The Biggest Mansions In America - Развлечения
Here I live in less then 500 sq ft. But after having lived on the street for a few years it feels like a mansion to me.
I live in a 1655’ foot home I Payed in for and a I have full garage
Hello Debbie. How's Harry?
good for you bro
🙏🏽
Me too!
Biltmore of course, I live in North Carolina and the mountain views would be phenomenal!!!
They’re amazing!💗
I’ve been to Biltmore estate and it’s amazing!
I'm dying to go to the Biltmore
I agree I would LOVE to live in the Builtmore
Okay, that grand hall with the 60-person dining room... WOW!!!! 70 foot ceilings? I just couldn't imagine!!! And I love the triple fire place and the PIPE ORGAN!!! What a dream house!!!!
I've been to Biltmore House on several occasions and I would go again! GW Vanderbilt once owned 125,000 acres. Today it's about 5500 acres. The family still owns Biltmore House.
I’ve visited Biltmore. Of course, I only live about an hour and 10 minutes away in South Carolina. They have wonderful tours, self guided tours and now offer an architectural tour which is what I’m interested in these days. But the true beauty of Biltmore? Christmas. There is absolutely no other time to see it, truly!
I have lived in NC my whole life and Biltmore is insane, you have to go once in your life just to see what "wealth" looked like back in the day. Truly the 8th wonder of the world, but you need like a week to see it all.
Julian - Hearst Castle in California is another one for the bucket list.
Yes because it has a huge lawn and there is winery and others others and restaurants
Got to visit Biltmore last Christmas. Truly spectacular!
No different than how our rich rulers live today.
Think about the 400 to 500 ft mega yachts with over 45,000 sq ft of space with 2 helicopter pads then their Boeing jumbo jets to get around and those are just their toys.
@@bryanrendleman2001 Still doesn't compare to the 175,000 sq ft of Biltmore, I'm telling you, this place is jaw dropping. Visit at Christmas, if there's one place Santa will be, it's here!
Biltmore took 6 years to construct from 1889 to 1895. It is still owned by Vanderbilt decendants. It was originally built on 125,000 acres. The home, artwork, and furnishings are valued at more than $1.5 billion dollars! George Washington Vanderbilt, the original owner and brainchild of Biltmore, started the US Forest Service with Gifford Pinchot and helped start the USDA.
1899 to 1895. It is very special, to be built by time travelers. :)
@@HooDatDonDar NICE CATCH!
RINDERCELLA SLOPPED HER DRIPPER... THANKS!
I actually live in Asheville where the Biltmore is, and it’s absolutely stunning. It’s actually not too far from the downtown.
BILTMORE ESTATE would be my choice...I love its massive size, the huge verdant lawns and beautiful trees, the lake, pond, swimming pools and most of all THAT 20000 BOOK LIBRARY, I’d just hibernate in there and READ ALL DAY EVERYDAY😍 I can imagine just how refreshing it is to run/jog/walk/cycle in the forest on those beautiful summer mornings/evenings...I LOVE BILTMORE❤️❤️✌🏿🇿🇦
My house is bigger than 3 of them put together
The only problem is that I can only go there when I'm asleep
XD Ah, to dream.
Now that's funny..well dream on
MARVELLOUS IFEZUE mr luxury has never been to any of these locations he’s a liar
Make the dream come true
Gold ! Lol
That Biltmore house is insane...😎👌
Insanely gorgeous (!) and at the time unique because Vanderbilt himself was interested in forestry and agriculture and used the grounds and groves as experiments.
I’d like to have this guy describe my two bedroom, one bath house. Lol with a dash of sarcasm this could be comedy gold.
I actually found these gargantuan homes stunning, for what they were. The Biltmore Estate is magnificent. I personally would hate living in them full time, but spending a nice vacation with family/friends in any of these would be great.
and during that vacation time u will make new ghost friends too👌 .. jokes apart I find them stunning too.

The Biltimore is an amazing place to visit. They have some really nice souvenir stores on site too.
All 3 are beautiful. 🌹
Much Appreciation !!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was at a wedding at Oheka. It is stunning to say the least. I love it!! I have visited Biltmore on several occasions. You think; oh just another mansion. The walk up to the home is incredible. I walked the gardens, I cannot tell you the feeling, glamour, serenity it has to offer. If you are going, enjoy yourself!
Oheka Castle is opened to public, we went there for lunch, and met with the owner of the castle, super nice guy... I recommend everyone to go for a visit if you are near Long Island NY.
Imagine playing hide and seek in one of these
Hide. Never seek
I would give up after checking the first floor lol
Or Marco Polo😏

