I swear Alanda makes every single horror movie a must see.
I rather watch Alanda's reactions than the movies she comments on. I haven't seen the Halloween series, just the first one, but I feel like I have plus with an awesome added commentary.
Real talk she needs a Patreon. Would love to sit through a full length reaction with her
@@FINNSTIGAT0R and @Gunnerrich Exactly.
So true 🤣

Rachel is probably the most underrated Final Girl to me. Like she was really out here for her little sister. If Jamie didn't know thT Rachel truly loved her like a real sister, she knew after that night. Top 3 for me...
I agree with you Ash Lee Can! "Rachel" was bad ass! I cannot wait till you watch the 5th installment, it is the darkest of the "Thorn Series" (4,5,6) 7 is H20 and everything will be explained.
I agree! I don’t feel Rachel gets as much love or recognition as she deserves!
@@darkvanilla5145 I’d argue the 6th installment is even more dark! Quite possibly the darkest in the whole franchise. Michael was BRUTAL and scary af in that one! 😓
When she said get on my back I was like she know what’s goin down finally. Then lowered her down the house… Rachel was winning and saving
@@darkvanilla5145 I hated the Thorn angle.
“Look how he’s rockin’ you can tell it don’t have a soul”. I died 😂😂
I read that as I seen that comment
😂😭💀
'What is his dye job? Why does he look blonde all of a sudden?' 🤣🤣. That line really made me laugh. A major blooper that's hard to miss 🤣🤣
Yeah a very critical error missed by everyone during the long hours of filming. It is explained in the 2014 re-release documentary: 33:20 ruclips.net/video/LrIz1zrlzdI/видео.html&ab_channel=KiLDiGdotcom
The masks they ordered the did not check on from pre-production until they got on set. The 6 they got had pink with white hair, so a few were repainted on-set in a fast manner, and unfortunately it was rush job which is why the mask looks cheap. Someone grabbed the wrong mask that night, scene was filmed but no one noticed. Same thing happened with Donald in that he was wearing his hat during filming one cold night to keep his head warm, and they filmed half the night with the hat on until they noticed Dr. Loomis wasn't wearing a hat in the movie, so they had to reshoot it all.
That's just the ghost of Ben Tramer wanting revenge on Loomis.
If there's one thing about Alanda, she knows hairdos and wigs when she sees them.
😂👍
Favorite quote so far: “Oh, that’s Michael! Look how it’s rocking. You can tell it don’t have a soul.” 😂 25:39
32:55 I always found it hilarious how Michael had so much time to react and jump out of the way, but he decided to just stand there and let it happen.😂😂

Rachel is one of the greatest heroines in horror history. She is a worthy successor to Laurie Strode.
True, she survived that fall from the roof and continued to put up a good fight.
Not really. Considering they killed her right off the bat in the next one.
@@FlixCreEightR Darn. Welp, it was nice while it lasted.
Always loved Rachel.
@@FlixCreEightR well that was stupid for them to do. But they killed Laurie in a stupid way in Halloween: Resurrection and it didn’t negate the fact that she was a great final girl.
I remember, when this movie was new, people were complaining about how having a child in jeopardy was in bad taste. And I was like...you realize that's because *Danielle Harris' acting is incredibly convincing, right?!
It's weird, because people loved "Poltergeist" when it came out 🤔

What I like about this movie is the fact Micheal is going after a child someone who can’t defend themselves against Micheal which makes it worse being he’s her uncle. If you thought Jamie was in for a ride in 4 oof Halloween 5 has possibly the scariest most claustrophobic sequence I’ve seen in a horror movie.

