thanks for the review it looks like a great bit of kit especially keeping mould from growing in a sleep pad (they aren't cheap) and added bonus of a light/lantern and i guess could be used as a cooling fan in summer, keep up the great honest reviews andy 🤪
I've got one, I found it a bit fiddly first time with a Thermarest pad, but maybe that's partly because I can never quite remember which way round I have to have the airlock thing twisted on the pad itself, and which end of the pump inflates vs deflates. If you get those things right though, it does save time and effort compared to the pump sack, and I liked hanging it up as a lantern in my stupidly small tent later on. The main downside I found was the noise, but that's probably not something which would bother you if you're not trying to be stealthy.
It’s not ideal, but it works for me too. The new Flextail Gear Zero Pump has one specifically for BA. I use that too but I still use the 2x and it doesn’t bother me the fit isn’t perfect.

My right ear was very pleased with your video
Apologies, I only found out today my mic is broke. Because I edit on my phone I had no idea one channel wasn’t working!
I've got the first white one, and it's brilliant, I only use the first light setting. The new one must be excellent, £36 well spent, Cheers Andy 👍
Same here, I only use the first setting, that’s plenty in the pitch black.
Flippin’ heck I have the original Tiny Pump. It’s one of my favourite pieces of kit!
Absolutely, everyone who’s got one loves them!
Great review, just ordered one off the back of this video so thanks
I still use it, even last weekend, it’s superb!
@@BackpackingUK You chaps who review equipment have probably saved me hundreds of pounds so far in my first year of wild camping. Hats off, thanks.

The vacuum also makes rolling up your sleeping pad easier too. I great little bit of kit!

Good point, they are loud! Gladly not for long though.
Bought a Big Agnes air pad and non of the attachments really fit so I did the same and just held it up to the hole with the flexible attachment

I’ve got one, great bit of kit. Great posts, keep up the good work. 👍
Thanks 👍
Can see that these pumps are useful but i am settled on the pump sacs tbh, cheap and a bag will last for as long a you want to use it
Thanks Andy.
No worries!
How long does the battery last/ How many battery cycles? Can you replace the battery?❤
You can’t replace the rechargeable battery but I’ve never heard of them failing. Have a look on their sites for full details.
Nice video. Thanks for doing it. You don't really show which attachment to use though.
Have a look online, they list which one you need for each pad.
Can you change the battery? Can it be recharged from a power bank
The rechargeable battery is built in but you can charge it from a power bank.
i have those colors white orange and black nice.....
I like the orange because it’s easy to find!
@@BackpackingUK yes correct....
Where do u get the lamp add on plz
How many times can it be used before the battery runs out of juice? i.e. how many nights is it good for?
It depends if you use the light too and how big your pad is. It’ll be good for a weekend 👍
Where can I get them bags brother . Will be ace for hiking
I’ll put a link in the description 👍
Erm…you cut the video during the demo, so how long does it take to inflate your pad?
Under 60 seconds 👍
I've nothing of interest to say just making a comment to support ya channel buddy I won't carry it too many grams for me 😁
Cheers mate 👍
Will it work with my Therm-a-Rest?
I think there’s 5 adapters. However, I use the flexi-one on all my pads and it works whatever the brand is.
I used it with a Thermarest NeoAir XLite, I would assume the other Thermarest pads would work too.
Thank you guys
Well when my flex tail pump dies I'll get the other one.
My first gen is still going strong 💪 I think they’ll last forever!
can this inflate a balloon?
I doubt it has the pressure to do that.
38£ is a bit expensive for this toy
It's a great toy though!
