I was a little boy back in the early 60s, I would go over to the neighbors house to watch the Gillette Cavelcade of Sports every Friday night because few people had TVs back then. I knew The Hurricane was something special.

Have you seen carter's other fights on you tube. Most of his fights were by decision. He was losing fights by the time he was arrested. He was past his prime.

I saw this fight.Carter annihilated Griffith.Dont think Emile ever recovered after the Paret fight.

It sad because they don't even recognize him in boxing world was the best middleweight hands down a racist cop racist judges racist system in 1964 and his lawyers was horrible 😢. Yeah. I didn't agree with the stoppage. He got up wanted to continue and his corner threw in the towel. I've seen Griffith knocked down before and he would usually come back strong in a fight.
