That was interesting! An EE3 with propper buffers (on both ends), but poor old Greyhound looks like in needs 'vetinary' with all them spots! Was there anyone else videoing or just the 'photers' playing with their alluminium ladders on a bridge?
You never know, the Warship could be as smart as 31466 one day soon. It did get a bit crowded on the bridge though, I did hear cameras rapidly snapping photos as I was filming, no doubt there were others filming but I just concentrate on what I'm doing. I did use step ladders, or a folding step, years ago, but nowadays just hold the camcorder higher - it does make yer arms ache though. Steps make it possible for people to stand two deep, so can be useful.
Believe x5 for colas testing to replace the 37s.. believe another move tommorow. Once again check rtt or live rail record early morning before setting out. Believe one more move to go. Also a lot more information please go to uk railforums its also on there as well.
One off the intercity livery has been purchased by the 125 group and is off to ruddington by road next few days. Getting it from road to ruddington from Neville Hill Depot in Leeds was to much to ask. The others might go to long marston. However its believed for around six months to a year. They are going to be used on the seven valley for colas test train training and the 37s will end. On some trains. Then return to derby most likely. However where they will be kept is quite interesting elsewhere on the seven valleys other storage areas is quite interesting. Maybe long marston. However testing could possibly only be done on Severn valley to train the drivers or could later stages go on to mainline from there in due course.
@@thebrummierailenthusiasts5329 yes it most certainly is I believe there is another move tommorow according to live rail record but locomotive returns on the Saturday though. 43159 in old blue great Western livery is due next. Which last year was at long marston then moved to burton ot Wetmore sidings. Which should be accompanied by two red ones ie ex lner ones from set nl58 moved in may. As far as I am aware unless one is the old EMT livery So two power cars for 125 group ruddington and actually its 5 power cars that colas are testing. Doubt much livery wise will be done on the seven valley though. However all said though I wondered why last Friday there was a strange light colas engine move from derby to burton ot Wetmore sidings. Then it fetched something ecs off there back to derby Under a class 5 ecs headcode. Usually it rail operations group from there as we know recently to long marston. And move happened. Late Last week Friday off hand iff remember. So that does tally for another move tommorow. However move is showing as a stp On live rail record for tommorow. Another one. However 125 group does need its other power car 43159 though. Well let's awaiting events tomorrow. However check live rail record as early morning progressing.
A great film Paul. You certainly get a nice selection of locos turning up at Kiddy these days.Keeps you on your toes .
Thanks Colin, have to be on my toes to look over the footbridge at Kidderminster!!!! Got another 2 HST power cars today.
Loved the last part with the 37 motoring, that was worth seeing
It is good to see for class 43 at Kidderminster and love your video
Thanks Andrew, I see you've filmed a couple of the XC ones, they are the only HSTs I see working service trains - but not very often though.
5:25 plus it’s very rare for the colas rail 37 to be on the seven valley railway
Yes, I can also remember a Colas 47 many years ago.
@@SharposWorld back as far as 2001
43044 looks amazing
Yes, and it was apparently on a low loader yesterday evening for movement to GCR base.
Yes it does!
And I’ve captured it at Rowley Regis and the third powercar is in its 1986 intercity livery

@@SharposWorld I remember going to airshows and some p******s would stand at the fence on steps... sod anyone else!
Been a lot of interesting coming and going over the last couple of days. What will they be doing with these? Just storing them there?

Yes, very exciting to get moves like this round this way. Have to see what happens in coming weeks/months.
Just storage for time being.
And I’ve been told that these hsts are gonna be stored here for a few days and then they will go elsewhere

Saw a photo of that one loaded on a transporter at Kidderminster this evening, that didn't take long.

Paul great filming at Kiddy, some selfish people on the bridge with you.
Thanks Mike. They're alright most of the time, it was a bit distant when it first appeared. It would only be me filming something that far away!!!!
I saw that on the cameras on rail cam
The cameras can be very interesting, and useful.
@@SharposWorld yep
just think of the money the SVR are getting just for them to sit there for now
43044 was on a low loader ready to be taken away, as seen on Railcam this evening
Seen it in Stourbridge at 6 45 this morning on the way to work looked very good
