Another thing to consider is if the archangel drops Olive-Up or Upgrapes. It seems to be different from seed to seed but they will always drop one or the other. At higher levels, Olive-Ups start dropping 2-4 at a time and is much faster to level your character than JUST the XP from the boss alone. Plus you can use them to level up your other companions if you so choose. Once that's done, you can swap to a different archangel that drops Upgrapes to quickly 5-star, well, whatever you want.
I personally use the cutely named "Felix Special" with a Fungoh and Kuneko. Glass Camo + Custom Starter: Paint Swipe and let wind Kuneko go off with 3 pre-emptive strike (6 if you're farming Morgante for infinite stamina)
ALSO, I forgot to mention that you get olive ups aka rare candy equivalents for the humans every time you kill the angel, making this even faster for level up!
Slight correction: certain ones give Olive-Up!, whereas others give Upgrapes. It will depend on who you are fighting (at least for me) Olive-Up!: Morgante, Alice, Babelith, Mourningstar Upgrape: Lamento Mori, Nowhere Monarch, Heckahedron, Robin Goodfellow, Mammon
@@SonicEdge7 yea I meant the one I was fighting specifically hahahhaa thanks this is actually good info for peeps looking to 5 star mons over gain human xp
@@GymLeaderEd ...wait, you ARE getting Olive-Up! from Nowhere Monarch, whereas I was getting Upgrape...either my memory is bad (perfectly valid) or loot is randomized/seeded for each person/save file...
@@GymLeaderEd interesting...I only noticed recently when I was farming Morgante for the glide/stamina boost (still needs testing) that I was getting 3 per run. I'll double check the others in my game, but I think I was getting only one per. There's just so many layers that the seeding seems to determine for this game!
oh yea, a solution for the khepri situation of air walls is to use a galagor with the same set-up, since astral is effective against wind walls and is slower than khepri (the slower part is important as going first would kinda get rid of the point of removing the air walls)
@@GymLeaderEd ik, but for those who still want to use a fire khepri there would be a speed tie unless one of the moves on the astral/ electric/ ice khephri have a passive speed buff from one of the moves.
Did a write-up on the subreddit on the scrap and other items you get from the Archangel rematches, but may be going back for more conclusive results (in terms of scrap, specifically for pulp and metal, but could also record exp). People also like to bring up Orb Fusions, but despite giving 5 fused material per fight, they have the exact same issue as the other fusion battles (i.e. accidentally kill a bootleg, gotta find them, etc.)
This is great also not sure if you’ve gotten your board up to I believe level 6 which at that point orb fusions start appearing which is like a mix of the arche angels and rouge fusions and gives 5 fused materials per defeat. Not particularly faster but is an interesting way for people who don’t mind wandering the map and taking on the random rouge fusions
Just a correction, you dont nuke bootlegs in fusions, at least from what ive seen. I got a bootleg while I was farming, and it took 5 headshots while at basically 1 health and didnt de-fuse. I think they are coded to not die turn 0
Honestly, I found so many op combos there is really no need to respec your stats as there are strategies that require melee atk others range atk others melee Def etc. I think it is better to keep your character the way it is and switch between monsters only, so between strategies. To change the character every time can become annoying at some point really.
I've run into a snag w/ this farm that seems to be seed related. When I face against the mall boss in particular, my main character's "random starter" will never trigger and my partner's triggers exactly 5 times. Then the boss will smack me and the present will give me a rng dmg debuff. This has happened 6 times in a row without fail. If this happens to you, use the same method on another angel.
Came back to add another comment. If you start a battle w/ two Picksies that have 7 Random Starter and one Treasure Dig, you can dig up Fusion Materials off the angels as long as they are a higher level than you. It seems to be seed based, as I have a 100% chance of digging one off of Morgante every fight. After that, switch to the nukes to win the fight and collect your spoils. May have to go to each angel to find your Fusion Material dig sight.
So an interesting note on Morgante farming that I have noticed using this setup, she seems to limit the number of random starters that can go off to 3 TOTAL. Across both Kephris. All I have ever gotten is 3 before the battle starts, although after turn 0 they seem to function normally. I haven't seen anything online about it or anything in patch notes, but it is something fairly important that I feel like should be noted. could I be getting horrifically unlucky? I honestly doubt it. I run 7 random starters with +20% trigger chance on each Kephri. I think they just limited it to prevent cheese against Morgante.
Its a seed thing. I was fighting Poppetox to get him to max level and in every fight all my starters proc'd and my beast had a 12% chance to use smack when proc-ing raise arms, which also had custom starter, and it would not only proc but hit the same effigy every rematch.
Hey man, I see you have symbols on the map for rogue fusions - how do I get that? It's such a PITA to find them for the board... thanks, and I really like your guides, helped me a ton!
I might have played this to much already, but it is good. I'm probably getting sloppy with my tactic building. I'm only paying so much attention to it yet or I did notive what works, but aren't doing anything like Penny Deadfull or that one that tried to get a high dodge rate, plus dodge damage.
new leaf is the move you want to use to get rid of all enemy buffs. It's unavoidable too so no matter how much dodge is buffed, it will hit. Or you can use Galactic Beatdown which has 90 power and also always hits
Really my only complaint about the game is getting only 1 fusion shard from every fight. It's just such a boring grind and made most of the store completely useless since I was only saving for the starter cassettes for the dex.
Cassette Beasts is on fire. if they ever decide to make a sequel I would buy it.
Same man it's so fun and I'm surprised not many people are playing it
well apparently they making more content for the game so thats a plus
I think they are making a dlc dlc not a dlc for your characters skin
Seriously the RPG style of Pokémon with more in depth logic of Digimon🔥🔥🔥🔥
