That is an innovative and good idea. Most gun safes are just a time deterant not truly an impenetrable vault. Great for everyday storage of quick items.
Nice! I been looking for an idea like this. I was going to build something but this seems sturdy and secure enough to keep my guns locked away from the kids .
I have a beat-up 4 ft construction site lock box that I use for ammo. It looks like junk!!! It is bolted down to the concrete in the garage and has heavy-duty locks on it. To me, the key is that no one would think something valuable is in it.
I’m thinking about getting one of these and one of the 9 drawer to make a 8 foot reloading bench/work station. Going use a butcher block top to tie them together and then put T-Track in it for easy mounting of things like powder measure and case trimmer
If it fits your needs then it is a good solution. A lock only keeps an honest man honest. This will do a good job keeping small children out. Teenagers, not so much. Especially if they know about the lock picking lawyer on youtube. It might slow a thief down by a few minutes, but then again a good number of the so called "gun safes" will only do the same thing. I have the multi drawer version of this cart in my garage for my tools and it has stood up great for about 3 years with a crap ton of tools in it. They are great buys for their cost.
No worries here 1 son who’s trained and doesn’t have a key. Again I have a large safe room in a new home this is more for Guns I’m using in videos working on etc
Only two positives of a gun safe is the fire protection and the fact you can't just wheel it out the door to be broke into off site. Actually happens to a buddy with his tool chest. All the criminals did was roll it out the door and tipped it sideways onto a trailer.
Hey man, trying to get your input on an older video you did about the g3 eagle talon. How did you mount your depth finder to the dash. I have the same boat and I’m Trying to do the same thing with a Garmin unit.
Old refrigerators. Stuff inside will last in a house fire and all you need is to attach some gate hardware and a padlock. Definitely isn't a replacement for a good safe

That’s cool, those boxes are a good deal. I need one for ammo storage and a nice gun cleaning spot
Exactly

Go to the fabric store buy foam sheet couple inches thick...cut pattern out with electric knife...u got a pelican style drawer...I've done it
That looks awesome. Good job, my guy. I would prefer that over my safe any day. There's plenty of storage for all your necessities.
That works out great ! Very nice looking and with a vice will be a great setup !!!!

Just searched for this now. I have been thinking of getting a tool cabinet to use for gun cleaning and parts storage as well.