One thing I can always appreciate about the Halloween movies is that they are consistent with Michael. Even the worst Halloween movies still make Michael scary af.
Well, aside from when Busta Rhymes kung fu kicked Michael out of a window. But I think we all try to collectively forget about that movie.
This one has a lot of jump scares. I could not believe they kept getting me with the jump scares.
We can all agree that movie had never existed
@@glennwelsh9784 YES. Resurrection was ridiculous. And he was completely UNscary that whole movie
@@mounada4098 Unless if you're like me watching "Halloween: homecoming". I really love how poor Loomis just gets progressively more insane throughout Halloween 4 and 5. He legit loses his shit and I'm here for it haha. Thank you for the reaction!
PS. I still mourn Dewey
We all are still mourning 😪
Well everyone around Loomis is a total moron. I'd lose my shit too haha
People complain about Halloween 5 and the Rob Zombie movies a lot for making Loomis "unlikable" but its like... by Halloween 5 I fully believe the man has gone crazy. The Zombie movies make him a shallow and self centered doctoe who profits off of Michaels mental illness and then Michaels victims suffering, but again, I think its a realistic take on a psychiatrist character, and helps explain why Michael never got better under his care.
@@robertyeah2259it makes complete sense that Rob made Loomis so different because whilst Malcolm is an amazing actor no one can replicate what Donald did and to have Loomis just got crazy again it would be like been there done that. I like that he made him a money hungry ass 🤣
That you were able to pull “Wish Upon a Star” out of your memory is one of the more impressive things I’ve ever seen!