Ummm. I tjink we would be there for a long time...
Visited Biltmore 30 years ago. This home is truly enormous and has a lived in feeling. Just imagine living in this house takes a vivid imagination. It is French Chateau in every aspect. Beautiful home and furnishings. Napoleons chess set is on a table. It is worth visiting and I have always wanted to visit at Christmastime.
Visited several years ago at Christmas. It was great.
Biltmore No. 1....Loved those scenes that were filmed in the house for the movie Hannibal!!!....
Love the Biltmore estate! Have been there many times, in fact have in the passed purchased annual passes! Enjoyed every second, purchased passes for family and friends as well! Adrian
Jane
Biltmore is still owned by the Vanderbilts. The current owner is William Cecil Vanderbilt.
Doesn't the gvmt own it?
@@shebastinson7813 No. The Biltmore estate was inherited by the two brothers (grandsons) of the builder. One took the land (approximately 8000 acres) and the other took the house and estate surrounding it (a few hundred acres).
@@shebastinson7813 parts of the house are not open to the public the private residence
No it' George Vanderbilt grandsons that own it
Got it wrong.... It's William Amherst Vanderbilt CECIL. George Vanderbilt had one child, a daughter who married a Cecil. So really it's in the Cecil family.
I don’t need sleep. I need to see homes I will never afford.
But God can afford them. In heaven, the mansions are nicer than that. It will be beyond our imaginations. JESUS said, "In my Father's house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you. So that where I am, there ye may be also." amen. Believe and Receive JESUS. God has sent him to save you and me from our sins. He is the way to the Father and heaven.
If you sleep you might just be able to own this home...
We live in N C born here and every few years go visit Biltmore house always see something different ,
@@gladysbaker5567 I live in Asheville
@@sambro4253 same. Never been to Biltmore tho
One correction, albeit a point likely important only to myself: Biltmore's Library holds more than 25,000 volumes. And it's breathtaking. For anyone wanting to visit, go at Christmas. Trust me. It's one of the most beautiful places on Earth. You can thank me later.
Oh yes Christmas at Biltmore
Best time to give your energy to the powers that be.
It’s truly my favorite room.
The Biltmore is amazing to visit. It is a great experience.

Very very nice I love all the information and the indoor gardens fireplaces, & spiral staircase. Thank you so much.
Definitely the Vanderbilt house. I have taken the tour and it is absolutely breathtaking.
Biltmore Mansion was used as Richie Rich’s house in the movie
Nice fun fact
It was also used in the Shirley MacLaine/Peter Sellers film BEING THERE. I highly recommend the film and not just for the house. It's a wonderful thought provoking film.
Good vid Mr. Luxury and of course I would live in the one with the golf course. Cheers and be safe my friend. Happy 4th.
I've Enjoyed Watching This..!!! Well Put Together.
ive gone to the biltmore and its just so huge it has downplayed every other mansion or historical home i have ever been to
They're all cool in their own way. I think it's interesting that almost every mansion has a bowling alley, but I never see rich, fancy people in public bowling allies. Maybe they were just incognito.
WOOOOOOOOOOW FABULOUS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING US 🤗💫🌏
The Biltmore is my choice and in my state! Visits are inevitable! Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely magnificent ! If I had to choose just one home I would have to choose the Biltmore estate. That is if I HAD TO CHOOSE ONLY ONE!!! But if the sky was the limit I would certainly choose both.
The Biltmore Castle is exceptionally beautiful and mind blowing
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING US 💙💫🌏
I would live in any one of them and I would be more than excited!🥰😍❤️
Loved this Video MR.LUXURY😁🥰
Top-Notch Video!!! 👍👌 Love your content! 😀
I'm so feel so happy, grateful, richest and luxury life. Thank you very much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Wow ! They appear to be the Loira valley in France !... I didn’t know there were these kind of castles in America ! Wonderful !!
Some one give the man beer!
Good job mr! Thank you for your time and have a great day!👠👍.
vanderbilt's homes in Newport, RI are
really nice to look up Newport mansions and take a tour when safe to do so
Biltmore for me! ❤️ that piece of heaven!
can't even imagine how it feels like living inside those mansions.
It gets lonely. I live in a 28k sqft mansion
@@iankohen1876 must be hard lmao I think sub 15,000 is good
I'd sure Love to find out though!
@@iankohen1876 do you need a companion sir?😁
@@iankohen1876 you got a dog
The only problem with those mansions you have to hire a lot of people to maintain it. Good by privacy in your own home.
At Oheka, a train would bring the 160 workers to the tunnels under the Castle and would leave at the end of the day. And when they are there, they're rarely seen because of all the hallways behind the walls.
An idea got from castles in Europe. They often had a ‘system’, a network of small passages that connect to most of the House so that servants can appear and disappear.
Anyway, if you have a big house, you have staff. Who can do all the work himself?
Those rich enough can afford through vetting of servants.

