TIL masterpiece means "average superhero movie" Marvel fans are so toxic and eat up anything. Avengers Endgame could have been Thor sitting on the toilet for 3 hours and you'd be eating it up crying out how amazing and subtle it is.
@@Instanence sheesh man... maybe it was my entuziasm speaking but don't say these movies arent great, at least on a technical level. I know, superhero movies don't excel at storytelling, but come on, saying a marvel fan would be amazed at literally anything... as if these 2 movies are so bad there's nothing redeemable about them. Say what you will, but these are not bad movies. As for calling them masterpieces, yea, to me they were. Not lord of the rings masterpieces, but they managed something nigh impossible. So many characters on-screen and a culmination of years of storytelling, and it was all, at the very least, satisfying. While I wouldnt get why anyone would consider them the greatest movies of all time, i cant understand how you can call them average either. They're literally one of a kind. Say what you will, but these movies to me represent more than the sum of their parts. This is a fan of the concept speaking, not a fanboy. I am critical about most superhero movies, but these 2 just mesmerised me. They re imperfect in all regards and maybe now im contradicting my very first statement but by masterpiece i meant its a huge achievement, a cornerstone. Because love it or hate it, they are unique. And idk, average storytelling is not the worst thing for me. Cinema engages all of your senses, so for me an "enjoyable" movie crosses the line of story and character. Most of the time people say this to justify liking whatever crap, but i cannot explain how, these movies just aint it. Theyre made with devotion. I can sense this. Because when a movie is not made with devotion you get... josstice league.
Mysterio with a couple of projector drones: elaborate imagery of him fighting monsters and psychological torture Thanos with reality stone: bunch of bats
This is still probably one of the best fights in any Marvel movie. It's perfectly balanced, pun not intended, with huge CGI spectacles and physical confrontation and teamwork.
You have to admit how humble he is, he wasn’t insanely angry cussing at everyone and trying to kill them, despite being irritated by every one and the second he gets a break boom 1:42 🤣🤣
02:35 right as Dr. Strange opens the portal for Mantis, they cut out any score from A. Silvestri. Makes the whole moment of all of them against the Mad Titan just so much more intense. And that scream Thanos cried out desperately as Mantis was trying to subdue him, still scares the shit out of me to this day.
@@scpkidstv9749 Dude has MAGIC, movie thanos aint got nothing for that. He could open a portal to the core of the sun and place his head inside the portal.
Notice that it's an all-star superhero lineup. They had a guy with destructive technological suit, master magician, a superhuman web slinger, demigod gunslinger, durable tank, cyborg, and a hypnotizer fighting against a madman with a powerful gauntlet. Thanos didn't even use the gauntlet in fullpower in Wakanda compared to when he used it in Titan.
I love how quill never underestimated thanos mainly with the "piece of cake quill" from stark immediately followed by "yeah if you wanted to piss him off!" From quill
To be honest, Stark hasnt seen the Stones being used at this point. Quill has seen the powers of the Power stone ( he wielded it of course) and he saw what the Reality Stone could do. He knew that with the stones in his possession he could do anything.
Dr a strange throwing the shields for Star lord to jump on and do a flip while planting a bomb on thanos back while then opening portal for Spider-Man with Ironman coming in to fire artillery at thanos was everything I ever wanted for this movie. Everyone of these characters have their own styles and weakness but it was perfect to see them all working together.
At 2:20 you can see Thanos is about to strike Drax in the head, but his arm gets caught just in time by the electrical force thingy. Love the attention to detail.
now this was a good fight scene. it really emphasised the importance of teamwork (almost as if thats what a movie about superheros teaming up should do). like the parts where dr srrange created platforms for quill to jump on and place a bomb on thanos, or how they all worked together to restrain thanos so that they could put him unconscious, it really took use of the characters using their powers together in creative and effective ways
This clip is just as satisfying to watch at 0.25 playback. So many little details that are easy to miss at normal speed. I never noticed how at 00:26 the Reality Stone as Aether starts to flow out from the gauntlet to change the debris into the flock.
This is the peak MCU not endgame. All the theories and speculations and the massive buildup was for this particular movie. When I was at the theatre and saw the opening credit showing up I was like 'Wow its really happening'. Also the end credit when the title just dusted away it was packed with tons of emotions. All great action sequence and the villain prevailing and looking at a setting sun finally at peace. What a masterpiece.
Doctor Strange and Drax fighting a big purple aliens on another planet with Spider-Man’s web blinding him. Took 10 years to get here but it was so worth it.
Thinking back on Nebula's journey in the MCU, this scene is definitely one of the most underrated turning points. yeah she's completely filled with justified rage for Thanos, wanting to murder him and knows she's outmatched and not in sync with Quill's plan but she jumps in and gives it her all anyway. until her single flaw, distraction, caring more about Gamora than getting the job done, let's her guard down for just a moment as Thanos takes full advantage and gets her out of the fight.
I miss this MCU so much. The fandom was like a CULT, every movie was an event, marvel was untouchable, the theories, the quality, the hype, the anticipation for every movie. Staying for the credits without question. Being there every opening night without question. Killing ourselves to avoid spoilers. Breaking the ticket websites. And this is coming from someone who actually LIKES the new MCU.

