Fun video! I’m half-Japanese, so this is right down my alley. I don’t like raw fish except for crab, and I love shrimp tempura, so I would enjoy what you got. California roll is my favorite. I love the ginger but wouldn’t touch wasabi with a ten-foot pole, lol. Enjoyed the review. Give your Dad our love and best wishes! 💕

Hi Penny- tell dad he was missed very much today! Hoping you both can shake this soon, so you’re back to 100%. The only “sushi” I’ll eat is the California roll. Just can’t do the raw fish thing. 🤢😜 My kids love it, but not me. Plus I’m allergic to shrimp, don’t want to risk any cross-contamination. Penny you do whatever you have to & whatever works for you & dad. I can’t even imagine all the work, time & dedication that goes into your videos. It’s appreciated VERY much. Great review Penny. Going to every other day would be fine I would still watch them all and can totally understand the challenges with every single day. I love sushi and think you did a great job on these today. I think to get a really high score on sushi it needs to be fresh at the restaurant. But I love delivery sushi and grocery store sushi too...just think it's only possible to get a 10/10 or something if you're at the restaurant.

Hi Penny, I hope that Dad finally kicks this thing. Now I'm super jealous I absolutely love sushi/Japanese food my mom's from Okinawa. My girlfriend didn't think she liked sushi before she met me because of a roll she had once I was able to convince her to try a few things and what do you know she loves sushi now just not every roll.Her favorite is shrimp tempura tho. My husband works at a sushi restaurant similar to that one. He even brings home leftovers some nights. I am a sushi freak.
I love sushi too. I need to try more varieties.

Yum, I love sushi! and the only way I will eat wasabi is when I mix it in the soy sauce to dip the bites in. give it a try if you’re feeling adventurous sometime!

I never liked wasabi or ginger but the older I get my pallet has changed. Wasabi with soy sauce is good it’s a gradual taste and the only ginger I eat is the pink one. The yellow taste like cough syrup 🤢

I like sushi but I don't like ginger or wasabi on my sushi. My favorite sushi is tempura asparagus.

Awww never? I suggest if you try it, try the California roll (there isn't any raw fish in that one) or any cooked sushi. They also have sushi with just veggies in them. Some of those are great.
I'm good with every other day. You can always throw in a "special". Daily must be a burden.
