I started watching thinking "Oh this is nice, a girl giving good insight on a video game, dont see that everyday" and then like 6 of your 8 things were toys and pets and I lost all hope.
And on top of that, she doesn't know that you still have all your talents in arenas and RBG's even after you prestige, even if they're unavailable outside. She is most excited for that feature for a completely invalid reason.

Considering they still haven't released subscription numbers since the release and I am seeing more of the same complaints, if not worse on the forums, Im guessing they didn't fix much with Legion.
***** They don't release subscription numbers because if an update goes south, it's horrible for them if it's like "WoW has 10 million subs! Wowee, Legion is great!" then come 7.2 or something and everyone unsubs similtaneously. It's estimated WoW is at about 8-11 million subs right now. Forums doesn't ever get positive feedback, it's mainly used for people crying because they don't like a feature or because their class was nerfed.
Some of the fishing bobbers are available in game now. You can buy the duck and murloc bobber from Conjurer Margoss with drowned mana after reaching the required rep. The tugboat bobber can be fished up from pools at the darkmoon faire. I am not sure if the others are in game yet though. I am really excited for this patch, especially the new raiding with leashes stuff and the new Noblegarden bunny!
You're right, they are available in game! The Margoss bobbers and possibly the rest of them are in the game as consumables currently- it's pretty exciting that they're being made into toys! I'm not likely to farm Drowned Mana for a consumed-on-use bobber but as a toy? Gimme. Lol!

I think the Nightbane mount is from the normal Karazan since it doesn't show "Return to Karazan" in the Location area and I haven't seen Nightbane in the boss list for the new Kara area.
Same reason old raids got new pets. The pets from molten core or sunwell were never hard to get, since they were introduced in mists. Granted, a mount is a bigger deal, but you DO need to do a questline to be able to summon Nightbane, so who knows.

I suspect it's a new mount for the new raid level. I have the old fiery warhorse from Attumen, and it uses a different model Admittedly, they could be just changing the in-game model but I would think a new version of the mount to grind ...
Malcolm Baker Midnight is a new horse mount that drops from Attumen in the NEW Karazhan. The Nightbane mount is a fiery skeletal wyrm mount that seems to drop from the OLD Karazhan, off the summonable boss Nightbane.
They say the geometry of the nagrand arena isn't changing, but the pillar bases are going from circular to square, like the other arenas. Maybe that doesn't bother most people, but to someone that has been doing arena since it's inception it is a big change that could take a long time to get use to...

The artifact leveling is designed in such a way that it is going to take even the craziest grinding bastard a while to fully level it up... so if on the way I get some cosmetic items or toys and pet, or even a mount... I'm cool with that. I'm taking my time in Legion, but I understand not everyone is going the same route. It's all good

That last mount is actually the Deathcharger of DKs at the moment. which you can use 1 hour per day for mounted combat if you have that class hall upgrade. Also the new Four Horsemen ride it right now. I was expecting it to be a future DK only mount to be honest, with all the color variations which DKs already have. Nice video, thank you!

From a lore perspective, that old Karazhan is gone since Khadgar abandoned the tower and now it has been overrrun by demons. so in fact we are going back to the same tower but many things have changed inside it.

Dejay Citruz Sadly, I never get to go to raid simply because I lack the gear to do so, My highest rate items are 667, plus the current guild I"m part of doesn't believe in helping out low ranked members, soo I'm stuck playing the game solo which make it harder and less fun. I prefer to play and quest with others most of the time sadly....kinda lonely since I an a casual player due to job.

PL have told me it's not fun to help new / lowbie players, where I used to love helping out and questing with others since it gave a more comradery feel and like I'm part of the other all story. its a patch man.... the xpac just launched 4 weeks ago with the raid and pvp season just started. blizzard isny gonna drop mad content updates every week lol theres plenty to do at the moment. i for one dont touch pet battles but the mounts are a nice add on until kara and all that launches

The only bad thing is removing the prestige out of the Prestige system. Everything else is amazing. I knew they were gonna aim for a release schedule similar to MoP since it's been the most successful so far. This looks as fun as 5.1 Landfall was.
From a PvP'er I don't like them changing honor talent prestige thing. It was cool that it reset all your abilities, thats what made it special, only the players who did a lot of pvp actually got it. There's no reason for them to make this change..
Hi Hazel, The only change I disagree with your enthusiasm is about the new Honor Change and keeping your talents. In truth a different approach could have been involved (I had my hope on it :( ). When you prestige and enter a random battleground/WPvP/Arena Skirmish: your talents behave as if you have 0 level and you have to work your way up to the top again. At the same time, once you have had level 50 Honor Rank, even prestiged (and back to lvl 4, for example), if you entered a rated Arena, or Rated battleground you gain all your honor talents ( as you have had them unlocked once already). It will make for a fair challenge for prestige for PvP players. Right now, with this change, any PvE Obsessed people will do the following for mounts/toys/titles: 1. Queue and Bot for Honor to gain Talents. 2. Queue and Bot for Honor to earn Prestige, while enjoying your Botted talents. 3. Destroy General PvP's community achievements in battlegrounds, for the sake of PvE-ers. 4. If they grant as easy PvP-rated farmable rewards and Raid-farmable rewards, I am all in. But don't destroy the random Battleground PvP element before it had time to develop.
Good that they did the thing with the prestige - I never went prestige in games like call of duty because to me it didn't make sense to loose everything.
they are changing our numbers a bit but also changing how some of our abilities work. Blade of wrath will no longer be a dot, but instead a RNG chance of resetting early. Crusader will instead reduce the cooldown of our Judgement ability by 75% and IT will be the one to stack the damage buff, however it seems the haste buff per stack has been removed.
I don't see the point of removing the main con of prestiging. I mean, leveling to 50 is fast and easy. It really is. Took me something like 2 days to get to level 50. You don't have to go out and pvp all the time. You do ranked stuff while your mates are available, and if for some reason they aren't available for a few days, got get prestige again and so forth. That way I've been serious about pvp even if I reset talents 5 times already. I don't mind it at all and I think this is a choice one should make. Either staying 50 and enjoying the full range of abilities, or grinding for prestige. This is in my opinion a bad change.
I don't really like the Prestige change. They made it into an even more obvious grind. It's just another level to gain now instead where as before it had at least some meat and meaning to it. Now it just means absolutely nothing more than your 49 previous levels.

