I got my white Speedy 3 weeks after release & love it! I received so much attention at Watches & Wonders Geneva a few weeks back you wouldn’t believe! Got approached literally by 50+ people that wanted to see it, try it on & take photos! I was there with a big crew for 3 days & they couldn’t believe it. Especially because some of my buddies were wearing watches valued @ 100k+ 😂

I would choose the '57 Broad Arrow over the Moonwatch any day, but it wouldn't be fair to say that Omega hasn't raised the bar with the new white dial. To be more precise, the handset and the applied hour markers are absolutely stunning, and the red accents are a very nice touch. Great video, as always! Cheers!

I love the Speedy and have it in my collection. Of course the black dial version. I tried the white dial speedy on at the Omega boutique and I must say I’ll stick with black version. I was kind of underwhelmed by that watch in real life. In my opinion it looks better on the internet.

I have the white Seamaster 300m for 2 years and I bought a special aftermarket bracelet which looks like the one from the Speedy to have exactly this kind of look. And was totally happy with it. But since Omega created this masterpiece I have the strong desire to buy this as well 😂
I wasn’t expecting to learn anything watching this, I had never heard it’s 40 mm at the bezel. Some watches look amazing in white, if I was buying an explorer 2 it has to be white. With the speedy it has to be black, I’m not sure how I would feel if it didn’t have the tacky red speedmaster text but the other white dials look a lot better. I had never thought about a full lume dial speedy but I think it’s a spark of genius, a playful speedmaster would be a nice change.
I do love the white dial, It's a great and refreshed look, but the black dial is just going to age better IMO. I daily my 3861 Speedy, and I don't think I would trade in for the white dial.

I've tried the white dial on and it's amazing. Bummer about the lume difference, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I mean, I own 2 Alpinists with tiny lume dots at the indices. Who am I to judge? One local AD I spoke to about it already had 20 deposits down for that model. It seems to be quite popular.

I understand the heritage perspective but come on, it is an 8000 euros watch... and no, the racing is not the same, and the reduced latest model is already 15 years old
I watch your videos primarily because of the writing. Superb wit and jabs at the ridiculous hobby of watch collection. The best humor is that which self depricates. I did not, however, watch this for the Omega Speedmaster, as many have. I feel that it's overpriced and overrated. I do, however own a Bulova Lunar Pilot in white panda. The 2nd watch to land on the moon and not fail...like astronaut David Scott's NASA issued Omega. May the farce be with you... Always.
Different league. Bulova Pilot is like $1k and the new speedy over $10k. Omega even got the thickness down to 13.2mm. Would I buy it probaby not but not a bad watch.
I sometimes wonder - And I'm allowed since I, too, have a 7 inch wrist - If conspiracy theorists are ever proven right about their claim that NASA faked the whole moon landing thing, what would that do to this watch?

I'm really confused about the swim at 30m. I had a speedy pro (pre-Metas) that I would gently wash under sink water (not submerged, just running water). Two times it had condensation under the crystal and had to be sent back. It was a 50m rated watch.
7 Evans = 6,5 salmonelli. Obviously we will need a blue full moon lume dial. I get your moon fatigue. For me the moonswatch gave me the fatigue where I can’t get excited anymore… for this watch I mean
Saw it in the metal over the weekend, and I'm just not getting the hype. It's a nice white lacquer dial. That's it. I think people aren't thinking straight because they've been looking at the black Moonwatch for too many years... but that's the color it looks the best in.
@@warren_wuffett8349 nah the C Class has changed a whole lot from the first W201 generation (launched 1982) to the current W206 (launched 2022) while the G Wagon, which has had 4 generations so far, has only seen minor changes since 1979 (W460) to the current model (W464). Even the upcoming all electric model looks pretty much the same. Mercedes is so careful about keeping the original look of the G that on a recent Decoder podcast, Mercedes’ CEO went to great lengths explaining how careful Mercedes engineers were when they tried to improve the aerodynamics of the door pillars for the electric version. Sounds like the Moonwatch to me.
I love this watch but my IWC micro-adjust has spoiled me. I love being able to adjust the bracelet on the fly for maximum comfort. I'm not sure I could go back to a bracelet with hardly any adjustment. Come on Omega! Let's have a proper micro-adjust with like 5-6 positions, not 2.

I really prefer the Panda version in the Tokyo 2020 Speedmaster release. I owned one and it incorporated the easy adjustment in the clasp.

There was also the 2020 Tokyo Olympics rising sun model with a red bezel ! Which significantly dropped in price after the release of this model
