Maad respect for you friend, never once did i hear say anything negative about the CVT in the Sentra, thats a good auto journalist you are. NISSAN CVTs since 2018 to present are improved.......
Yeah even the CVT in my 2019 Versa has been better than in my 2014 Sentra which started having CVT issues at 76,000 miles and gave out completely at 159,000 miles. My ‘19 Versa transmission has been doing pretty good and it has 112,000 now.
Your way of filming the video is very helpful as it is filmed from the driver's perspective. This is because I can see how the front and rear can be seen from the driver's seat.
@DMCarReviews I'm going next week to buy one msrp is $27,225 I got them down to $26,100. It's fully loaded do you think that's a good price or would I be able to get a loaded Civic for that price? Problem is trying to find a orange one most dealership have alot of the blue, white and gray.
love this thing. thinking about getting one with the premium package in orange/ black. love that color combo. a little worried about the lower horsepower, but honestly, i don't drag race. other than the turnpike, I rarely travel over 50.. .

This car looks very good, drives nices, is efficient enough but I just feel the chasis and suspension are just capable of so much more, more power, better suspension tuning.... maybe nobody cares about that, I just feel this could be a real sport compact, like Nissan used to do with the SE-Rs of the past.
Thanks for sharing this test drive! Is it normal for the ignition switch to blink after you cut the car off? Do you think this car fully loaded is worth 30k?
@@DMCarReviews I was referring to the SR premium package. Also, the buttons are illuminated but when I turn the car off, the ignition switch blinks. I was just wondering if all did that.
If you want a turbo engine buy the Altima, what the Sentra need is a hybrid version and a manual version but most Americans dont want manual gearbox especially on slower vehicles like the Sentra.......
@@crow_2k11beatsbydre8 That’s My Opinion. I Don’t Want A Sentra I Drive A Z🤣. It Was A Suggestion. And Nobody Drives Manuals Anymore Hence Why They Automakers Rarely Make Them. If You Want A Hybrid Go Buy A Corolla Or Prius.

I’d take this over the Civic I’d take the SI over this tho (if money was not a factor). I wish Nissan put a small turbo on this. Maybe. Like a special Nismo trim, to compete with the SI.
I like everything about these except......IT HAS NO POWER. Nissan could consider to give this car a 2.0 200HP regular Turbo engine and not the newest 2.0 VC Turbo garbage.
@@DMCarReviews When you consider the competition like Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla, etc. those models come with optional engines of at least 170HP - 200HP. Mazda's 3 now comes with 191HP. You rolled into the throttle that's why it fake shifted. If you're going 2 brake tq it then slam your foot fast down on the gas and don't give it some throttle then all throttle just flat foot it. That's the only way

The cvts are way better I agree.
I appreciate you saying that! I think it's strongly improved and feels pretty good to me. Definitely way more responsive than the Aisin 8 Toyota uses.
@@DMCarReviews yeah that 8 speed and it’s long ratios and lack of responsiveness reminds me of a 5 speed auto from 2010. Kind of sad.
