That's crazy I've seen quite a few of these botters playing shaman's and balance druid where they just move the character and the bot does the rotation interrupts etc. But I thought Blizzard said they were cracking down on this. Supposedly they banned a few thousand accounts a few months ago. I was sitting in front of org a few months ago and this 2600 resto shaman asks me to duel because he wants to test some things. so I accept and start damaging him on my priest. Anytime his windshear was up I was interrupted instantly I couldn't fake he would interrupt me the millisecond I casted. and whenever I dispelled his earth shield it instantly was reapplied. I honestly didn't question his interrupts at first I just figured he had faster internet and was just that good. But I questioned him on his instant reapplies of earth shield. He said oh its just an addon that applies my buffs for me. I told him there is no addon that applies your buffs for you that's a bot. I cant remember his name but I reported him I'm sure Blizzard didn't do anything about it.

Well tbf when it comes to things like botting Blizzard will never instant ban them bc it doesn't solve the issue. They're bot accounts. They'll just buy another or bypass it somehow. It doesn't solve the issue. And if they did instant ban it's easier for the cheaters to find out exactly what was suspicious/triggered the anti cheat. So instead Blizzard spends many patches fixing their gaps and the bypasses. Then mass bans all the bots so that it's harder for them to come back and debug exactly what tipped them off.

The bot disarmed because pika had blades up. The step kidney is only weird to be because the timing is so on the nose of when disarm ends. The focus attacks along with the instant timing on everything seal the deal for me. Otherwise it COULD be the guy just pre doing stuff. All of it together I think it's a script bot.

I think Pika's point was if that wasn't the alt of someone really good/well known then its super sus. Check PVP showing that rogue is duelist XP but he's timing everything perfectly to the millisecond. Duelist rogues don't play like that. Also if you look either of those dudes up in the Armory, neither of them are there. Really sus.
Well if they were there at this point. They'd be banned cuz pika so of course they chamged name. You could be a 1100cr player that pika just beat and if he said you were a cheater you'd stand a good chance of getting banned solo cuz pika has a huge audience. Everyone uses focus Kidney when using a off cc. I use focus step into focus interrupt. I also make a lot of my ability mouseover that way you only have to hover over gladius to hit them especially on casters
Some people I'd be a little hesitant to believe claims of cheating, but Pika is pretty consistent with acknowledging when he or his team as a whole were just outplayed. He isn't your typical "anyone that beats me must be cheating" type of person so I'm more inclined to believe his breakdown of it lol.
Blizzard literally added a feature where you can attack whoever is infront of you. So you could target another target and hit whatever is infront of you.
U can use shift mod macros to attack ur main target then hold shift and all your keys key binds will be use on focus target while u can still target main target
He could be playing with everything mouseover for some reason too, idk why you'd do that but you could. Maybe you do it just to throw off your opponent so they see you targeting something else and think they're safe.
I do this on my paladin so I can get repent off without having someone targetted. It's possible with the rogue as well. You can set a button to cast on your focusas well. Mine is Cntrl and ALT is self-cast.
Can we re address the attacking while targeting priest? Everyone automatically had it turned on in one of the recent patches where you will use harmful abilities if you are targeting a teammate who’s targeting enemy? Used it many times flash healing my teammate then just blasting onto their target

I was in the bg the other day A rogue jumps in a crowd of 10 ppl Cloak, stuns 2 healers, dances, garrotes 2 ppl off the stun, i wanted to stun off his cloak, so i start casting shadowfury a second before cloak ends, vanish step garrotes me insta pops evasion and proceeds to shit on everyone Does some more crazy shit and then steps his teammate and escapes I dunno if it was cheating or something But it was sure cool af seeing this dude 1v10
I like that you looked objectively at it. Despite the fact that hes probably 99.9% likely to be cheating you still err on whether its possible or not cause I think youre right on some cases. I could easily see a random Joe Schmoe 1600 rolling into disarm. Ai driven bots will be by far the best players in teams within a few years no if and or but about it. It wont just be AI running 1 character though they will be running the whole team.
Focus attacking Pika while targeting his partner might have been some mindgames, because sometimes the person might be staring at the healthbar at the top left and assume it's their own healthbar, and if they don't see that healthbar moving, they might think, oh this guy's not doing any damage to me, I'm fine, and then it takes them a second to realize oh, they're not targeting me they're targeting my partner, and my health IS actually going down. Or even just to confuse the guy like he confused Pika, and it might give him a split second edge, or a psychological edge, or he might have mixed up his focus macros somehow and had to improvise and just work with it. He also could have just hit the wrong buttons, panicked, or whatever. Hit Dismantle by accident. Hit step/kidney on party2 instead of party1 by accident. The trinket/vanish/sprint/kiting could have just been a gamble to take Pika by surprise for a split second, to buy himself another second before duel ended. He might have really just trusted himself to survive there by gambling a bit because maybe it worked for him in the past, going off script (maybe a stretch). Just throwing out ideas. Interesting video though.
but the rogue was doing his full dmg roatiot. If he swaps target to mage he will be out of range of the mage and unable to do dmg to pikaboo. Or the rogue would literally need to have 2 keybinds for every spell one for hitting his target and one for focus target

