I tried with Turkey, they don't actually have that many
You'd be surprised at how future stars they'd gain from this outside of the notable names, however, FM loves producing insanely good Turkish/German regens which could definitely carry it once they start coming through!

England is a big one too to remove players from. They have a lot of Jamaican, Ghanaian, Congolese and Nigerian names. Even Rashford would be a St Kitts player
you should do Poland as their is many players that could of played for them such as Podolski,Musiala,Dybala and more
An idea that might be interesting: how about restoring old nations to see how they'd do (like Austria-Hungary, Yugoslavia, etc.) Not sure if feasible though easily :)

If you’re travelling around the globe with this series, would love to see Australia as an Australian. I’ve gotten them to 13th in the World Rankings in my save I’ve been doing all year on fm, would be super curious seeing this sun play out though
I’m English but live in Canada and I know of a couple players who could declare for us like Tomori who was born here I think it would be an interesting one!
Would probably take a bit longer and potentially mess some stuff up... but some sort of sim that just combines all players on teams below 125 FIFA ranking as one massive team could be interesting. See if taking all the best players from "bad" countries and putting them together can do anything, or if they just remain bad.
That would actually be a fascinating little test, like all the worst nations team up like the power rangers to fight the FIFA world powers!

What About England? i know it sounds weird but there are many English born players who could've repped the country. Haaland, Reyna, Schmeichel, Musah, Balogun, McTominey, Aina
Poland would be pretty interesting. A lot of players declare for Germany, Argentina and some England. Notably Klose, Podolski, Dybala, Tarkowski and so many more that I am probably not aware of

Qe will never win a world cup, our best chance was in 1990 when we lost 1-0 to the hosts Italy in the 1990 World Cup. We are not good enough its the sad truth but at least we cant point to a time where we finished eighth in the world and were ranked sixth in 1993
Godwin would’ve had more caps if Bazunu and Kelleher weren’t in front of him, and when they are two of our best players, it’s way harder to get capped
It makes total sense, i wish he'd come through as anything other than a keeper, he could have been the catalyst for deeper WC runs or more EURO's victories

Ireland’s greatest export has been its people. There’s over 75 million people in the Irish diaspora, nearly one million of which are first generation and thus entitled to Irish nationality living in England, Scotland, and Wales.
Canada would be a cool smaller one too. A few decent players like Tomori, Bono, Cristante, De Guzman and Marmoush were eligible. And now a lot of young potential players could've chosen Canada like Stefan Mitrovic, Enes Sali, Dominik Yankov, Niko Sigur and Marcelo Flores.
Maybe A big experiment by doing France. All French plagers with second nationalities, France will fall and Africa will be interesting

Now that FIFA has reverted the WC format change, could you install a patch that fixes it in FM?
Martin O'Neill had the chance to cap Declan Rice when we were 2-0 up at home to Moldova, with both teams just going through the motions for the last half hour. He was always overly rigid though, sticking to the same conservative line-up for every game, & was very reluctant to make subs or give new players a chance. The O'Neill/Keane regime was so toxic that they drove both Rice & Grealish away. I can't remember the details now, but Roy Keane did say something to Rice which offended him at the time.

There's a pervasive myth amongst Irish fans that England steal their players. But in reality, there has never - EVER - been an instance of an Irish player playing for England. It's literally never happened.

What if you would create new or old nations like Catalonia, West Germany, Soviet union or yugoslavia and move all players eligible to their national team. You can also combine or reduce the youth intake chances as these nations are larger or smaller.
I'd like to try something like that at some point, but it's a lot more leg work as i'd have to recreate the nations from scratch, and they'd need league systems and teams etc
@@Secondyellowcard maybe it's possible to leave the leagues as they are and simply edit some national teams, while removing others (say Croatia is renamed Yugoslavia, the players from Slovenia, BH, Serbia, etc. are moved to this Croatia/Yugoslavia but their leagues still remain as they are and I guess there should be some method of excluding these other countries from international football (guess like it's the case with Russia currently)). Similarly you could create a new nation without creating a new league and move players over by editing a national team as a sacrifice (looking again at the aforementioned national team) and dissallowing youth intake from that edited national team (to not have Catalonia filled with big bears sipping on vodka).

I managed to win the Euros in 2028 with Ireland. Nathan Collins, Andrew Omobamidele, Parrott, Idah, Ferguson were the stars. Sam Curtis at right back, Alex Murphy at left back. FM rates a lot of our young players quite highly!
Curtis went terrible in my save, Murphy is quite good tho
They have some great talent, which i think really carried that EURO 2032 win, i think they only had 5-6 regens in that team, the future is bright IRL for this team!
