The One, in Bel Air, has all of those and more - and is currently the most expensive mansion in America. In my opinion, it should be called "Number One," because the amenities I've listed are just the tip of the iceberg. I've seen mansions and palaces all over the world - but nothing tops what lies inside this palatial estate in the City of Angels.

lazer tag, arcades, batting cages, bumper carts, go karts, mini golf, movie theatre, bowling alley, throw in an amusement park with roller coasters and a zoo, a gym, and a basketball court too. 350,000,000 and they have stuff anyone can do for under 10 dollars. Genius use of the funds!

@Chris Williams Modern architecture, especially on this scale, often comes off as cold to many people. For me while the place is clearly designed more for giants I would love to see more wood in the structure like hard wood floors in some rooms or maybe change out the library and office space to have wood floors and walls. Something that cuts cold feeling I get from the rest of the house.
I agree. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy this. You can only be at one place at once. This shit is just dumb and will sit on the market for a while more than likely.

It is impressive but doesn't seem the sort of place most people would actually want to live in.
Crap like this shouldn't even be allowed to be built by city authorities. As far as I'm concerned, the limit should be 20,000 square feet, and even that is pushing it. If someone can't be happy with that or much less, then my suggestion would be for them to crawl out of their own ass.

The city would not let the developer to build a helipad, he tried very hard to get the approval. I think it's because a lot of high profile neighbors don't want't to be bothered by the noise.

Nile has deep pockets by the sounds of things, but he has bitten off more than he can chew with 'the one' development, coming to market now is bad luck timing considering that there are really only maybe 100-150 individuals who would part with that type of money on the planet, and 'normally' they wouldn't be at the residence part of the year. A bit of hindsight capital here, but had the project been finished 2-3 years ago, someone like Bezos would have picked it up, sadly for Nile in '21' I can't see it shifting for over 300 or even 280. Perhaps this is 'The One' you want to avoid! Lots of respect John, looking forward to your next video content.

@@ThisisJohnWilliams Hi John, yes I agree with you, they might be more discreet in their property purchases than how Nile would have envisaged a big ticket item for them in that which he's created with 'the one', an example is Bernard Arnault, owner/Chairman of LVMH, the definitive luxury company, his residence purchases in LA have tended not to exceed to far beyond the 30 million range & this is '18 prices, whereas Bernard's retail real estate investments in B-Hills reflect the same asking price that Nile Niami is looking for in his residential listing. So yeah I think your right, its 18 months too late for Nile. The new normal is reinforcing the global top 100s shrewd business sense.
I had a friend that came from an extremely rich family, she showed me her brother's new $30 million yacht. She saw my expression and said defensively, "well he got got it used so it was discounted" then giggled hysterically. Apparently he wanted the $50 million version; poor guy.

I would change it into a private resort for people that want that optimum experience.
Probably will be what ends up happening. I don't forsee this house changing hands and ownership too often and remaining a profitable investment.

Beautiful house. Totally over the top but that is the idea. I moved into my mansion two years ago. Frankly, it feels a bit too big some days. It turns out that when fantasy becomes reality, it is not always the way we expect. But some people certainly don't mind owning a home this massive. The logistics of day to day maintenance alone gives me a head ache. There are parts of my house that I have not been to in weeks if not months and the mere thought of it is stressful. That is the reality of over the top homes. The mere thought of keeping an eye on every aspect of your property suddenly becomes a lot of work. Still, this house is beautiful and massive and I am sure that there are people who don't mind living in and maintaining a home this colossal.
