I have two motion booms and they sound really good in TWS mode, I lost my old motion plus that i owned back in 2019. I think im gonna order two they are much more compact you can throw two in a bag and you got great compact/lightweight audio setup for outside
@@HansPeter-pe6cw I prefer the motion+ Hans, if you buy 2 of them you have a great sounding extremely loud for its size setup, even at max volume with custom eq it sounds great, same to the motion boom the motion + and motion boom are equally loud only the sound dispersion on the motion+ is wider because of the the placement of the tweeters, less soundstage and clarity on the motion boom but slightly more sub bass, both similair battery lives, both great and can be listened to for 30 hours if you dont max it out all the way. I did gave my motion booms away becausr i did not like the big unremoveable handles and if i wanted more sub bass i would use my partybox 710 or 310 for ground shaking sub bass, if i was you i would get the motion+ for the clarity and the 3 times lower latency aptx codec over standard sbc. Fun tip if you have a Samsung phone you probably know about Dual audio, u can connect multiple bluetooth devices and play them at once, normally im not a fan of this because of the delay, but with the motion+ because of the 32ms aptx latency there is no delay and the music is synced correctly, you can basically pair endless amounts of motion+ with other speakers, i use 2 partyboxes that play in tws and then the soundcore motion+ in tws connect with samsung dual audio and u have 4 speakers playing music syned wireless without any delay, i love this soo much about the motion+ not many speakers have aptx codecs nowadays, mostly all sbc or aac, even ldac codec has a pretty bad latency of 100+ms which makes them unsuitable
No doubt the Motion+ sounds clearer but the Motion Boom plays "deeper" in to the bass if that makes sense. You have to listen to music that plays down to 40hz to notice that. Motion+ is more about the upper bass "thump" whereas the Boom is more about the lower bass "rumble". There is always a trade off with these bluetooth speakers and I'm finding myself switching between both of them depending on what genre I'm listening too,

I have both and i agree with you, Motion+ is better, i was a little bit disappointed with the Motion Boom when i got it some days ago, but no doubt, the Boom fills more the space with the bass, over all outdoors, it is a bass you can feel, but in everything else Motion+ is the clear winner, just sounds better and it is smaller. PD: Could you share your eq's? Please, just to try them 🙏

I've got the motion+ and it is a great speaker. There was an upgrade to the speaker a while back and it really made a difference in sound. The motion+ sounds great when I'm listening to audio dramas or watching described movies.

no eq on either I do out the box my sound test for the casual that won't touch eq. like our grandparents, parents and friends that would use it right out the box. 🙂
What volume are you testing at? At 40-70% both speakers will be very closely matched. At 80-100% is where the Boom comes into it's own and will leave the Plus in the dust.

Another great video. I’d still have to go with the Boom though. The Boom sucks in standard mode, but when you customize it in the app (which is what it should always be used in imo) its hard to be beat for me personally. Boom is a bass heavy speaker, so it drowns out the mids (vocals) alot, so I just bring down the bass a notch or two, and up the treble to bring out that clarity.
If you need bass for cheap then go for the W-King X10 or D10. But if you want detail, get the motion+. I have both. One is for electro and dance sounds, the other for pop and classical ones.
I have two Motion Boom and also two Motion+ that I recently sold. The Booms sound much more analytical, have more stable and pronounced Treble (and this without dedicated Tweeters) and also a fuller Bass. My advice is: test it yourself, because I, for example, prefer a high-pitched sound to a round, warm sound.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but would these work well with my Anker Nubula portable projector that can only output audio via Bluetooth? I'm asking because when I send Bluetooth audio to my old Vizio SB3651 sound-bar, there's a half-second (or so) audio-delay which makes everything look like an old dubbed-over Godzilla movie. I've tried every Vizio setting and cannot get rid of that delay. It seems like a pair of these speakers would be perfect with my projector, provided there is no delay. Thanks!
That I don’t know because maybe your project’s Bluetooth might have the delay with a lot of different products. I know when the Samsung soundbar I reviewed there is a delay sync option on the soundbar.

You can hear the difference of each being an outdoor/indoor speaker itself
