Since this is the last OST, you can check yourself which song it is by checking all the videos or you can send me a link to a stream of the anime and tell me at what time the song you are looking for starts.

Not really, Isaac McDougal knew about the slaughter during the Ishvalan War and how the people were used to create Philosopher Stones, but he didn't know far down the rabbit hole Fuhrer King Bradley really was.

This song is so amazing. I feel as though this song is the perfect blend of beauty and anguish. To me it almost seems like a theme song that can be played in any situation where the acquisition of knowledge results in great pain and regret. This song almost is a lament over what unlimited knowledge and power really end up bringing in the end.
and that is why this knowledge must be sacrificed in order to achieve fulfilment

I had to watch it in French, but it was worth it.
Even though I’m Italian ahahahah
I understand people's feelings toward the first series, but Brotherhood is so much better in my opinion. This scene is one of the best examples. Did Dante ever come close to Father's epicness? No. Father swallowed GOD.
Could beat up in a fight =/= well written character.
At the end of the day, Father was a one dimensional character following the good old pattern of "Marginalized in the past, now has an insatiable lust for power/security." His character is basic and lacking in any depth that makes his douchiness even understandable.
Father can keep the knowledge that he could beat up Dante in a fight for all I care. I prefer well written characters to DBZ wet dreams.
The beauty of Father is that he is, on the surface, simple. But when you look past the power he has, he becomes very deep. Because of his having been born from Hohenheim, he desired freedom. Because of this, he went on to sever his own vices--the seven deadly sins--and rule them as their father. He was the epitome of human weakness. Unlike Dante, who at the end of the day only wanted her own immortality.

I could easily turn that around on you and say that Father, at the end of the day, only wanted more power.
Dante's character was the amalgamation of centuries of living. Seeing humanity repeat the same mistakes over and over, only to have kids who continue the cycle. Her long life gave birth to an incredibly bitter and extreme level of cynicism. By losing her human mortality she lost perspective, evaluating people to her standards rather than understanding the limited scope of a normal human.
She was a prime example of corruption in power; the danger that holding yourself in a position of superiority brings.
EdgarAllanBroe but you could also argue the same eternity shaped Father to the same misgivings. At first he as the dwarf who studied humans, even admired them. Admiration though rooted an envy, for they could seek freedoms, and no matter how far off they were they could seek it..but he was in a flask and could seek no freedom.
His envy became hate and so in a plan to sate his own wish of freedom with his want of vengeance he made man the catalyst of his key.
In time he began to desire more, to know everything that ever was and would be. But such a thing was impossible for him, as he was but a fragment of all the truths of existence, and so there was no other path than to become just like Truth entire. But how? according to human records, Truth, known as God, was perfect; without sin. So he separated his sin, but in doing so lost all of his self, his understanding, and his purpose. He was an empty shell; which is why when he retook greed some personality was shown in him for but that moment before he again removed him, effectively returning him to emptiness.
The way he saw it; humans were corrupt, fleeting, and fragile. Such beings can create themselves at such a fast pace, and are so prone to destruction that he himself driving it would change very little from how they would do it themselves...the only difference is that he'd get something out of it his way.

That’s definitely my favourite episode. It reminded me quite a lot of End of Evangelion so that’s why I love it so much. I wish they stayed “dead” for longer because it’s only like 5 minutes so it didn’t really have much impact.

Anyone I have spoken to doesn't understand how FMA is and always will be my favorite show. With a sountrack like this, the idea of alchemy is amazing, shows how corrupt people are and how love can always conquer evil. It truely is an amazing show. I can rewatch this show many times and love it the same.I don't watch many animes but this has always made me wonder what our world would be like if alchemy was real, and just how fragile life is... Amazing show.

I find it so AWSOME how they put so much into this short of a Anime Series with all the music and everything it makes you wish it were longer.

Which only makes this whole masterpiece even more awesome and filled with symbolism. There are several parallels in fmab to WWII, the ishbalan war of extermination draws a strong parallel with the holocaust. And this awe-inspiring ost was played by the Warsaw philharmonic orchestra. I found out a few days ago, and it made me love this work of art even more than I did before

Fma was one of the best shows I have ever seen. As you said, they put SOOO much into the show that by the time it ends, you want to watch it again. It's great!

I find it astounding how FMA's themes were able to perfectly capture the aura of Mankind's "tug-o-war" with God. You can feel the raw hubris that Alchemy brings characters like Ed or Father in the music.
The Struggle of Man against Nature, Man against Man and finally, Man against God. the three classics of literature.
Aaah, the moment Father starts getting his ass beaten.

Oh HELL YEAH it was. And it wasn't the only one. TONS of scenes from FMAB can be considered as 'one of the greatest scenes of history' ! Fmab is afterall a perfect masterpiece and the best anime.

This anime is the best for a number of reasons:
• It's as deep and philosophical as The Matrix, if not more
• The design of most of the main characters is really original, thanks to the manga writer and artist, (I forgot her name)
• The world building is fantastic
• Of course the music
• You really do feel Ed and Al's pains from start to finish (the second episode is both heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time)
• The villains are some of the most fleshed out I've ever seen in an anime (and to those who think that most of Goku's villains from DBZ are "fleshed out" because they don't want to kill him anymore, that's stupid)
• And the piece of resistance of this anime is it's powerful message about being human
P.S. Also the comedy in this anime is a banger! Lol! :)

I loved how the combined story, animation, and music gave FMA: Brotherhood this eerie feeling the entire way, just like knew that so much was wrong Amestris. Speaking of which, anyone know any other anime with that eerie feeling. I've already seen Trigun and Death Note, which have a similar feeling.
This and Dante's theme song in the original series are my two favorite music pieces used in FMA.

Best thing of FMA. It didnt milk the next series. It took the bad points and made them stronger. In the end, i still think that this series could be real. Truth, i would pay a toll greater than all for our world to have Alchemy like this...

FMAB is the best anime I've watched. I've seen Patlabor, Bleach, and Naruto. But the story of FMAB is just amazing. It's shortness is sad, but its so great. I'm going to rewatch it right now haha. I love the music in this one too, sort of has...a holy or medieval type sound to it unlike other animes I've seen.

Yeah I watched the episodes when they were being released. then read the manga up to the end and watched the rest of the eps when they came out.
There was never more anticipation for anything in my life then waiting for the climax with Father and his God powers.
