By now all the kids that died that day would have been graduated and moving onto another stage of life. They should have been here ❤️

seeing the families get those boxes broke me- these families did not deserve to go through this. no one deserves to ever go through this. ever.

I remember the day it happened. Even my school across the country had a day of silence for the lost lives in Parkland. May my class, class of 2021 all over the country go forth in life and make this world a better place.

As someone who’s graduating from high school the same year as them, it’s heart-breaking that several victims would have graduated along with me, but couldn’t.

Still so very sad, really doesn’t feel like that long ago. The shadow boxes were an amazing way to honor the students who have passed, bravo to whoever thought of that idea I know the families are grateful to have them. Rip to everyone who lost their lives way too soon❤️

It's ironic how these 9 kids that passed were born 2003 and sad how there were 14 years of life when they were killed, it's a short life and never had the chance graduated with there class of 2021 such bright souls that were taken away by evilness is really cruel.. 😪😪

It’s been 3 years. But even if it’s been 30 years, trauma lives on. These kids went through something horrendous that no one should have to experience. They watched their friends die right in front of them. That’s not something you can just “let go.” They’ll live with it for the rest of their lives.

thats lives that were lost in a place that should be safe no we can't let it go those were practically children who should have graduated with their classmates

They can’t ‘let it go’ though. This probably affects them everyday. Some of the survivors say they have flashbacks that are triggered by alarms, loud noises, wake up screaming or crying, can no longer function properly, or have depression and survivors guilt.

They’re not milking anything. What these kids went through is probably one of the most traumatic things they will ever experience. They can’t just “move on”, have sympathy.

Milking??? Move on???? It doesn’t matter how long ago a tragedy occurred, paying respects is something that carries on indefinitely. They are not “milking” anything this is simply commemorating all the students who experienced what no kid should ever have to go through and still managing to get to the finish line with so much on their shoulders. These kids worked hard so stfu and keep your bs to yourself.