prestigeing no longer resets your honor talent... so how will u lvl from predicate 1 to 2 to 13 if ur honor talent doesn't reset? Does it add all honor per lvl 1 to lvl 50 for prestiging 1 to 2 and over and over to 13?
Oh please tell me Skull of Corruption lets me make a show of staring into a skull like Illidan does with Gul'dan's when you first see him on top of Black Temple... guild mythics will never be the same.
I don't think the number one was a good move on blizzards part. It's really not a prestige system unless you start over from scratch. It's going to be more of a paragon system if anything. But it really didn't work too well with the rated pvp.

Agreed, having a reusable toy will be much nicer. Anything that eliminates having to continually farm is always welcomed!

World quests are one of the best places to get gear. you dont need a guild for that.

its a patch man.... the xpac just launched 4 weeks ago with the raid and pvp season just started. blizzard isny gonna drop mad content updates every week lol theres plenty to do at the moment. i for one dont touch pet battles but the mounts are a nice add on until kara and all that launches

The only bad thing is removing the prestige out of the Prestige system. Everything else is amazing. I knew they were gonna aim for a release schedule similar to MoP since it's been the most successful so far. This looks as fun as 5.1 Landfall was.

I don't like them changing honor talent prestige thing. It was cool that it reset all your abilities, thats what made it special, only the players who did a lot of pvp actually got it.
There's no reason for them to make this change..

Hi Hazel,
The only change I disagree with your enthusiasm is about the new Honor Change and keeping your talents. In truth a different approach could have been involved (I had my hope on it :( ).
When you prestige and enter a random battleground/WPvP/Arena Skirmish: your talents behave as if you have 0 level and you have to work your way up to the top again.
At the same time, once you have had level 50 Honor Rank, even prestiged (and back to lvl 4, for example), if you entered a rated Arena, or Rated battleground you gain all your honor talents ( as you have had them unlocked once already).
It will make for a fair challenge for prestige for PvP players. Right now, with this change, any PvE Obsessed people will do the following for mounts/toys/titles:
1. Queue and Bot for Honor to gain Talents.
2. Queue and Bot for Honor to earn Prestige, while enjoying your Botted talents.
3. Destroy General PvP's community achievements in battlegrounds, for the sake of PvE-ers.
4. If they grant as easy PvP-rated farmable rewards and Raid-farmable rewards, I am all in. But don't destroy the random Battleground PvP element before it had time to develop.
Good that they did the thing with the prestige - I never went prestige in games like call of duty because to me it didn't make sense to loose everything.

I kinda dread the 7,1 patch for the changes to Retribution paladins, as the update may save or ruin our spec :/
what is the change to them? I thought they were already ruined.
they are changing our numbers a bit but also changing how some of our abilities work. Blade of wrath will no longer be a dot, but instead a RNG chance of resetting early. Crusader will instead reduce the cooldown of our Judgement ability by 75% and IT will be the one to stack the damage buff, however it seems the haste buff per stack has been removed.
I don't see the point of removing the main con of prestiging.
I mean, leveling to 50 is fast and easy. It really is. Took me something like 2 days to get to level 50. You don't have to go out and pvp all the time. You do ranked stuff while your mates are available, and if for some reason they aren't available for a few days, got get prestige again and so forth. That way I've been serious about pvp even if I reset talents 5 times already. I don't mind it at all and I think this is a choice one should make. Either staying 50 and enjoying the full range of abilities, or grinding for prestige.
This is in my opinion a bad change.
This expansion has been a content overload. I kind of have an idea of what I should be doing, but there's so much to do it's crazy.

I don't really like the Prestige change. They made it into an even more obvious grind. It's just another level to gain now instead where as before it had at least some meat and meaning to it. Now it just means absolutely nothing more than your 49 previous levels.

prestigeing no longer resets your honor talent... so how will u lvl from predicate 1 to 2 to 13 if ur honor talent doesn't reset? Does it add all honor per lvl 1 to lvl 50 for prestiging 1 to 2 and over and over to 13?

I don't think the number one was a good move on blizzards part. It's really not a prestige system unless you start over from scratch. It's going to be more of a paragon system if anything. But it really didn't work too well with the rated pvp.
