Ronan: "Then Thanos i'm coming for YOU"
Thanos: "lol k"
Right, I'm pretty sure Thanos didn't even flinch when he said that 😂
Lol k *ends ft call*
Ronan would definitely win if he has the power stone
@José Luis no, he wouldn't. He lost to the guardians, and Thanos beat Thor, Iron Man, and Cap with just his sword and armor.
Ronan would've been a stain on the side of a planet had he fought Thanos.
@@dakotatomlinson8461 Ronan lost because he got distracted. Thanos's only chance would be to destroy his hammer, which I doubt he would be able to do since Ronan would be there to kill him.
Thanos could beat him with brains and strategy, but in a straight up battle Ronan one shots him with the stone
I love how Thanos doesn't break a sweat during this scene. It's like if he saw something simmilar happen before
Thanos is ready for this eventuality
Nah im pretty sure he was stressing hard af. The power stone can literally wipe out planets. Thanos himself and his ship would be no problem for that stone.
@@tatumkindelay5592 You don't know who thanos is ig, and mind you this version was based off the comic version do ya research lol
@@savior_1 i just go off what the movies say i aint no nerd😂 ronan could have killed thanos easily.
@@tatumkindelay5592 not easily but here he surely is more powerful than Thanos with no infinity stones but Thanos could out smart Ronan he has an ego. Guardians beat him the dark order and Thanos would destroy him.
I like it how Thanos doesn't say anything but just watches and then hangs up 💀
He probably threw stuff around and had a gamer rage after hanging up.
probably burst into laughter right after
I think he wanted to wait and see if the stone would kill Ronan or not. Most people in the universe aren’t able to wield an infinity stone.
He was punching the air after he hung up
I know big bro was actually punching air after that, mugged by his own goon and now Ronan is coming to kill him with one of the most powerful weapons in existence
Underrated villain. Ronan is honestly one of the better villains in the MCU because he perfectly captures how someone who’s vengefully insane can progressively get more scary to watch
Um no he was as useless as his comic variants! Alway with the big talk, but we on the follow through!! You should see a villains abilities match his accomplishments! With Ronin's is paper thin.
@@SeanHenderson um yes he was one of the better villains. The only useless thing here is your opinion since it holds little to no value. He was actually strong in this version and dealt serious damage to the Nova Core and nearly destroyed Xandar. The big talk is factual because he was even known for killing a lot of known planets under Thanos command and was the only one among his minions to actually threaten him when he had the power to face him. Only thing that stopped him was trickery.
@@SeanHendersonRonan literally soloed the entire Nova Corps aerial fleet with one blast.
Zero emotion and intrigue, he was just a bad guy doing bad guy stuff
@@mirkecWiiThe typically with no impact or interested thing
"You call me boy" was the most epic scene 😂
in the Russian dubbing, for example, they used the word puppy
hahahahahaah😂😂😂😂
The delivery of the lines of 0:59 - 1:10 is amazing. I will never get tired of hearing him say "AND BURN IT TO IT'S CORE"
Ronan had a bad reputation against the Guardians, he was such an underrated villain and very high potential.
Lee Pace is awesome
aight, i love that part, delivery is just spot on
you should watch The Hobbits. every line of him is awesome
Ronan never got to come for Thanos.
Ronan was such a good villain
YES!
@B Willington No, he was a villain.
He lost to a dance off, do you really think he was a good villain?
@@Riddlemethiseveryone that just makes him better
He needs to come back considering the whole multiverse deal now if he came back in GOTG 3 it would be awesome
I liked this scene a lot for some reason. If I had to guess, I'd say it's because you could feel the anger and belittling Ronan went through in his dealings with Thanos. That "you call me boooyyy?!" felt like it was coming from the heart with vengeance and hatred.
One personal opinion is that vengeance and hate is what got Ronan killed, as for Thanos is the complete opposite. Thanos was empathetic with many characters in infinity war and didn't overestimate his power nor underestimate his opponents, which makes Thanos a very well written villain who even managed to succeed in the end; they had to make another movie for the Avengers' redemption.
i almost didn't recognize nebula in this scene. what a character arc she had. from ronan's ship crew in the distant universe to an avengers!
“an Avengers”
James Gunn said that was always his intention.
also, she is really good at Dance Fighting
I swear she's probably one of my favorites. What a character arc. Amazing
The fact that Ronan could even withstand the energy when he puts it in his hand shows you he def wasn't just some dude, he was someone of great power, and he was a decent villain imo, his motives were clear and his resolve was absolute!!!..
I love the bit at 0:50 where Korath is handing the hammer to Ronon. This was obviously shot against a green screen so there was nothing to react to, but Djimon Hounsou absolutely nailed the reluctance to approach someone who is holding an Infinity Stone and has its destructive purple energy flying all around.
Yeah he killed it. It’s really funny because he looks genuinely scared. 😂😂😂
Hounsou has been low-key nailing support roles for over two decades now. He doesn't have the charisma to carry a film, but he reflects really well off other characters no matter who he plays.
😂😂😂😂😂
Was thinking the exact same thing.
It was like approaching someone who was being electrocuted.
underrated villain! he was more mad than thanos himself!
There’s a difference between vengeful and mad people
The best I agree
Thanos is the Mad Titan for his hardest and brutal choices. But Ronan is a real mad accuser.
Thanos is mostly calm and focused and self-aware. Especially in battle.
@@Xterminate13 so was Ronan not mad? Literally maniacal throughout the whole movie.
1:24 it’s crazy to see how far nebula has came as a character since this film. She’s had one of the best character arcs in the MCU
It's also crazy how Karen gillan (Nebula's actress) started off on doctor who and ended up here
She didn't start off on Doctor Who, she had other roles prior, though Doctor Who is certainly where she gained recognition
only if you write it that way lmao
@@IamNinjaOfNinja Even Thanos admitted that he treated her too harshly before getting decapitated, which shows that she faced a long way of consistent torture. We still didn't get enough of her when she talked to Gamora about her past with Thanos ripping her eye, brain, and arm; trying to turn her just like her.
If she would have said 999 planets, Ronin may not have believed her.
or 1001 planets.....but what would come by destroying planets? Is it like high score?