I ran into this “person” the other day in 2s at 2.3mmr. The new name was Thompson and had identical achievement dates. It was playing with a prevoker doing 84k dps….reported it 6 times; we went 1-5 and dropped almost 80 pts. GM messaged me back within 45 minutes and asked for feedback as to why and I referenced Pika’s video and then from my POV and XP - I have 4 glad titles so I’m not just casual or speculating. It was so disgustingly blatant. I wish PIka was tracking APM so you could see just how impossible what’s happening truly is, especially with server lag factored.

There is a addon/cheat that if their ping is lower than your is you use an interrupt or something like that. It’ll stop cast/use a CD if they have lower ping than you. Some of this looks like that.
No human being plays that perfectly with every single timing without being early on at least 1 pre defensive play. It's so obvious he is using that Scripting Bot that plays the game for you and all you have to do is move your character. Venruki showed and talked about it on his stream.

On check pvp you can hide your mains and only show one character’s exp. Everyone was doing that for the 0-Glad challenge. Not saying it’s true for this case but that argument doesn’t weigh much.

The roll the bones right as they see each other makes me think it's a script simply because it is the script beginning when it senses being in melee range. If they saw each other then a second later he rolled it'd be just an opener habit, but it went off the millisecond they went into melee range of an enemy. Then add in perfect timing on everything. I think that's what he meant by it being someone, if it was a smurf account for a multi glad it would some sense on the timings. I'm with Pika on this one, I think it is a person controlling the character movements, but with a play script. I'd bet this was actually the creator of a cheat bot/script testing it out live.
Pressing roll of the bones as u see the rogue on stealth is bad, also that disarm was trash same as the vanish on the duel, is kinda weird that ppl talk about things they dont have idea

I don't see how you'd be spamming Disarm if you've just gone past each other in stealth, unless you've got arena1/2/3 disarm you still have to target and disarm which is slower than a targetnearestenemy sap macro or trying to cheap shot. He was playing with a healer not a mage, and you can wait for the mage or immediately put pressure on the rogue. What do you think is going to change if you sap and wait for the mage to pop out of stealth rather than just going on the rogue when you get a chance? Opening with disarm means the sub rogue (pika) either has to trinket it, pop a defensive, vanish, or just stand there and take it.

half way through a video. may be pika is a bot? y the fuck would you burn your evasion on disarm? this fight is actually depicts reality, a problem with MMR system. there are ton of great players, stuck in 1600-1800 brackets, especially in SS. and when they just held by un natural sources down, by shit luck, but shit lobbies and etc. i took 6 classes to 1800 in season 2 (just do mogs), 4 this season so far. and i noticed the best games happen either in 1900 MMR lobbies (dont really go up higher but assume higher even better), or 1400, or lower mm brackets. the 1400-1800, is a total shit show. what happens in 1400 and lower, you can out skill and out gear (people not min maxed, or built wrong stats, or havent finished purple set yet). in 1900 mmr, everyone is min maxed, every one knows wtf is going on and plays are generally very similar and all comes down to who will have more fuck ups in their rotation, or their decision making and the higher the dumpening, the higher the mental pressure, the higher likelihood of people fking up under pressure. now 1400-1800, is a shit show. 50% lobbies, you end up having either 1 total dead beat, which makes everyone go 3/6 and gain no rating. or someone is like super good and carries the lobby gets 6/6 and than every one else gets 3/3 except healer, and 1 dps who get this guy 1 less time on their team than the other. the remaining 50% of lobbies, just stupid fk ups and pure luck. once you are out of this crab bucket into 1800+, you're actually solid to test your skill. Also, i did throw rating on healer once, to get fast conquest, for gearing. basically i afked lobbies, untill my MMR dropped to 700. at 700, mmr, 0 rating, it took 40+ mins to find a game as a healer. meaning there are no people playing there at all and system is so crap that it doesnt matches you with no one. system is eternally flawed. and only works well at 1900+ brackets.
btw if you wonder what happens in 700 mmr. once you burned all your free (inflated) mmr. you're back to square 0. you get 70 rating for 6/6 win and you lose 70 rating for 0/6 loss. for going 3/6 you get no rating. your MMR doesn't jump 200 or 300 points anymore, like in very beginning. you literally have to consistently go 4/6 or better, to climb. OUT OF 700 bracket! i dont think many people tested this. but MM system is not meant to calculate the low brackets like 700 correctly. and it doesnt do well at 1800 or lower. it only works in 1800+.

