@Only life is through Christ i always heared that hell will be like bathing in lava, but never ever die, and worst pain you can experience here, is like a drop of water compared to pain level.
Unfortunately, yes. I’ve been following RTB for over 30 years. Why they don’t have a larger following is beyond me but I can only assume that the Church is a direct reflection of our society at large: science, math, and logic are boring and thought requires too much work.
The question I wanted to be asked was: Is suffering and death good or bad? At the conclusion of every day God declared that the result was good, and at the end of Creation week He said that it was all VERY good. Therefore, if death existed before Adam sinned, as Ross believes, then he must believe that God considers suffering and death good. I cannot accept that. Even if all the scientific data seems to imply that God considers suffering and death good, I cannot accept it, it does not make sound theological sense and it honours man at the expense of God. That is to say, it honours what we call 'science' instead of what we know about God in the Bible and life of Jesus Christ. It may not be a 'salvation issue' but it is, nevertheless, very important.
I don’t understand how God can plant a tree of knowledge of Good and evil knowing the severe consequences of just touching it would impact the entire human race.and calling it good?
There’s the switch from Genesis 2-3, where God gives the command to eat all the plants, to post flood where God gives man dominion over the animals for food.

I'll keep praying that this ministry keeps growing. I honestly don't get why this is a problem for young-earth creationists. It doesn't make sense to me.
Please explain to me what content did you saw that was so "awesome"? All I saw was 2 people sitting and telling me stuff about they couldn't possible have any knowledge of. If you want actual knowledge, i.e. stuff that we can demonstrate and show, why not watching science channels like ruclips.net/channel/UCrMePiHCWG4Vwqv3t7W9EFg At least there people can actually show me stuff.
If you want scientific evidence go to their website and read some of their articles. I usually listen to the videos, like podcasts, on this channel. I am a Christian, so of course I would disagree with literally everything you just said. Also, I do watch secular science channels on RUclips. @@JeremyWS So, please show me what they can actually demonstrate? You know, actually show. Not words. Not arguments. Science relies on demonstrable and falsifiable experiments. Reasons to Believe does have a testable creation theory, which does make predictions and is theoretically falsifiable. Some of the articles on their website are about modifications they have had to make to their creation model after a prediction failed or about a prediction made by their creation model that was fulfilled by advancements in modern science. So maybe you should look into the RTB creation model and study that. Maybe you'll find your answers there. Do your research. Also follow some of the RTB scientists on Twitter, they can answer this question better than me. I will pray for you. Have a nice day/night.
Regarding Romans 5:12... it does say that death came to all people because of Adam’s sin, but that does not exclude the possibility that death came to all creation because of that sin. If it brought death to all creation, then the verse would still be true.
I understand this differentiation between spiritual and physical death as well as human and animal death. This is a good differentiation, but why would God say that his creation is good if it includes death?
In Hebrew very good means that what was created and formed is functioning as it was intended. It never uses the Hebrew word for Perfect. If everything was perfect, then Hod never would have said it is NOT GOOD for the man to be alone.
How about Romans 8:19-22? "For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time."
How I understand it, God subjected the entire creation to physical laws ( gravity, decay, electromagnetism etc, In hope that it would be released from its bondage and decay, but Adam and Eve rebelled. Maybe that’s why God said cursed is the ground because of YOU. The ground didn’t change Adam did . Now the ground is cursed because it now at the hands of fallen sinful humans .
So the resurrection of Jesus was therefore also just “spiritual”? Did anything supernatural from the bible actually happen? What am I supposed to believe in then?
Why do people that take this position always quote Romans 5:12 as being miss interpreted or taken out of context but NEVER mention Romans 8:14 - 23 with special consideration for vs. 8:18 -22 which directly correlates death with the fall and also talks about how "the creature" suffers for what man did and will be delivered also. Now you may say creature is man but if you read all those vs. it makes clear that "sons of God" is talking about the redeemed in its context and it wouldn't make since for creature here to be the lost so it has to be talking about animals.
God says the last enemy is death. Death came by sin. And sin by one man. God did not create death. The first Adam was not spiritual. Read in context. Dust though art to dust we return. No immortal soul inside.
Why these nice people insist on explaining God using science.... I will never never understand. God can do anything He wants. He’s not bound by your understanding of science.
True. God must act within His character. The question is: is God creating death within His character? He said everything He made is good (in Gen 1), so that would lead me to believe that death is good. How does that line up with what we know about God & His creation? Does it Theologically & logically align with the rest of scripture?
The pathway to eternal life is through death . That’s why God closed off the tree of life. Scripture also teaches that redemption was at work before the foundation of the world . The angels who rebelled have no chance of salvation they are not physical.
Hugh Ross is just putting his faith in man's "evidence" (isotope evidence which are based on so many wrong presupposition such as the present explains the past) and not the Bible which clearly says in Genesis 1: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps on the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
Lars FRACHEBOUD Mr Ross is great ! But I totally agree. He’s bound by his love of science . God is God science is science. He’s also on the spectrum so maybe he needs a scientific answer to everything? Who knows. But truly God does what God does. No science necessary

I agree it does not exclude the possibility. But the problem is there are no scriptures to support it.