@@AlandaParker such a good movie. We grew up watching these movies and wish upon a star. I was hoping you'd know that movie!
This is one they would constantly show on AMC when I was a kid, and even though it has its flaws, it's my favorite in the series.
Yes! It’s where I first watched it. My uncle told me to watch it and it easily became my favorite as it was really the first I watched from beginning to end
Deadass AMC 😂😂
AMC fear fest was how I was exposed to my very first horror movie back in 2011. Halloween II (1981).
🔪🎃🤘
No flaws in H4 I say. It managed to have a completely different feel from the original from opening quiet fall open, to the way it was shot, to the twist ending at the end which was a downer in a lot of ways because you wanted a happy ending for the family which is another testament to how much they made you support them but still a huge way to go out on (no relying every other scene on nostalgia or recreating the original like Halloween 2018 did or movies like Star Wars Force Awakens). It had strong and likeable characters like Rachel, Jamie, Dr. Loomis was determined, the loving parents, sheriff who felt like a real leader, the truckers, even the boyfriend who courageously fought off Michael like a champ. It felt like a real community. The detail of Dr. Loomis's burn scar on his face being a reminder of Michael's terror was strong too. Ellie Cornell and Danielle Harris both absolutely kill it as the two leads as they were believable and you got behind them. Kills were awesome and varied like they often are in a Halloween movie but this one had unique great ones visually like the truckers face being ripped off. The story builds strongly as it takes you step by step through everything to the end. The climax was badass from our heroine Rachel and the shootout that believably could have ended Michael Myers if they wanted to but of course the studio would never want to kill him off fully. What the new director and new people on Halloween 5 did can easily go down as the worst case of a sequel spitting in the face of it's predecessor in history.
I don’t care what anyone says, this is in my opinion the last real good Halloween film
it captures the right atmosphere of the first 2, it has the horror of the unstoppable evil,
every time Loomis describes Michael as what he is, evil’s avatar on earth is amazing and Donald Pleasance is a class act the whole way through
Also having scream queen Danille Harris here too is great.
H20 was pretty good too but it was very Scream influenced
Yes. She was in that DCOM. She was also in Don't Tell Mom The Babysitters Dead, and a ton of other stuff. I remember seeing her in episodes of Rosanne as well.
Can’t forget The Wild Thornberries!
Or “Urban Legend.”
Boy Meets World
Don't tell mom the babysitters dead will always hold a special place in my heart. She needs to do a reaction video to that one ✨
And she was also on The Conner's, recently. Danielle Harris.
Your scream when the guy got his face ripped off was everything. Can't wait till you watch the other movies. Please continue the nightmare series.
LMAO IT WAS SO GREAT
I showed my mother your reaction to the first Halloween, and she immediately took a liking to you. Now she's always asking when you'll post another Halloween reaction because she's always watching your reactions to the first and second Halloween movies (she refuses to associate with anything that has to do with the third movie).
😂🙏🏾 tell mama I said hi and thank you!!
@@AlandaParker I did, she got all smiley and giddy.
So Danielle Harris (Jamie Lloyd the little girl) was in “Wish Upon A Star” with Katherine Heigl. She’s also been in…
Halloween 5
Rob Zombie’s Halloween Movies as Annie, Laurie’s Best Friend
Hatchet 2 & 3 plus the Victor Crowley movie that takes place after as the main final girl Marybeth
Plus, there is a crap ton of Horror Movies that she’s done. She’s become the ultimate Scream Queen. With this being her first.
She was also on the Roseanne show as the neighbor girl Darlene didn't like.
She also was cast in a episode of Charmed as a troubled young witch. She was working 💪
She’s also voice of Debbie in The Wild Thornberries and an entire episode of Charmed in the first season
She was also in Urban Legend
I think she was in Boy Meets World as well…
A fun fact about Lindsey Wallace is that she was portrayed by (in the first film) future Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards, who reprized the role in the 2021 sequel to the 2018 reboot. It's kinda fabulous having a real housewife running around having to deal with Michael Myers lol.
and she does a great job in it
Danielle Harris popped in a lot of shows and movies after her 2 Halloween movies, including Roseanne, Boy Meets World, Free Willy and a few others before her resurgence in the horror genre later on in life with her brief role in Urban Legend and later on in Rob Zombie's Halloween
And Charmed!
Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead
@@laalaag2auntyayag776 I totally forgot about that and I even have that one on DVD.
The Halloween movie that was filmed in 2018 was filmed at my dad’s shop for the gas station scene. The bathroom in the movie isn’t the one from his shop though. He was paranoid that people were going to think that he kept the bathroom from the shop in horrid shape! 🤣 Danny McBride and Jamie Lee Curtis were there when filming. It was super cool. A lot of scenes from that movie were filmed in North Charleston, SC and Hanahan, SC which is where the shop is. AND I do love that movie Wish Upon a Star! She is the little sister from that movie 😊
I went to that gas station when I drove through Charleston to check out filming locations. I asked to use the bathroom but the kind lady in front said they didn’t have any lol. Pretty cool
"WHEEEE!" OMG I'm dead. 🤣 Alanda, you crack me up to no end with your reactions. This one was especially fun!
Part 6 is one of my favs, once you get to it. You'll either love it or hate it.
"Double scoops, ASAP!" -Ms. Parker 😂
You nailed that “Wish Upon A Star” movie because I knew her face and knew she was in other things but I completely forgot about her in Wish Upon A Star… and I seen that movie a few months ago lol
I love that movie! Also the soundtrack for that one 😅
The thing I remember most from that movie is Katherine Heigl's character calling her boyfriend a sick puppy and dumping him for no reason because her friend group had a rule saying they could only date someone for a certain amount of time.
"How does H20 fit into this?" Funny you should ask because there are 3 different continuities that spread out from the original Halloween, as well as Halloween 3 Season of the Witch being it's own thing and Rob Zombie's remake and it's sequel also being their own thing.
Timeline 1
Halloween(1978) Halloween 2(1981) Halloween 4 Return of Michael Myers(1988) Halloween 5 Revenge of Michael Myers(1989) Halloween Curse of Michael Myers(1995)
Timeline 2
Halloween(1978) Halloween 2(1981) Halloween H20(1998) Halloween Resurrection (2002)
Timeline 3
Halloween(1978) Halloween (2018) Halloween Kills (2021) Halloween Ends (2022)
Timeline 2 minus resurrection is the best to me
@@kaimosley6296 right basically a perfect trilogy
This movie is the “Friday the 13th-ing” of the Halloween franchise. The last time we saw Michael Myers in 1981 Jason didn’t even have his hockey mask yet. And in between 1981 and 1988 they released a new Friday the 13th movie every year. And those Jason kill counts kept rising and the creativity of the kills kept rising. Those were things the 1st two Halloween movies didn’t worry about but with those Friday the 13th movies making a lot of money and now audiences were expecting it. So this Halloween movie feels less like the original and more like a Jason movie that takes place in the suburbs rather than the woods.
This is one of my favorite sequels. I like it a lot better than part 2 actually. Daniel Harris is great as Jamie and really carried this movie. Her and Rachel are a good team too. Plus this is one of my favorite endings. Something so powerful having Jamie in that clown costume covered in blood just like Michael at the beginning of the original. It rocks
Great points & one could argue that they had already done that with Part 2 because they were pressured into increasing the gore and violence in that one because of the way the original Friday the 13th and all the other bloody Halloween rip offs flooded the horror market in the early 80s
"Thank you, double scoop, ASAP!!!" That had me rolling!
I think the opening credits in this one might just be my favorite of all these movies
Man her reaction to Micheal ripping out that drivers throat was peak comedy and an amazing reaction.
Danielle Harris is the name of the little girl, she was in that movie Wish upon a star, she was also in Rob Zombie’s Halloween and in Urban Legend. She is kind of a cult figure among the horror fans.
rachel and jamie’s dynamic is for sure my favorite part of this one! let us all manifest an A Quiet Place reaction soon!

