Nostromo, you are a god amongst video editors. You've proven that you can make just about anything epic, whether it's AMVs or firework shows or even a fucking slideshow of photos from your trip to Japan.

for the 1st time i saw this like 7 years ago,i was new to amvs back then so my reaction was like-"eh,an okay amv". Later after that i've seen your other stuff and realized you totally deserve your name,but few days ago i randomly decided to rewatch this and dude..this probably one of the best amvs of that time,one of the best amvs i've seen,one of the best ever. This is so cinematic i cant even explain,the sync and the scene selection literally 11/10,there are many good monogatari amvs,but this one is just so different yet so simple,i cant describe.You were ahead of your time indeed. Amazing job!
Thx, it has some cool ideas and I was proud of it when it came out but now I only see the parts where my editing was a bit lazy and I think about all the cool ideas that I could implement if I was editing it today.
One of the most unique amv's I have ever seen. Btw, I totally love the way you did that mix! Tbh, your version of 'On The Top Of Our Heads' sounds better than the original, at least IMO.

@EnIgMoZz2 sometimes it's frame by frame photo editing. Other times, I can use other tricks to make the process a bit faster : like cleaning one frame and then using the cleaned part of this frame over credits and moving it frame by frame.
@DaRyniek Sometimes when converting videos, some people multiply the frame rate and you get weird stuff like 47 or 119 fps. I have no idea why they do that.
@edchau02 Actually, the rendering isn't much faster since I'm still using Premiere Pro 2.0. I tried CS5 but it felt really heavy to use so I'm waiting for 5.5 or CS6. Sulaco was.. kinda expensive I guess : about 2k Euros.
WOW, although i've seen people edit the other way (editing with an abundance of beats syncing them all) i reckon that i like your editing style better! :D
Can you post filter options or settings file so i could try to apply it on full track? What soft you have used? Sony Soundforge? If you could apply this filter on the whole song and post it somewhere that would be great.
I probably won't upload the song but I can tell you what filter I used. I did it with Premiere, it's a basic audio filter but I don't remember which one, I'll tell you as soon as I get back to my main comp.
@Nostromovx I have no idea whatsoever how you survived making Auriga on a laptop. SULACO is a great machine, although it has already gotten a bit outdated with the rise of new Sandy Bridge processors. The specialty of those are video rendering, so too bad that you missed out. xD
@Nostromovx So did you do something like this? Import to Photoshop (or any other image editing software). And then carefully edit the pixels of each frame? And how long did it take you? I'd imagine that to take very long, well depending on how much credits.
