- In today's video, I will attempt the hardest FM23 Rebuild ever!
I will be taking control of Liechtenstein's Vaduz who actually participate in the Swiss league system.
What makes this rebuild so difficult you ask, well Vaduz's only way into European Competition is via the Liechtenstein Cup - BUT that only gets them into the Europa Conference League. If I want to win the Champions League, my only way in is via winning the Europa League the previous season...
Which I can only qualify for by winning the Conference League the season before - if we fail, we have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!
Our goal is simple, see where we can take this small club in 10 seasons and see what silverware we can add to the trophy cabinet!

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

@@nighthawk6692 that's why I got hyped it was a VADUZ save ya pleb.
Theo becomes a pretty solid player, I always try to sign him at the end of his contract, if you play him as a mezzala on attack or shadow striker and train his aerials he is a 10-15 goals a season midfielder. And on top of that he is Zinedine Zidane's son.

This is one hell of a challenge. Tried this on FM22 and it was challenging. Going to give it another blast on Fm24 to see how I can do over a 30 year period

Can doing well in Europe lead to Liechtenstein getting a higher coefficient and qualify for better tournaments?

Btw I would love to see you do a rebuild with Freiburg, if you think about doing a rebuild in Germany again. They have a heavy emphasis on their youth and also have one of the best academies in the country (the most famous player they brought through must be Ginter). They are a pretty healthy club only spending money they actually have. They are also my favourite club, so that might also be a factor why I would love to see this xD.

I went to Vaduz first ever Conference league group stage game against my team Apollon Limassol. A very weird experience to say the least, as it felt more of a family club in a small village
Well done. I have been at Vaduz this edition and managed to get to the UCL thru coefficients. Won the UECL on the way. Highly recommend this challenge! Cheers 😊

@@HoodGamingUK got there once and finished the save (still have the file tho, so can try to check what happens later). I got to the UCL as one of two teams with best coefficients right after the season where I have won the UECL.
It was lovely to watch old mates like Djokic, Isik, Fehr or your (and mine) signing Zumberi 😄
With bit more luck, like not getting an English team drawn almost every single time, your team was strong enough to win the Europa League. You had some amazing newgens, and even coming thru your own academy. I never had anyone being even close to Smith’s level. Lichtensteini youth was, sadly, garbage.
I know guy who make 100 seasons with Vaduz. Ch.L. was get after 30 years. And board says mostly Liectensteiners. Not only. But that guy buy only Liechtensteiners of course.

Vaduz II never got into the Liechtenstein Cup final irl. Eschen/Mauren and Balzers are the best-of-the-rest teams atm. Btw I wonder if anyone has a custom database with Liechtenstein having their own league.

Yes it’s clearly a mistake in the edit and not supposed to be like that… I believe there is a team from San Marino that play in the Italian league system
@@HoodGamingUK That might be cool to do. Do they have the same rules of no league win possible? Prolly could be a bit easier with the better money in Italy, but then again you have to play against better teams too.

I have to say....
As a tactics creator myself this is one of the most thought out combination of roles, an excellent job of showing such a beautiful 4-2-3-1
Personally I like to see my defence play out with a simple method of CB De and DM Su as the both play pretty 1st phase build ups without the Hollywood ball
Controlling the narrative but building through the phases smart as demonstrated in this video..MEZ Su supplying the IF At and AF At, along with the split goal scorer/creator roles

Hi guys, how do i get full knowledge on the tactic, it always stops around 80% for me which really bothers me
It all depends on players and their preferred roles, how long they’ve been at the club and if that tactic is your primary trained tactic
There is a way to remove/ reduce contracts as you walk away in talks then the next day you can speak to the agent to loose negotiating then remove the release clause i do this as I’m in Iceland and every season I get raided also get video ❤
Some times the agents insist on the minimum fee release clauses but that is a good way to do it!
The coefficient looks a bit wierd to be honest. In 27/28 you score 21.000 with just one team making the quarter final of the EL. France and Italy probaly recorded more wins overall and got less coefficient points. idk. Looks buggy to me. Is there a Lichtenstein bonus?
Points are getting divided by the amount of clubs you have in Europe as a nation. As Vaduz was the only one for Liechtenstein it gets divided by 1 and Spain for example gets a win divided by 7. (If they have 7 clubs in Europe)

It doesn't exist
There is no Liechtenstein league, which you implied. An even bigger challenge would be to use a customised database with Balzers, and try to win the Champions League with them
That might have to be a FM24 offline save for me... I think that would take a long long time!

Is it really a rebuild?
A rebuild implies that something has previously been built. Vaduz have been around a long time but they’ve achieved virtually nothing in that time.
They were founded 91 years ago & the furthest they’ve ever been in a European competition is the first round.
Not diminishing the challenge of course, it’s gonna require some serious gameplay.

There is no Liechtenstein league that’s why they all play in Switzerland. It’s the only country in Europe not to have their own league.
