This would be unenforceable. Its a physical item which comes with a code. By that logic if someone was to get a first edition charizard and sell it because it was a special edition would I be banned?
I remember seeing Chinese gold farmers in Vanilla with the Eye of Shadow equipped in one trinket slot and Lion Horn of Stormwind in the other slot. True statement of fashion. This was when gold sellers were played by genuine people with a pulse! xD
I got the miner hat drop running Uldaman in SoD, I didn't know it was so rare until after I sold it. It almost instantly sold on the AH for 75g
It's not that rare in SoD, what made it rare was the changes to ulda mob levels in cata. In classic the dungeon trash can still drop it.
Think it probably instantly sold because SoD is filled with RMT cucks so gold has no value
I see it on ah for more than 300gold, he disapear in less than 20 min the Time than i ask gold to a friend..
can't believe he didnt mention the special event that occurs if you wield Corrupted Ashbringer in SM Cathedral (well worth checking out).. extremely cool! And soooo much lore behind that weapon!

agree, that was great. i remember when i was playing gnome around loch modan and i saw undead rogue with unknown level how he just stealth-ed and was just gone, and i was just woow.
I still remember that moment, still almost after 20years. that was one of many magic moments, which wow unfortunately lost.
and of course i rerollled to horde immediately, did forsaken rogue played since than.
Getting rhok’delar on hardcore was a lot of fun, really unique quest! Wouldn’t say it’s overly difficult but there is a lot that can definitely go wrong :)
I still have my Murky from the first Blizzcon on my account I however used it on my rogue hah. Was funny to be stealthier and have him walking around with me like it’s a murloc just out in the world.

I remember back in the day, when I first heard about Uldaman and it's items.
I was broke so I spent nearly the whole month there, I came out with SOOO MUCH GOLD. I got extremely lucky, got a Miners Hat and a Fez. It was actually crazy, I had money in my Blizzard account for years because of that.
In classic I used to do the hunter quests for people on my hunter. If someone came and helped the boss would despawn but I think it was like if one hunter tagged it then the other did it then it worked. Can’t remember exactly but I did so many of those boss fights to help bad hunters lol
Nah only 1 character could do any DPS to the mobs, so you just need to get the hunter on the quest to talk to the NPCs to trigger their transformation then the “booster” just had to solo them :)
Still got my haunted momento, and Holding on to it reminds me off my old guild and how much fun we had, i am now 39😅 still play it from time to time doing some Dungeons and hording mounts but i am the only one left..dammm that where some awsome days back then😊
I found a broken item in the original TBC down in zangarmarsh, it was a nature protection ring and the stats were +0 nature protection.
Still got rhok delar on my hunter I found it so hard the quest at the time. And I vowed to never sell it. Still in my hunters bank in 2024!
Also great point about the world. I remember back in classic seeing a paladin running though goldshire with a charger mount and full tier 2, and I just thought wow this guy looks insane. Alot of thats gone now sadly, class quests were so cool. I hope them bring them back and make them hard!
I have it too on my hunter but i did it in TBC because in vanilla i was hardly raiding so i couldnt have gotten both items for the quest.
I transmogged my bow in BFA last when i was still casually playing my hunter. Couldnt transmog the staff since hunters cant use both melee and ranged weapons at the sametime anymore. :(
They will never make class quests hard again unfortunately... the current playerbase is allergic to anything challenging, thats why mythic raiding is dead too. But then again thats for a different reason. Still dead tho since casuals can just go do everything on easymode instead.
Getting rhok’delar on hardcore was the most fun I’ve had in wow in ages to be honest! Such a unique fun quest line and agree I wish we had a lot more of those in wow :(

There was an item that was given as a quest reward for paladins that was a boe weapon that didn't have a level requirement. I immediately sold it for like 3000g to someone else to use on their twink character.
This was vanilla wow btw.
I got a pendulum of doom during the legion expansion when they just made it obtainable again. Was worth 5m at the time lol.
it took me over 900 kills to get "the eye of the shadow" as prieist in classic. i literally opened up a thread on reddit r slash math for someone to calculate the propability

in order to buy the spectral tiger on a spot like yours maybe you can get it repacked so buying the pack with it does not involve buying the card lol

I have the murky pet in my account, it’s my prized possession, in the 20yrs I’ve played I’ve only seen 1 other murky in the game

No matter how convenient they are, they just ruined the entire feel of population in the game. I remember thinking this already in Lich King (since epic flying wasnt really a common thing in TBC).

I've seen Miner's Hat drop from mobs in Uldaman. Doesn't only come from the last chest. The only super in there I've not seen (there are 7), is the Spaulders of the Lost Age.
I've seen Jackhammer drop a couple times in the last few years.
Oh BTW I've been a gold farmer for the last three years. Up at something like 35 million atm, mostly from transmog or new release farms.

On my retail wow character 2005 I literally had DUAL felstriker on my rogue, but because my understanding of the game at the time was that swords > daggers for combat rogues (especially human), which is true… UNLESS you get TWO felstrikers, AND happen to also be using corehound gloves. My god the lost potential… I coulda been a pvp god rofl
And I couldn’t agree more about low and high level players seeing each other on a regular basis, that was always my motivation for PVE/raiding, to get those shiny nightslayer/bloodfang sets & equivalent swords ⚔️

The trading card game would be okay to purchase, the code is a promotion on the card and doesn't change the fact its perfectly legal to buy and sell wow trading cards in unused condition or less
How would they even be able to police it anyway since they surely don't have a track on the ownership of every wow trading card ? you would be fine xD

You said that in later expansions the high lvl ppl fly over and the world doesnt seem populated, but thats not correct. The world FEELS populated in the zones of new expansion where you CANNOT fly, and you doing dailies and stuff. but anyway..
Flying was the single worst thing that was implemented to WoW, killing open world feeling, roleplaying and open Pvp
Flying made environments so much cooler and more expansive. They always made you unlock flying once you levelled through the new zones

You are allowed to sell trading card codes. You own it so it is yours but getting something in game and sell it not allowed because Blizzard owns your character.