I think the two are extremely close at base. Thanos hits harder. Ronan is more durable.

Lee Pace is just amazing in everything he's in. From Ronan the Accuser to Thranduil to Joe McMillan. Dude never misses
I will always love him as The Pie Maker.
he possess this rare quality of being able to completely express himself emotionally, as a man, without it ever coming across awkwardly. most of us men are emotionally castrated.

When Korath is handing Ronan his hammer, he clearly doesn't want any of that purple shit. 🤣
0:35 This scene never gets old.
Ronan, The accuser/ Lee Pace, did more justice in representing the Kree than the entire Captain Marvel movie. The Kree is just so much more, the war of Kree and Skrull needs to be something of a autobot decepticon war.
Ronan's voice actor is amazing
Because he is lee Pace
The mixture of Lee's voice and computer creates the perfect raging voice. All of Ronan's pent-up anger towards Zandar and Thanos undermining him... I definitely felt when he said "You call me boy!"
Remember when this movie came out and people called ronan boring. Looking at most of the villains we got recently i bet they wished for more ronans now
You call me "BOI???"
The infinity stones are a kind of cosmic magic that's too great for mortals to handle, so they need to be embeded into inanimate objects to be used. The power of the Living Tribunal is embeded in a staff, the mind stone is embeded in a spear, etc. This was mentioned in Dr.Strange
and the infinity gauntlet was the best because it could let the user harness the stone's powers to its full potential

I mean it's the power stone. It doesn't really do anything special, it's just a super duper nuke.
@@thorthegodofthunder9150It's not the comics, but in the comics, it grants control over all energies that have or will exist. It also enhances physical capabilities.
“Boy” 😂😂😂
Fun fact: the power and soul stones were the only two stones never shown being used in their respective containers. The power stone was outside the orb every time it was used, and the soul stone we don't even see used until Infinity War. However, the space stone was used inside the Tesseract. We're gonna say the Aither was how the Reality stone was kept, so that counts. Dr. Strange used the Time Stone a lot while it was in the Eye of Agamotto. Loki used the Mind Stone inside of his scepter.
Thing is though with the power stone is the it was a storage container not a vessel for its power. I also believe the mind stone was embedded in the scepter for thousands of years in a similar manner to which Ronan embedded the power stone into his hammer. The tesseract cube could have been the result of the energy around the space stone crystallizing which was found at some point by the asguardians. The soul stone is self explanatory as is the time stone but the aether being the reality stone just fits. It rather fitting that the reality stone can shift between stone form and a formless energy.
Vision used the mind stone several times. To kill Ultron, and during Infinity War he was blasting the children of Thanos with it .
@@maxdecphoenix Vision *is* the container.
Crazy to see how much nebula has changed gonna miss them all
Point is don't call Ronan a Boy when he has an Infinity Stone, Thanos like yeah keep dreaming boy lol.😂😂😂😂😂
Thanos said okaythxbye 😂😂😂
0:24 BOY
I belive this scene had a hidden meaning. You can see Thanos is waiting and watching Ronan taking the stone to see if it destroy Ronan. It almost did however he put it in the Hammer and can now use it. That was the moment Thanos realised he can hold all of the stones if he can put them into some device like weapon or gauntlet. Amazing detail.
Umm, no. The gauntlet was already made and in his possession.
@@winterhaydn There is no such scene that confirm that . Also he let the dwarves to make it and then killed them all. Dwarves were under Asgard's protection. Odin was still ruling strong at that time and was legitimate threat to Thanos. Thanos made it after Odin was replaced by Loki.
@@RadekCrazy1 The gauntlet was made way way before that. That's why when Hela came back she knew the one in the vault was a fake because thanos had it.
karen gillan is still hot as nebula
iNDEED!
Marvels biggest mistake over the years was killing off the villains in every movie.
Even ultron, hela and gorr.
That's not the issue here. The issue is underutilizing certain villains that can have a good impact.

