The iPod Touch 7th Gen was released in 2019 with identical specs to the iPhone 7 such as the Apple A10 Fusion processor, M10 Motion Coprocessor, 2gb ram, an 8mp camera and so on. The iPod Touch 7th Generation is officially the last iPod ever released because as of May 10th 2022 the iPod was officially discontinued by Apple after a 20 year run starting from October 10th 2001. The iPod Touch 7th Generation will not support IOS 16 when it launches later this year and will be getting IOS 15 security updates from now on.
I got this iPod engraved with the launch date and end date of the iPod which is October 23rd 2001 - May 10th 2022. And I unboxed it a few months ago as well. In the iPod Touch 7th Generation unboxing 2022 video, iPod Touch 7th Gen Unboxing 2022 etc, I unbox this brand new iPod Touch 7th gen a few days right after it was officially discontinued. This is the space gray iPod Touch in 32gb which arrived pretty fast from China when I bought it on May 10th itself. It arrived in about 5 days which is extremely fast considering its an engraved iPod as well. The video Is linked down below!

I just figured out that Apple Music consumes most storage on my iPhone. So I am highly considering this for a music device. Then I saw that I can get like an old iPod Nano for a cheaper price. Plus it doesn’t look like an iPhone ahahaha
If you can get a Classic 5.5 Gen and mod it with an ssd..Nano's are extremely hard to fix and replace batteries.

Well, i sold it recently because it has a small battery capacity. If i keep charging it over and over again then at some point it would need battery replacement and i wasn't sure if batteries are easily available for this model. 😞

tbh a redesigned ipod classic instead of a touch would have sold better
6th gen has a M8 motion compressor, with a A8 processor and 1gb ram.. IOS 12. +
7th gen has a M10 motion compressor, with a faster A10 fusion processor and 2gb ram. plus more. IOS 15. +
After owing iPod nano 1st gen, iPod touch 2 gen and first iPod made…I was blown away by the 7 gen IPod touch wow! Is too bad Apple didn’t pay attention to us and how much use we were getting out of them.

You can use any iPod for that
would have been nice to have QR code recognition. Many times i like to look up information on products (food especially) and using a camera to get the QR code is a fast easy way to get info.

If you have a PC, a laptop, or a Mac, connect them to it, move the music from the old iPod to the computer, then from the computer to the new one