The reason he’s not targeting you is very simple and it’s not cheating the person you’re targeted on will show you where your shadow step is in range the second they get in range where is if he’s targeted on pica he cannot see this I do choose all the time I do the same thing I’m usually targeted on the person I’m not killing simply to be able to step kidney step sap step cheap shot whateverbut it shows you when your step is in range for the other target and you can hit it immediately rather than guessing if they’re close enough, you should use it. It’s a very good tactic.

the game has an auto target in options. its called enable action targeting. if you want to try it. ambush goes threw evasion. meld to stealth, subterfuge goes off and bte bte bte bte smurf pika dead.
I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he is a cheater, or that because his rating is low he is "bad" and shouldn't be able to beat someone with a higher rating. I used to play this game as enhancement shaman, stopped after shadowlands, but for me getting 2s and 3s was always a chore because nobody decent wanted to play with enhance. I could easily hang in the 2.2K brackets but to get that kind of rating I'd need a consistent team and that just didn't happen. I remember spending hours just finding teammates who would often bail after one loss even if we had a few back-to-back wins. The other thing is that I played with a gamepad and not keyboard, and since the gamepad has a few easily accessible keys I would use mod keys to access additional buttons in the same area of the pad. I also did use a lot of focus macros and had a lot of my damaging abilities on focus so I could quickly change targets without having to tab or click. Most people who weren't too egotistical to play with me would often comment at how surprised they are, "I thought enhance sucked" or "How did you do that" etc. Maybe he was cheating, maybe not. A lot of popular streamers cheat as well. But you can see the elitism and sense of entitlement that certain players cultivate simply because they ascribe a high rating to themselves being individually good...when in reality it is having reliable teammates who you can play with and get used to each other's styles.

I am a long time mage who recently started playing rogue. Came across pika and his viewer on our way to 1800. We smoked his viewer and had him down to 10%. He ended up 2v1ing us lol. BUT if we won, and he would have watched me on the rogue, he would have seen me do alot of things hes prolly never seen other rogues do. 😅😅 deff something weird going on with this rogue- i think his movement gives it away more than anything. Similar to how you could tell all those ele shamans scripting due to their movement and the need to keep jumping/moving.

Well the character no longer exists on check pvp so they've either hidden the profile or been banned/name swapped

That's crazy I've seen quite a few of these botters playing shaman's and balance druid where they just move the character and the bot does the rotation interrupts etc. But I thought Blizzard said they were cracking down on this. Supposedly they banned a few thousand accounts a few months ago. I was sitting in front of org a few months ago and this 2600 resto shaman asks me to duel because he wants to test some things. so I accept and start damaging him on my priest. Anytime his windshear was up I was interrupted instantly I couldn't fake he would interrupt me the millisecond I casted. and whenever I dispelled his earth shield it instantly was reapplied. I honestly didn't question his interrupts at first I just figured he had faster internet and was just that good. But I questioned him on his instant reapplies of earth shield. He said oh its just an addon that applies my buffs for me. I told him there is no addon that applies your buffs for you that's a bot. I cant remember his name but I reported him I'm sure Blizzard didn't do anything about it.

