Mark, I've been following you since i was 15, I'm almost 22 now. Must say, love and admire your work. You've remained the same. Consistent, expressive and very genuine. ❤
Hi Mark: First, a big shout out to your wife and son. I am very impressed at seeing you being a great family man. I do hope that all is good in your marriage and with your son! A couple of questions for you. First, I think that you are giving your son a great foundation and understanding of the world. He is seeing more in his first and formative years than most kids will see in a lifetime. You are to be commended for this. I would like to see more of Ying and Micah. Is Ying your cameraman/person? What plans for education do you have for formal schooling for Micah? I love watching you guys! Again, I would like to see more of the family. (I've been a fan of yours for years.) Stephan in Palmer, Alaska
mark you know how to capture the experience and put the viewer where ever you are. truly talented. I just wish you would include ying and micah some at least in this your second channel
I love these types of vids, I'm starting to like these more than the ones on the main channel, it feels more authentic, unscripted and wholesome to see Mark spend time with his family. Thank you Wiens family for the amazing videos!
I would live and die in this place!! Is there anything better than a conveyor or sushi! What a wonderful experience. Love how your family is always with you. What a great way to make memories.
@@forsaken7161 I don’t think that Micah will just stick to french fries with tomato ketchup or rice with soy sauce when they are traveling. Both mike and ying seems to really enjoy other cultures and cuisine.
I take my kids to eat various types of Japanese food every time we drive up to Bangkok - and always enjoy it - but the more they see you videos, the more they can’t wait for our July trip to come around. Thanks again!
To everyone who sees this comment, keep pushing in life and never give up. Can't wait to see you successful one day and May God bless you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A handy tip when having kaitensushi (and most sushi places). The slices of ginger (aside from being a palette cleanser) can be dipped into the soy sauce and then used as a 'brush' to coat the topping of the sushi with a thin coating of the soy sauce. Easier and less messier, as you aren't getting the rice wet with the soy sauce.
OMG I’m from Japan and Kagoshima is my hometown!!! I love this local sushi restraint 🥰 I’m a big fan of your video, so I’m grateful to see you enjoying visiting Kagoshima☺️
omg, I can't believe how big Mark's kid has grown! I remember he was with his wife and kid eating that spicy japanese ramen.... her wife was still holding the baby and now he's like asking his dad about food. man time flies
started following you from wayyyy back when u were wearing that brown jacket in japan, really glad to be seeing all these japanese series from you again! really loved the old korea series too where u labelled them by episodes!
It must be so difficult to shoot video’s for two channels , but Mark is doing such a great job to keep us all informed about food and culture and most importantly entertain ❤
I like how Mark shows us how to correctly dip the sushi in de Soy Sauce but when he puts it in his mouth the rice is completely soaked in it haha. Just the way I like it as well
Any time you can visit a sushi-go-round it's golden. Everything looked yummy... especially the chutoro and otoro. And I have to agree, I could eat gari (pickled ginger) by itself. I hope you and your family are having a great tour, and blessings to you on your journeys. Can't wait to see what's next. ☺️
those could easily cost 200+ in the states. $50 seems like it's nothing compared. I'm so hungry for fresh sushi! lol Great video as always, Mark. Love you and your family.
Love your channel and your family being involved. Your videos make my day brighter and keep me inspired to stay as healthy as possible so one day when I can afford all those destinations to travel to, I can eat all that food ❤😂😊 keep on truckin' 🎉🎉
There were two conveyor belt sushi places in Portland I used to love going to. When I got to San Antonio I started looking for one here, thought there might be some in Austin, I did find two great Ramen places there though, but I did finally find one here and I love going there. It's so very Japanese. Robots serve you drinks. You got me wanting to go
15 plates at a Kura Sushi in LA for two people is already like $70-80 with tip and tax... The price and quality is vastly superior in Japan I must say and thanks for sharing Mark as always! Would love to visit Kagoshima island one day!
Hi Mark! Hope your having an amazing day😊😊! Been hooked on your vidz since the pandemic, hope to travel and eat like you, Ying and Micah do. I’ve watched Micah grow over the years, so adorable. Mark, I'm so glad you found another hidden gem. But something I'm loving to hear is Micha in the background 😍 eating sushi 🍣 too. I'm glad you had a great day
OMG I've been there! Such a fun experience and lonnggg wait :D I had no clue what I was eating back then lol; but so much more knowledgeable about sushi now and would love to go back (especially after watching this)!
Been following Mark for the past 10 years and he still looks the same. Can't figure out how he manages to keep the weight off after all the food he has through out the years. He got that ectomorphic body type with a extremely fast metabolism. Thanks for the videos Mark on all your channels.
