Without token I wouldn’t play. Couldn’t even afford enchantments and I have a real life so I’m not farming stuff all day now. All I want to do is arena but to be competitive I need the enchants gems and other things. I see why it’s hated by some but I simply wouldn’t play if I can’t play pvp on even grounds.
The worst thing about wow is how all the classic players want to change retail into another version of classic. I love classic, especially HC but retail pvp is the only reason I play the genre at all.
I like Madseason and all, but I think he harps way too hard on the wow token and level boosts and paid cosmetics. WTH does he expect? It's a business ffs. What does he want blizzard to do? There are gold sellers, they can never get rid of them all, so they introduced a way to buy gold legitimately. I've never spent any money buying gold, I don't like that it inflates the economy, but I understand how it came to be. I don't get it, if he doesn't want to buy cosmetic things, then don't. I sure as hell don't. And the level boosts are there for new players to get into the new content so they can play with friends and what not. If they were forced to literally level through every expansion to get to the new content, it just wouldn't attract as many buyers of the game. It'd be a tedious journey that not many people would make.
Goldsellers create a market demand. Blizz notices and instead of banning buyers and sellers, makes a way for addicted buyers to give blizz more money and honest players now have a “great” economy :-) Leveling is long boring and tedious? Instead of making leveling fun so you can hook new players. Lets sell a boost cause we love money and so those new players can quit a week later being overwhelmed since they went from 5 buttons to 30 in an instant. Base game+xpacks and a monthly sub isn’t enough. Milking you suckers as much as they can
@@stupidnerd4427 Jesus Christ, who gives af about level boosts? It literally has no bearing on you whatsoever. Like I said, even xaryu has explained before that it's IMPOSSIBLE to stop every gold buyer. You think blizz makes decisions strictly to piss people off, and I say they make rational decisions based off of being a business. There's so much to pick apart from your statements, but I'm not going to argue further, waste of my time.
A lot of old school MMO players prefer a authentic experience disconnected from irl influence. Cool gear and mounts lose their value when you can buy them with money. The pleasure of earning gold also loses all its value when you can buy gold. There is a community of MMO players who find a lot of gratitude from making gold and farming cool looking mounts/gear, that’s why people don’t like the ability to buy things with real money. Blizzard could invest in eliminating most gold sellers and people who buy gold but instead of spending money to make a better game experience they decide to tarnish the game experience to make more money. It’s just a slap in the face to the community of players who enjoy the MMO mechanics around gold making and gear/mount farming.
I find it funny that people get so worked up about level boosts and the wow token. If you don't want to use these, then don't. I'm sure after levelling their 100th character or moving realm with a guild and you want to start over, then the option is there to level faster to reach current content. The token is 'meh' but so few people must use them or the economy would have tanked otherwise.
Any game or a sport and any challenge, it's about accomplishments. And once you can buy your accomplishments, you become a legal cheater The joy of having max leveled char ior bis gear or clearing highest difficulties isn't the same if every Joe can have the same feeling buy using a credit card.

Whats the problem about heirlooms? Overall i dont like heirlooms, but only because they are too strong. Are there any other bad things?
Just another system making the game far too easy
if they would be weaker, that wouldnt be a problem imo@@OnelastgoTV
I've never seen those Westfall zomboids !!!
