That is a great story. I loved watching Alexis Arguello fight as well.

Alexis's death was "ruled" a suicide in Nicaragua where at the time Alexis was the mayor of Managua, the capital city. Cause of death; two bullets to the heart. Not one. Two. Word is he ran afoul of Ortega and he had his henchmen take him out.

Roberto Clemente, the Puerto Rican baseball player and humanitarian, may have been killed by the American government while attempting to bring aid to the earthquake ravaged people of Nicaragua - this was during the Somoza regime, who were in cahoots with the American government - all because he defied them(they weren’t allowing supplies reach the common people) and decided to take matters into his own hands. Incidentally, the only body which was recovered from the cargo plane was that of an American military pilot.
Of course, things like what you mentioned will never come to light and given true credence…

Been years since I've seen a video of angel Garcia and his son together. I remember when they were hot a decade ago together. Too bad everything comes to a end. They had a good run. Also Alexis arguello is one of the most loved fighters internationally.