Well tbf when it comes to things like botting Blizzard will never instant ban them bc it doesn't solve the issue. They're bot accounts. They'll just buy another or bypass it somehow. It doesn't solve the issue. And if they did instant ban it's easier for the cheaters to find out exactly what was suspicious/triggered the anti cheat. So instead Blizzard spends many patches fixing their gaps and the bypasses. Then mass bans all the bots so that it's harder for them to come back and debug exactly what tipped them off.

I think Pika's point was if that wasn't the alt of someone really good/well known then its super sus. Check PVP showing that rogue is duelist XP but he's timing everything perfectly to the millisecond. Duelist rogues don't play like that.

Everyone uses focus Kidney when using a off cc. I use focus step into focus interrupt. I also make a lot of my ability mouseover that way you only have to hover over gladius to hit them especially on casters
Some people I'd be a little hesitant to believe claims of cheating, but Pika is pretty consistent with acknowledging when he or his team as a whole were just outplayed. He isn't your typical "anyone that beats me must be cheating" type of person so I'm more inclined to believe his breakdown of it lol.
Blizzard literally added a feature where you can attack whoever is infront of you. So you could target another target and hit whatever is infront of you.

U can use shift mod macros to attack ur main target then hold shift and all your keys key binds will be use on focus target while u can still target main target

I do this on my paladin so I can get repent off without having someone targetted. It's possible with the rogue as well. You can set a button to cast on your focusas well. Mine is Cntrl and ALT is self-cast.

Focus attacking Pika while targeting his partner might have been some mindgames, because sometimes the person might be staring at the healthbar at the top left and assume it's their own healthbar, and if they don't see that healthbar moving, they might think, oh this guy's not doing any damage to me, I'm fine, and then it takes them a second to realize oh, they're not targeting me they're targeting my partner, and my health IS actually going down. Or even just to confuse the guy like he confused Pika, and it might give him a split second edge, or a psychological edge, or he might have mixed up his focus macros somehow and had to improvise and just work with it. He also could have just hit the wrong buttons, panicked, or whatever. Hit Dismantle by accident. Hit step/kidney on party2 instead of party1 by accident. The trinket/vanish/sprint/kiting could have just been a gamble to take Pika by surprise for a split second, to buy himself another second before duel ended. He might have really just trusted himself to survive there by gambling a bit because maybe it worked for him in the past, going off script (maybe a stretch). Just throwing out ideas. Interesting video though.

If he swaps target to mage he will be out of range of the mage and unable to do dmg to pikaboo. Or the rogue would literally need to have 2 keybinds for every spell one for hitting his target and one for focus target

The real problem is macros. Remove them from the game. That would fix this problem, and tighten a little of the skill gap at the same time. Would be good for the game.

I ran into this “person” the other day in 2s at 2.3mmr. The new name was Thompson and had identical achievement dates. It was playing with a prevoker doing 84k dps….reported it 6 times; we went 1-5 and dropped almost 80 pts.
GM messaged me back within 45 minutes and asked for feedback as to why and I referenced Pika’s video and then from my POV and XP - I have 4 glad titles so I’m not just casual or speculating.
It was so disgustingly blatant. I wish PIka was tracking APM so you could see just how impossible what’s happening truly is, especially with server lag factored.

There is a addon/cheat that if their ping is lower than your is you use an interrupt or something like that. It’ll stop cast/use a CD if they have lower ping than you. Some of this looks like that.

The roll the bones right as they see each other makes me think it's a script simply because it is the script beginning when it senses being in melee range. If they saw each other then a second later he rolled it'd be just an opener habit, but it went off the millisecond they went into melee range of an enemy. Then add in perfect timing on everything. I think that's what he meant by it being someone, if it was a smurf account for a multi glad it would some sense on the timings. I'm with Pika on this one, I think it is a person controlling the character movements, but with a play script. I'd bet this was actually the creator of a cheat bot/script testing it out live.