1:00 THANOS: Did I really say I liked him earlier? I take that back. Let's see how he reacts when he finds out about Gamora.
0:22 yeah, you are aware of his durability, right stark?
I mean hes never met him before. If I dropped a fucking spaceship on someone I would also assume it would be enough haha
He managed to use power stone before spaceship dropped on him
Wishful thinking on Tony's part.
Mysterio with a couple of projector drones: elaborate imagery of him fighting monsters and psychological torture
Thanos with reality stone: bunch of bats
Tony didn't blame Quill during this scene cause that's how exactly he reacted during the Civil War
Edit: And John Walker.
This is still probably one of the best fights in any Marvel movie. It's perfectly balanced, pun not intended, with huge CGI spectacles and physical confrontation and teamwork.
Favorite scene in this whole fight was seeing Spider-Man holding his own against Thanos. That’s why he’s my Number 1 Superhero.
Dr strange has all for one
I mean- your not wrong
What do you mean?
Is that a bnha reference
Does it have to do with the red wires because that’s the only thing I can relate it to AFO
you mean One 4 All. All Might quirk.
Imagine how long Tony waited to drop that thing just to let them finish their dialogue
Quill: Okay, so Strange is gonna do a comeback at Thanos and then Iron Man is gonna drop a spaceship on him
Iron Man: Why
Quill: Because

You have to admit how humble he is, he wasn’t insanely angry cussing at everyone and trying to kill them, despite being irritated by every one and the second he gets a break boom 1:42 🤣🤣
Thanos’ really is a bad ass for taking all that damage and just getting up like it’s nothing
The durability of his skin is impressive 🔥
He's a titan guys are literally hulks who are constantly super sayian
Dr. Strange being the support in this team fight damn.
The theme for this scene was one of the greatest out of the mcu. It just suits it so well.

0:12 this is the only time Thanos was caught completely off guard.
When you need an entire army of super heroes to fight a single villian you can't imagine how great he is❣️✌
At this stage, strange could’ve cut thanos’s arm off but he didn’t for franchise..

Stark had known the powers of mind and space stone.
Thanos looked so real in this scene it was kind of terrifying.

I feel the ripping of the Cloak of Levitation is the most tragic of all that was lost in the fights against the Mad Titan.
2:24 I'll never forget the first time seeing this part (Iron man gripping the gauntlet) opening night! CHILLS!

I like Nebula a lot, but she really should've brought more than just one staff.
Tell that to gandalf
She brought a ship to crash
This clip is just as satisfying to watch at 0.25 playback. So many little details that are easy to miss at normal speed. I never noticed how at 00:26 the Reality Stone as Aether starts to flow out from the gauntlet to change the debris into the flock.
Me watching on 144p with full volume : hmm detail
This is the peak MCU not endgame. All the theories and speculations and the massive buildup was for this particular movie. When I was at the theatre and saw the opening credit showing up I was like 'Wow its really happening'. Also the end credit when the title just dusted away it was packed with tons of emotions. All great action sequence and the villain prevailing and looking at a setting sun finally at peace. What a masterpiece.
Thanos: "Insect"
Peter: "Arachnid!"

Nebula came in at literally the best moment in time for the good guys
In all honesty, she wasnt very useful in this fight let alone she is a part a the reason they failed to defeat Thanos
It's funny to think Iron man held his left arm by himself. Couldn't he just bicep curl him lol
This scene was the proof why Infinity Wars more better than End Game.
These are my favorite kinda fights, phenomenal teamwork.
This frame is awesome: 2:34
Man,Dr strange was exhausted during that spider man scene.
2:00 Hey uh, nebula, that's not working just to let you know

I miss this MCU so much. The fandom was like a CULT, every movie was an event, marvel was untouchable, the theories, the quality, the hype, the anticipation for every movie. Staying for the credits without question. Being there every opening night without question. Killing ourselves to avoid spoilers. Breaking the ticket websites. And this is coming from someone who actually LIKES the new MCU.
Why doesn't he just use reality stone and turn them all in rubber ducks?
because plot
Because of the same reason that dr.strange didn't stopped the time and kill thanos, it wouldn't be interesting to watch
The movie would be too short
Strange can turn things into butterflies right? He probably has a spell to counter the reality stone.