I can hardly wait to move to a crib two times bigger than my current crib in months! It's north-northeast (NNE) of where I live! Schemed is the design. To be made is a few differences. Not yet executed is the construction. I'm so happy to see the new real estate!
Cornelius Vanderbilt ll was George Vanderbilt's brother, and the grandfather of Gloria Vanderbilt, Anderson Cooper's mother. Cornelius and George were grandsons of railroad and shipping magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt.
I’ve been there, very beautiful garden
So inspiring video.

Biltmore is the one I would like
I from N.C but have not been able to see it.
I really want to tour it.
I would like to see all of Biltmore from bottom to top. All the secure rooms .
Thank you for the video,
Judi
Beautiful !!
WOW! Aquarium, I want to build mine too..
I have toured this home 3 times, I enjoyed the drive to the mansion more than than the mansion. The grounds are breathtaking.
Hello
I would live in the Biltmore.
It is big enough that you would probably not
get tired of it and with all the land around, there
would be a lot of things to enjoy. Also ,you could
share it with your friends and loved ones and give them
forever suites to live in or visit as they choose.
I think sharing a House that size would be part of the
fun of having it.
I would let you have a suite there Mr.Luxury. You
seem very nice and I would enjoy hearing you talk
at Dinner. Lol.

I live a short drive to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC. I have visited there many times. I would love to go back in history and be a guest! It’s amazing!
Hello how are you doing?

I only watch this kind of mansions in the movies but it be more admired in the no.1 it’s all amazing the entire of this mansion inside n out,,really fantastic
I visited Biltmore in 1984. Just like the Grand Canyon, photos don't do it justice. You have to see it to believe it. Amazing.
Beautiful house ,soo lovely 😍😍😍
Would love to live in one of these especially during lockdown!

Went to the Biltmore in 2011, It was awesome to see !!!
Hello dea
Whos here before 1 million views?
Me
Me
Me too.
I am quite familiar with the estate in Suffolk county. I delivered nursery trees and bushes for this home owner. It also has a separate energy grid. It's currently for sale. But New York is no longer a desired location.
I've been to the Biltmore several times. Simply exquisite! You forgot to mention the winery there too. I highly recommend a visit there once this pandemic goes away.
Its 2023 and the pandemic is still here. It's not going no where because people are still gettin coronavirus.
Wow, that is interesting!
Very Beautiful luxury mega mansion home
Wow amazing.
Beautiful
Wonderful
Nice love big houses
Very Nice.!!!
Super cool
Went to the Biltmore on vacation it is amazing!
Man I want the last mansion I could explore that for years I would like to have it.😁
My dad ancestors sold 92 family properties for this man to have gardens, forest plus home. Reynolds gossip was the man came from same family tree which Abraham Reynolds helped another man have sons. My fraternal grandmother was Reynolds Bonham Brown from a son of Abraham.
The Biltmore is Gorgeous home., 🙌🙌👏🤝🤝🌟🤩💡🤔
Definitely the Biltmore Estate is where I would choose to live.
Imagine living in the biltmore estate all by yourself
Imagine all that time exploring the estate as a child growing up. Must be magical.
@@t5239857289578947594 Then imagine finishing exploring the house when you're 35.
Scary!!!!
Of fraud of 4o yrs
That's why nz off to airport. And Lee is still in nz Hamilton.
I love it
Beautiful Palace
So cool
Thanks !!!!!!!!!
Biltmore is amazing. Go all the time!
Nice Video!
Beautiful house
Great ❤️♥️
Very nice home
You forgot about the onsite winery at Biltmore.
These homes were absolutely stunning. But my tastes tend to be a bit more modern. I'll take Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater anyday!
In the linen laundry there are slide frames for hanging bed linens. Slide out to hang a sheet, slide in where there is a heat source. There is a laundry for delicates.
There was a glass in the walls office for the person who I will call kitchen recordkeeper..
The winter garden they showed has a passageway underneath so staff were not carrying watering cans etc through the guest hallways
The dining hall with the triple fireplaces are much larger than shown. My memory is each could hold a 6, 8, 10 foot tree trunk. My memory is 38 years old but I have a vivid memory of being stunned by their immense size. The other two walls were hung with large tapestries or embroideries.
Before I tell you twp last things you can tell how impressive it was because nearly 40 years later I'm still impressed with the details.
Two last things. The indoor swimming pool was flanked by rows of dressing rooms, male on one side, female on the other. The dressing table had a silver brush set.
The video did not mention the furniture. Outside the men's smoking room was Napoleon's desk. There were items from the Louis' and other royal and important pieces of furniture.
One more thing. Asheville is on a ley line.
The Arden House - i like it more than the others...hey Mr. Luxury
Love Love The Biltmore estate
"I wonder who owned that" then I heard Vanderbilt ahh makes sense.
I'd rather have this guys voice over any of the houses shown.
I saw this house in the movie Richie rich
