    Genesis 1:30
"And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so."

I enjoy Hugh Ross’s idea that dinosaur remains are part of God’s provision (fossil fuels), lime deposits similarly; Christians should read in these ancient remains the engineering handiwork of an amazing Creator.
Young earth creationism provides nothing but logical dead ends. Thinking atheists will never respond to the extraordinary claims of YEC.
    Thank you RTB.

I am reading a good book that expands on this: "God's Time-Records in Ancient Sediments" by Dan Wonderly. It was published in 1977 but you may be able to find a copy at a used book store.

Emily Morales Atheist won’t respond to Christianity whether it’s Old Earth creation or young because atheist just like the rest of non believers are Fallen, unless God chooses to grant them repentance they will never accept the faith.

Have you given six day creation a fair go? I suggest reading Evolutions Achilles Heels and perhaps The Greatest Hoax on Earth by Jonathan Safarti. The book counters Dawkins, Greatest Show on Earth.
      Cheers.

Death was around long before Adam and Eve. Adam was originally created outside the garden. He was brought into the Garden and told not to activate death. Death had no power with humans but was there.

For those who believe all animals ate plants ( I used to as well), I highly recommend researching animal and human anatomy. There are many big differences between herbivores and carnivores. To suggest they underwent such rapid evolution as to be able to eat and digest animal flesh even makes evolutionary biologists raise their eye brows. In fact it was learning anatomy that initially caused me to question the young earth narrative.

"... I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies." ~ Romans 8:18-23
"The last enemy to be destroyed is death." ~ 1 Corinthians 15:26
"Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire." ~ Revelation 20:14
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." ~ Revelation 21:4

The Romans 8 passage just says that God subjected it. It doesn't say the reason. In fact, Paul mentions the whole creation. That means the stars and planets as well. In that case, it's not due to sin.

Dr. Ross has said that God designed animals to kill quickly, meaning that animal death isn't really cruel like we may think. That idea can be debunked in less than a minute by doing a search here of animals eating other animals while they are still alive. Dr. Ross would have us believe that God created them that way. I challenge Dr. Ross or anyone else to find one of these disturbing videos, watch it completely, and confidently say that God created animals that way.

When ever someone is trying to argue there was death before the fall they never look at Romans 8:14 - 23 which I believe makes it pretty clear that death entered in by the fall. By pure context you can tell when it speaks of the creatures its separating Man from creature. - my explanation to how I understand the verses is after each verse in the (---). the verses are KJV
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (showing that the son's of God is referring to the redeemed)
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (again showing that it is talking about the redeemed)
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (and yet again showing that the "sons of God" are the redeemed)
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (showing that once we are part of the redeemed that by His sacrifice we will be brought out of the curse)
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (again showing the miraculous work of Jesus and how it will redeem those who accept His sacrifice)
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (first mention of something OTHER than the redeemed. By context we know that the "sons of God" are the redeemed. It can't be referring to the lost because there is only one way of redemption and that is through Jesus so thus they would then become "sons of God" as well. So creature by default has to be talking about the other living creatures on earth other than man kind to make sense)
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, (going back to Genesis where Adam being placed under the curse caused ALL of creation to ride his coat tails into the fall - the animals didn't break God's law they did not eat of the fruit of knowledge but they were brought under the subjection of the curse because of what Adam did)
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (by the first Adam falling and bringing the curse upon the earth all living things fell under the curse - death being one of the consequences. By the second Adam - JESUES and what He did on Calvary creation will be rescued from the curse "for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish..." I know that world mainly means man kind but if He removes the curse from the earth when it is remade then that verse fits both. Also this verse cements the fact that creature is NOT talking about man because if it was then this verse would make no sense because the creature would not be refereed to as "creature itself ALSO shall be delivered" because once a person becomes redeemed they become a son of God so there would be no separation in that verse between the creature and sons of God)
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. (again showing that the WHOLE creation was brought under the curse because of what Adam did)
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (I think by reason these verses imply VERY strongly that Adam brought the curse over ALL of creation and by reason if one of the main results of the curse is DEATH than it is logical to conclude that Animal life received death as part of the curse - these verses basically spell that out - and there was no death before the curse - the earth was not only good but VERY GOOD - no curse no death no suffering - all that came in by Adam's disobeying God )

Adam wasn't created with eternal life either which is why he would have to partake of the tree of life to bring that in, but he chose to eat of a very different tree which set his death in stone and confirmed God's word about spiritual death which happened in the day he ate thereof.

I see that you prove death already existed before Adam and Eve. This is why they feared death but God was speaking of the second death not physical.
The animal sacrifice was given to forgive every day sin this why they had to sacrifice every time they sinned.
I think people have a problem which death God was speaking of to Adam and Eve.

Woo Hoo According to Isaiah 55:8-9, Gods ways and knowledge is very far above than our thoughts and our knowledge. So even though we try the greatest of all human ability, we cannot understand his wisdom and ways.
According to Proverbs 21:33, be careful about what u speak plz.
It says in Matthew 12:30-31, dont speak against god..as it wont be forgiven.

What a joke....😂😂😂...the gazelle would take offence at Ross's view the being eaten by a lion is about maximising the quality of life for the herbivores...Ooh the blatant obfuscation. Then again that's what a PhD affords you. The ability to subtly hide your argument behind subtle disguised arguments...
