Redline will be remembered for decades as one of the best anime movies ever made, and one of the most satisfying experiences in the history of animation. I mean, it has alone built a standard for racing-themed cinematographic productions, in a way that if you're making a movie about a futuristic dystopian race and don't make it like that, it will probably just feel bland and slow. Seriously, watch this.
I love these older AMVs. They were so well made. You could tell the creator actually cared and worked hard to make it good. I'm 50 now and I can't stand new AMVs. They are ai made and have no feeling. I used to rate AMVs, but I gave up long ago. Gone are the days of great AMVs. I remember just downloading AMVs from a website, can't remember the name of it. Before YT was even a thing. The work that goes into these is awe inspiring. Miss those days. All the great AMV were made back in the 2000s and 2010s.

Barely any of them are AI made. I think there's a significant element of there simply being more AMVs so you get people who aren't as good at the tools (not as dedicated at it), similar to writing. There's actually a larger quantity of better quality content, but sifting through all the meh stuff is hard.
I cant even IMAGINE how much EFFORT WAS PUT IN EACH INDIVIDUAL FRAME!! I have never seen or heard Redline, but MAN!! This is what animation was for. Such colorful and most of all INTENSE. If this is just an AMV, I can't imagine how good and alive the rest of the movie must feel. I will Definitely watch this.

The Yellow Line race intro someone uploaded along with videos on how significant to the world of animation this movie was were the things convincing me to finally sit down to watch. Although, an intergalactic car race with Studio Gainax level "fuck it, we ball," animation doesn't have to do much more convincing than that. XD But yes, I also now own the Blu-Ray.

I'd seen this AMV years before I watched the movie, so going in, I already knew the ending. And I was _still_ on the edge of my seat the whole time. Masterpiece film. GOAT-tier AMV.
I've watched this video several times a day for the last week. Excellent work. One point that for some reason really sticks out to me is Boiboi and Bosbos shaking their arms to "want more body". That syncing is just perfect.

This never gets old. Made me rewatch the movie a few days ago (another AMV made me watch it the first time) and I'm going to rewatch it very soon again
No other Movie/Anime/Game/Series/Whatever before or after (so far) has EVER made speed feel sooo visceral and intense as Redline has done. It is over top and garish but the style just meshes into something greater then it's parts. This edit fits into that very well. Kudos!