This is what a proper Marvel antagonist looks like.
1:23 Nebula hinting at her dark past with Thanos.
Ronan: The Orb is in my possession, as I promised.
Thanos: Bring it to me.
Ronan: Yes… That was our agreement. Bring you the Orb and you will destroy Xandar for me. However, now that I know it contains an Infinity Stone, I wonder what use I have for you.
Thanos: Boy! *I WOULD RECONSIDER YOUR CURRENT COURSE!*
Korath: Master! You cannot! Thanos is the most powerful being in the universe!
Ronan: Not anymore… *YOU CALL ME “BOY”?! I will unfurl one thousand years of Kree justice on Xandar **_AND BURN IT TO ITS CORE!!!_** Then, Thanos… I’m coming for you.*
1:15 whatever boy! (Hangs up)
Probably the only time Thanos was worried about lil Ronan.
The power stone was the ONE thing he needed before he could start moving on to the other stones. That's why he didn't start collecting them before, he wanted to make sure he knew where they all were AND most importantly he needed the power stone first, cause whoever has that thing, can still stop him.
I’d like to point out Ronan couldn’t take Xandar even with the power stone while Thanos took Xandar while they had the power stone and he had none.
Well he does have a big army and the rest of the black order at his disposal so it would be a walk in the park especially when Ronan weakened the Nova Core and Xandar with there attack
I think it was Ronan that hung up on Thanos, not the other way around. You see him make a motion as if he's hitting a button or doing a signal to hang up.
Thanos had a little rage quit there. You know that he was pissed off
1:01 Get yourself a girl that looks at you like Nebula looked at Ronan when he defied her father and threatened to kill him.
Ronan was all like "thanos, coming for you n*gga"
Well let me tell you something brother.

Happy 9th Anniversary Marvel Studios "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY" AUGUST 1, 2014) (R.I.P. Stan Lee)
the way thanos said boy really got me-
"Thanos is the most powerful being in the universe"
Odin: Lol nope
Kang and galactus: amateurs
Mephisto: Hold my hellfire
Beyonder: hold my reality bending
Back when marvel was good.
The power of the sun in the palm of my hand
I understood that reference
Ronan went full Starscream on Thanos
Even without the stone Ronan remains extremely durable and very strong, almost casually ragdolling Drax with one hand only.
He would lose to Thanos unaided but with the stone there is no fight. Ronan kills him dead so utterly.
It's nice how over the years leading to the Infinity War, the movies showed different powerful beings from the universe chasing or hoarding the various infinity stones: Loki, Ronan, the Collector, the Ancient Once, the Red Skull. Odin (Thor`s father) also once tried to collect them all, and I'm sure there were even more who tried.
Thanos was just the first one who was successful in collecting them all - maybe because he had an actual purpose for them, not simply "gain unlimited power" or "rule the universe". I read somewhere the sties had a will of their own and didn't really stick with someone if he was not "worthy". And after accomplishing his life's mission, he destroyed them,. Shows how focused, dedicated & disciplined he actually was.
If Ronan succeeded in collecting the stones, I think it would've been much worse. He's much crazier, more irrational & power hungry. The Avengers can consider themselves lucky they had to face Thanos, who was dangerous but still very rational, and not some irrational, crazy mofo like Ronan.
Ronan was underutilized. He had so much potential to be a more influential villain.
Since we know Captain Marvel is active at this time, and has fought the kree and knows very well of their hatred for Xandar and of Ronin, I really do wonder how it is she did not even know of the fact he was going around attacking colonies, slaughtering them by the buckets and moving a entire army to invade and destroy Xandar.
Or of Ego.
Or of Thanos when he literally was halving planets populations and working with massive armies, like against Earth and such, and then when he invaded Xandar etc.
Like I really don't like her going in Endgame "You didn't have me", as if that excuses the fact while in space she did nothing to stop Thanos and seems to have taken until Fury paged her to actually realise Thanos had won.
Of all the non-Endgame movies, this is hands down the best MCU movie.
Lol endgame is shit