This Halloween was actually my favorite growing up. I looked like Jamie and family and friends would make jokes about Michael coming to get me lol because they knew how big of fans my mom and I were. I was literally terrified of people who dressed up like Michael for Halloween because I thought they were after me lmao
I scared the life out of a teenager who was trying to scare my aunt during trick or treating because I burst into tears, I had the entire neighborhood and my family trying to calm me down. The teen had to pull his mask off and everything, I remember he had shaggy dirty blonde hair
"Michael ain't never left a puppy alive." lol well he might have a mutual respect for the doberman in the alley of part 2 😁
Watching this finally at 4:05am Monday morning after a night shift on the coast of south east Ireland 🇮🇪, love your reactions .
Alanda: "Why are there so many photos of Lincoln on the wall?"
Remember, this takes place in and around Haddonfield, Illinois. Illinois was the home state of Lincoln.
Michael's niece had such a troubled life.
Omg so happy that you are finally experiencing the final girls in Rachel and Jamie! After watching how you reacted with Andy in Child's Play, I knew you needed to meet Ms. Jamie Lloyd. And I certainly hope this is not the final Danielle Harris (Jamie) horror flick you enjoy. Have so many recommendations for you!
The entire sequence of the medics leaving in the rain is fantastic! Also, Rachel was a real one!
This franchise has 4 timelines
1 to 6 follows Laurie, then Jamie then Tommy
Then it reboots itself where the first 2 happened but not 4 5 and 6
Then the Rob zombie movies
Than it reboots again (David Gordon green) where only the first happened and it's 40 years after in 2018
To clear up any Jamie Lee Curtis confusion:
--She was probably too busy with her more mainstream movie career...I think "A Fish Named Wanda" came out the same year as this.
--I believe it's said somewhere that Laurie & Jimmy (yayyy nice guy from "Halloween II") died in a car accident...which is why Jamie is now adopted.
***Fun fact: Jamie is named after Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie said she wasn't interested in doing anymore Halloween movies but that the H20 check and the storyline convinced her to come back. She said she was glad her character died at the beginning of Halloween resurrection and said she would never play the role again ..but twenty years later lol another fat check was offered 🤣
@@kaimosley6296 She wanted to die in Resurrection because they also lied to her that Michael would definitively die at the end of H20- which was a big reason she agreed to do the movie in the first place, along with the big fat check of course

And hey, I'd move to Haddonfield for one of those houses at the price of a pinto! And every year, say... last week of October, I'd be taking my happy ass on a 2-week vacation on the other side of the country.
I remember when I first saw this movie when I was... around 9 or 10, and when I asked what happened to Jamie, he said: Michael's evil infected her when she touched his hand. Seemed as good an explanation as any.

