For people wondering why certain faces look the way they do, it has something to do with the Character Overhaul mod from Nexus. It bugged for me. I’ll try and fix it for future vids. 👍

Try using character expansions revised. Way less buggy, and keeps a general vanilla feel will still markedly improving how alot of faces look.

I like how some of the unmarked quests in New Vegas are as detailed or in a few cases even more detailed than some marked side quests in 3 and 4

It's always funny to see the caravan hostages & Anders sneaking away surrounded by fiends & even if I play an evil character I always fix Snuffles leg.....I might shoot her later when I go back to rid the world of NCR lackeys but nobodies perfect.

time stamps would be nice. i know most if not all of these. anyone autistic enough about new vegas to be interested in this video is probably the same way.
8:36 - You guys missed the tie in between Private Sexton's unmarked quest and the main quest "Restoring Hope" for Camp Forlorn Hope, This plus a few other quests in the camp directly affect the quality of the NCR troopers that go in to take out Nelson. So if "An Ear to the Ground" was nothing more than 100 caps then yes not really worth it by the time you got to that stage. However it is more than just 100 caps.
9:20 - Heh. Whomever did that play through got caught by the Legion's tactic of placing land mines under corpses.
12:18 - This one is completely optional if you have high guns, repair, and speech by the time you do Nellis. You can just talk to the teacher and add to her class curriculum by those skill checks and get a lot of faction with the boomers.
13:55 - So you briefly mentioned Aba Daba Honeymoon but this is one of the quests where you need to be careful on the order in which you do the quests. If you do this unmarked quest prior to Aba Daba Honeymoon it will automatically fail Aba Daba Honeymoon as soon as you kill Motor-Runner. Especially since doing Aba Daba Honeymoon gives you the Great Khan armor to wear for this completing that quest first absolutely trivializes this vault clear since it is exactly as you say. Do stealth kills and pick them off one at a time. I normally will clear the entire vault other than Motor-Runner then go back and talk to Anders and have him help kill Motor-Runner when it is down to just him and his two dogs. Easy peasy way to verify the completion of the unmarked without having to worry about Anders dying on the way to Motor-Runner.
18:52 - No the snow globe is NOT inside of one of the graves where you need to dig it up. It is sitting out in the open in this graveyard so has nothing to do with the shovel and graves. Also there are multiple graves around the game map all which can be dug through this way for loot. Yes the loot in the graves is random but the snow globe and the cigarette butts are not random. They will always be spawned in the exact same location in the cemetery.
26:38 - Just like with quest I commented on above this isn't necessary if you've got the skills and talk to the teacher at Nellis. Matter of fact you will already be idolized prior to even doing Ant Misbehavin' and have to find Raquel manually to start that quest as the Volare! quest will already not be pointing at Raquel on the map for her quest if you didn't grab it before getting idolized.
28:34 - Yes this is a unmarked quest but it is also a complete waste since you'd have to have a Charisma of 7 and that is a huge waste of SPECIAL points right there. Especially since getting idolized with the boomers is too easy to do. I'm on another play through right now after taking a seven year break from FO:NV and I took the advice of other YTers on the character build this time and stripped Charisma down to 1 during character setup. This allows those points to go to other more important SPECIALS. It hasn't negatively affected NPC character interactions one bit. So the only real down side to Cha 1 is there are two perks you cannot get if you do that but they aren't important perks (or ones I would normally get anyways) at all.
30:02 - Yet another side quest that is completely unnecessary since boomers faction is so easy to max out without this waste of caps.
38:30 - Tip on this one is to turn in the suits one at a time to max out The Strip faction. Once that is maxxed out then just turn in all of the suits at once. Also you didn't clarify that is 30 caps per suit not 30 caps per turn in.
33:16 - I never knew about this one but it shouldn't be surprising why though as the only time I ever finished with the Legion was just to get the achievement done. Otherwise I go with NCR as it is the ending with the most promise for the future. Not stellar for the Mojave right at the ending but since the leadership of the NCR can, and will, change it can get better. Whereas all other choices lead to dictatorships of varying degrees of evil.
The only thing you guys did here which threw me off was in separating the three Sloan quests. You had two back to back then the last one WAAY down the list. They should have all been next to each other IMO.

Question. How come the characters in your game look slightly different to when I play.
I’m using a mod called characters overhaul on Nexus. It’s not without its faults as some of the characters have weird face bugs and things sometimes. I tried it out for this video but idk if I’m sold on it yet.

Went pretty light on the mods. I used the character overhaul mod for new vegas and a texture mod. It’s like the most downloaded texture mod but I forgot the name. Then I downloaded some stability stuff and that’s about it. Oh also a lighting mod to remove the orange filter.

17:29 be warned the contrera’s hidden quest is SUPER buggy, but you can still complete it with ease, a lot of the dialogue will bug out; speech options appearing when they don’t make sense, being able to finish the quest saying you did it one way, when you did it the opposite way, etc etc. example: I killed the undercover NCR ranger in the final quest, went back to contreras, and told him that I apparently “convinced the ranger to work with us” and still got the final reward “this machine” so 🤷♂️ idk man

You can get the Q35 by also dropping down from the collapsed floor on the 2nd after you lockpick.
Dropped her dead husband off legitimately 40 ft from his corpse guarded by 4 feinds and bear traps not even in the way and the NCR said i should get a medal for this then fuckin shot me.

I was doing chores to this video and was real spooked by seeing the uncanny face mods you guys have on lol. I put most of my hours in this game on xbox 360 when it came out and was able to play it on pc later on but never changed the faces, so the mod you had on really messed with me lol

No nothing random to these at all. They are all just following chats with the NPCs and can be repeated on any new play through.

I knew them all except for the one that was Legion side based because I never play pro Legion.

The Q35 Modulator is a Plasma Rifle, while the Q38 Modulator was almost used by Marvin The Martian to blow up the Earth, until stopped by Bugs Bunny.

josh sawyer never really liked the world as a whole which I stumbled across by accident plus unique dialog and finding two areas with all the ammo armour guns, he called it the second apocalypse and yeah your turning the only two remaining supply lines into Vegas into radioactive ash, I also found a oversight that if you never pick up the chip you can pardon yourself and essentially get away with mass murder, the game allows it, your screwed if you have it before hand however.
Honestly, big winner isn’t that hard. I just run high luck because it helps crit chance and gambling is a plus, save after each tier reward, and only play blackjack doubling down on good bets.

17:00 There's no way in hell that Deathclaws are an endangered species. They're apex predators of the wasteland and breed like rabbits in their nests.
I think one of the most infamous unmarked areas/quests because of how out of the way the location is, is the deathclaw promitory.
Personally feel Thomas was the right story he seems more level headed about it whole situation even tho he did have to kill some one that’s the wasteland for ya
