I had a stroke reading this.
This is a really good starter idea concept, but I suspect it failed because of two issues, money and reputation, yes the Georgian clubs were getting CL money, but it obviously would still be less money then a midtable club in a top five leagues, and as those teams have better reputations they will join a Atlanta/Crystal Palace instead of a Batumi.
I suspect if you reversed the clubs or league reputation as well as the coefficients it would be really interesting, the top players would want to join the smaller nations, but may not have the money to do it, but the bigger nations would have more money but less players willing to join.
Be an interesting next step in the experiment I think.

Nice, I've done something like this back on FM18, but I had also changed the starting clubs for the 2 european competitions, so that big nations Spain and Italy started with 1 club in the preliminaries and had it more difficult to climb back
So the FM24 stream is midnight train to Georgia on a custom DB then. Trust a Matt sim to decide that it was going to have a major effect on Ireland. It’s like he picks his nations to build for a reason!

6:24 this could be totally wrong, but im pretty sure a club's coefficient is either based on their last 5 year coefficient (so their actual coefficient) or there nation's coefficients whichever is higher. So I'm guessing that 'randomness' exists because those clubs from lower leagues have never (or not a high level atleast) played in european comps and instead get their way higher nation coefficient which leads to them getting drawn into pot 1
EDIT: I said that they have never gotten any high coefficients but for these clubs from the lowest leagues that wouldnt matter anyway as no one has a club coefficient of 40+ plus like those nations had at the start lmfao

Video idea: give georgia a youth rating of 200 and all facilitys at 20 and look in 25 years if they are uprising
Maybe to try and have the changes stay for the countries try it again but change like all teams and players to have the same reputation or something like that just to make it more chotic
this only works for the first 5 years after which the "strong" and "weak" point season fall out of the results hence why the big clubs are back up again.
You should've used FMRTE. You can even give nations negative values or nations a value of 1000

9:00 as an Austrian I thought that this simulation completely ruined all chances for Austrian clubs to do anything in Europe :D. RB Salzburg has been carrying Austria internationally for roughly a decade now, slowly climbing up the ranks of the UEFA 5 year rating and getting more international spots for other Austrian clubs who have done reasonably well sometimes over the last years, but have nowhere near the success of RB Salzburg.
That is understandable because RB Salzburg literally have 10x the budget of the second best club in Austria, which is my hometown club Sturm Graz (who managed to be the first team to place 4th/last this season in their UEFA Europa League group with 8 points, it was absolutely mad).
However, RB Salzburg themselves took a long time to even get into the Champions League and we (Austria) have been fighting to keep that single instant CL spot - which is gonna be even more difficult with the new system coming in 2024.
With you flipping the table and Austria being around 9th to 11th place before the flip we now found ourselves probably at around place 40-44 and I thought it would take RB Salzburg a long time to collect enough points to get us back up - if they can do it at all. But apparently with many weaker clubs in the competition to beat RB Salzburg collected a ton of points rather quickly and got us back up there in the ranking, very impressive.