Yes she play in “Wish upon a star” she was the little sister that switched bodies with the big sister after making a wish to a shooting star☀️
WISH UPON A STAR!!!! Girl you just shocked my nostalgia back to life.
Halloween 4 was my favorite of the original sequels. The ending is one of the best in the series. It was so shocking the first time I saw the film.
Omg!!! Honestly this and Halloween 5 are among the best for me. Jamie was such a great little scream queen and the fact that she appears in a later Halloween is cherry on top for me☺️
She’s one of the highlight of the Rob Zombie Halloween films for me as well. She did a great job in this movie, and the next, especially when you take into account how young she is here.
4/5 are my favorite...parts of 6 are really good too if you look past some of it's more glaring flaws
Did I just spot another person who appreciates Halloween 5? Idk there’s something about 5 that I love. I think it’s the films ability to go from being quotable to batshit (dr.loomy and kids in this movie….. 😳), and to terrifying. So, basically there is a multiverse of Michael Myers where sequels are ignored/never happened in other sequels.
1st Timeline - Halloween 1-6
2nd Timeline - Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, Halloween: Resurrection
3rd Timeline - Halloween, Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills (2021), Halloween Ends (2022)
Then, the two Rob Zombie remakes, which are pretty much gruesome, but you get some origin on Michael and what led to his madness.
I can’t with that Wheeee! when Rachel hits him with the truck! I’m laughing so hard I’m crying!!!!!
This made my day. Amazing reaction. I love this trilogy 4, 5, 6( Producer's cut)
There's 3 timelines with Halloween.
1. Halloween 78, Halloween II, Halloween 4, Halloween 5 and Halloween 6(4,5 and 6 also known as the Thorn trilogy which they'll explain as you go on)
2. Timeline 2 is Halloween 78, Halloween II, H20, Halloween Resurrection(this timeline ignores H4, H5 and H6)
3. Third timeline Halloween 78, Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends
4. Forth which technically isn''t a timeline but more of an alternate universe/vision entirely done by Rob Zombie Halloween and Halloween II where Michael is more grounded and entirely different backstory than the Carpenter verse or Thorn version of Michael.
Halloween 3 ignores all of them though there are nods in some of the movies to hint that they're in the same universe.
This reaction is killing me 😂😂😂😂 “how can his knobby looking fingers rip an entire face off”
When I’m in a funk, I come back to rewatch old videos. Makes me feel happy. It’s like watching with a friend
This made mine and my mom’s day. The halloween franchise runs through my family’s veins at this point. I came out watching it lol. Every year up until the “VID” , my family goes to the neighborhood to trick or treat where the original film was filmed. Probably too much for most people but, we love it that much.
I loved this movie so much when I first saw it, and I still do. It was actually the first one I watched in the series, so I liked it more than the others. Rachel was a great character all the way around and Jamie was so innocent. They both have that survival instinct. I won't spoil 5 or 6 for you.
Michael’s teleportation powers are at a all time high in this movie!! lol
Never saw this movie before and I've been an undercover viewer of this channel.. So many parts of this movie reaction had me laughing my behind off. I had to subscribe. Your comedic timing is incredible.
This is tied for my favorite movie of the franchise along with the original. Danielle Harris gives the best performance of this entire franchise for me. One of my favorite things about your videos is seeing where you recognize certain actors from. Like When you saw Sho'Nuff and said that's Angela's daddy from Boy Meets World. I wasn't expecting Wish Upon a Star for Danielle Harris. I know her from this, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Roseanne, and she played Harley Keiner's sister TK on Boy Meets World.
When I was little and saw this I was like "how the f**k is Micheal Myer's and Loomis alive? They got vaporized at the end of part 2". This was the era where Mike went from just a big goon with mad ree ree strength to an undead reanimated via magic of some kind, similar to Jason Voorhees
I’ll always be a little mad that Jamie didn’t continue being the killer from this point on in the series. The twist of that final scene is incredible and powerful. If you really want the darkest timeline headcanon, just go through Halloween 1 and 2, then end it at 4.
Thank you so much for returning to Halloween films!!!! I can't wait to see a few more with you.
I'm so glad you're watching this crazy sequel, taking 10 years to the Michael Myers slaughtered a lot of teenagers on Halloween night, 1978.
Hi Alanda! I never leave youtube comments, but I just wanted to say how much your videos bring me joy. If I'm having a rough day I will rewatch them and laugh like I'm watching it for the first time. Sundays are my least favorite day of the week, but I like them a lot more now thanks to you. Random question, but what are the titles of the books behind you? I think I recognize Harry Potter. Also if you like podcasts you should check mine out. Would love to know what you thought. It is called "What in the Millennial? With Christie and Daniel." And if I had to suggest a movie...🤔...Insidious ( I have a major Patrick Wilson crush) and/or Sleepaway Camp 2 & 3. They're so bad that they become the best again lol

I still love this ending! It was shocking when it came out, and it still gives me a chill.