He was playing with a healer not a mage, and you can wait for the mage or immediately put pressure on the rogue. What do you think is going to change if you sap and wait for the mage to pop out of stealth rather than just going on the rogue when you get a chance? Opening with disarm means the sub rogue (pika) either has to trinket it, pop a defensive, vanish, or just stand there and take it.

half way through a video. may be pika is a bot? y the fuck would you burn your evasion on disarm? this fight is actually depicts reality, a problem with MMR system. there are ton of great players, stuck in 1600-1800 brackets, especially in SS. and when they just held by un natural sources down, by shit luck, but shit lobbies and etc. i took 6 classes to 1800 in season 2 (just do mogs), 4 this season so far. and i noticed the best games happen either in 1900 MMR lobbies (dont really go up higher but assume higher even better), or 1400, or lower mm brackets. the 1400-1800, is a total shit show. what happens in 1400 and lower, you can out skill and out gear (people not min maxed, or built wrong stats, or havent finished purple set yet). in 1900 mmr, everyone is min maxed, every one knows wtf is going on and plays are generally very similar and all comes down to who will have more fuck ups in their rotation, or their decision making and the higher the dumpening, the higher the mental pressure, the higher likelihood of people fking up under pressure. now 1400-1800, is a shit show. 50% lobbies, you end up having either 1 total dead beat, which makes everyone go 3/6 and gain no rating. or someone is like super good and carries the lobby gets 6/6 and than every one else gets 3/3 except healer, and 1 dps who get this guy 1 less time on their team than the other. the remaining 50% of lobbies, just stupid fk ups and pure luck. once you are out of this crab bucket into 1800+, you're actually solid to test your skill. Also, i did throw rating on healer once, to get fast conquest, for gearing. basically i afked lobbies, untill my MMR dropped to 700. at 700, mmr, 0 rating, it took 40+ mins to find a game as a healer. meaning there are no people playing there at all and system is so crap that it doesnt matches you with no one. system is eternally flawed. and only works well at 1900+ brackets.
btw if you wonder what happens in 700 mmr. once you burned all your free (inflated) mmr. you're back to square 0. you get 70 rating for 6/6 win and you lose 70 rating for 0/6 loss. for going 3/6 you get no rating. your MMR doesn't jump 200 or 300 points anymore, like in very beginning. you literally have to consistently go 4/6 or better, to climb. OUT OF 700 bracket! i dont think many people tested this. but MM system is not meant to calculate the low brackets like 700 correctly. and it doesnt do well at 1800 or lower. it only works in 1800+.

The reason he’s not targeting you is very simple and it’s not cheating the person you’re targeted on will show you where your shadow step is in range the second they get in range where is if he’s targeted on pica he cannot see this I do choose all the time I do the same thing I’m usually targeted on the person I’m not killing simply to be able to step kidney step sap step cheap shot whateverbut it shows you when your step is in range for the other target and you can hit it immediately rather than guessing if they’re close enough, you should use it. It’s a very good tactic.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he is a cheater, or that because his rating is low he is "bad" and shouldn't be able to beat someone with a higher rating. I used to play this game as enhancement shaman, stopped after shadowlands, but for me getting 2s and 3s was always a chore because nobody decent wanted to play with enhance. I could easily hang in the 2.2K brackets but to get that kind of rating I'd need a consistent team and that just didn't happen. I remember spending hours just finding teammates who would often bail after one loss even if we had a few back-to-back wins.
The other thing is that I played with a gamepad and not keyboard, and since the gamepad has a few easily accessible keys I would use mod keys to access additional buttons in the same area of the pad. I also did use a lot of focus macros and had a lot of my damaging abilities on focus so I could quickly change targets without having to tab or click. Most people who weren't too egotistical to play with me would often comment at how surprised they are, "I thought enhance sucked" or "How did you do that" etc.
Maybe he was cheating, maybe not. A lot of popular streamers cheat as well. But you can see the elitism and sense of entitlement that certain players cultivate simply because they ascribe a high rating to themselves being individually good...when in reality it is having reliable teammates who you can play with and get used to each other's styles.

I am a long time mage who recently started playing rogue.
Came across pika and his viewer on our way to 1800. We smoked his viewer and had him down to 10%. He ended up 2v1ing us lol. BUT if we won, and he would have watched me on the rogue, he would have seen me do alot of things hes prolly never seen other rogues do. 😅😅 deff something weird going on with this rogue- i think his movement gives it away more than anything. Similar to how you could tell all those ele shamans scripting due to their movement and the need to keep jumping/moving.

He looked at the mage switched target to mage step-kidney pika then still move towards mage for a second to realize "wait my script hit the wrong guy" and did some weird jingle like "where the fuck did i step lmao" cause he was lost
Its def not cheating he just doesnt understand what he is looking at.Also the way it looks to me is that the other rogue clos'd the mage's combust coz a second before his stun ends the mage pops combust and lands a pyro him.Airgo he presses clos to immune the combust
