Just came across the WAGO 221s in a light fitting in my new house, never seen them before. Excellent tutorial, really clear and concise. Many thanks for posting.

Great video, subscribed! Question, im wiring a campervan, im looking to wire 4 led lights along the roof with one cable. Would a 3 way wago connection be a good job for that or what would be best?
    Cheers

Thanks Mark - As long as the camper van is water tight and there is no damp in the wiring area then the Wago connector is ideal just make sure you spec the correct clip for the LED wiring.

Marine grade heat shrink tubing over the connectors should help seal them.

Why do they have uneven ports when you connect wires together, what is the 3rd of 5 port for?

Lots of different things but lighting circuits are the most common when you have more than 2 same circuit wires to keep together.

Can you use heat shrink to cover the connectors to make them watertight for boats

No but you can get a Wago Gel box for making watertight connections see the affiliate link attached amzn.to/2SKfnSy
