50007 + 50049 5Z50 Reading Depot to SVR Kidderminster 22/03/20

- This looks like the last time I will go on a station for a long time, and as you will see just one person was seen.
These two class 50s have been busy over the last three days going to Reading on Sunday and back, then on Monday to Laira via Long Marston and today back to SVR via Long Marston again.
I believe only 50007 was working as I said they sounded awesome at Marston Green.
That sound took me back to 1982,standing on Yeovil Junction's platform at 10.11 waiting for the train to Salisbury.You would hear the class 50 from some distance,really loud as it went past Sutton Bingham reservoir and you would then see the single headlamp.Great memories!

Just before the lockdown….very quiet. The 50’s sounded nice through Marston Green. Great stuff!

Well they are different stations Barry, but these are very strange times we are it but we have to do what the government says and stop at home, this was the last time I went out filming trains.

Lovely sight and sound in the sun there Mike. Seems so strange seeing a normally busy station like that deserted.
It was very strange Darren, it just shows nobody are travelling on trains. These two locos have been busy this week.

I must say, the shot of the station, at the beginning, was somewhat depressing. An empty station at night is not surprising. An empty station in the middle of the day is a sad sight. And, a train with a locomotive at each end and a single coach in the middle is equally depressing.

Strange combination for sure, perhaps it's carrying medical samples and is mitigating a failed loco?
Well guy as far as I know it went to Long Marston yesterday (Monday) but what for I don't know. Regards Mike.
Update about the coach, I think it went to Laura with a power car.
You not going out at all or just near by was gonna go for move on 24/03 originally but bit to far to drive and risk no trouble.

At least vast majority of people are taking the stay home thinkg seriously at last.....

Harry I know there is a lockdown, I haven’t been out since it started except to walk the dog, so please explain to my why you have written “Lockdown for a reason”.
