Emile Griffith UD15 Jose Stable

Perhaps more suited to the junior welterweight division, Cuban in-fighter Jose Stable proved he had the moxie for the higher weight class by beting such quality contenders as Charley Scott, 'Kitten' Hayward and future champion Curtis Cokes, and used this experience in taking the fight to the bullishly strong Emile Griffith, who prevailed by decision in this very competitive and fun fight.
Stable's career dropped off after this and like his compatriot Jose Napoles his skin let him down a few times. He certainly proved his talent in this bout though.

Not really a fan of Griffith. But currently watching all his fights that we have on film. This is one of the better ones for sure!
