. 👍🏻

Pick this up due to the review on RUclips. It’s alright but doesn’t pack that sound stage and boom that everyone on RUclips is talking about. It’s a good bang for your bucks under 80$ let’s just said, not enough thumb to get you moving.
I’m walking with a group in a Pride March in a couple months and looking for a powerful speaker to blast out some music. Does this have the umph to cut through the cheering crowds and be heard within the immediate vicinity?
