I may not keep it that way, either, but lately my Sunday afternoon has been my play day, trying different materials for the Mercantile and the new What's in my closet! And whatever I see on the internet.
Take care of you, Pat. As much as I love several of the current projects I can't do them all. My goal at present is to finish current WIP before starting something new. Trying real hard to stick to my promise to myself.

Thanks for the tour. Yes, I'm inspired. So happy to hear you say that you are not sure if you can make two blocks a week for the Mercantile Sampler. Thought I was slacking. I love that quilt. Maybe I will join you doing a block a week. At the moment I'm stuck in snowflake land making an Oh My Stars in blues, silver and white and doing the applique blocks for the Breakfast Club. I'm sewing as fast as I can.
I have similar bowls like that, but meant to use for pet food and water when traveling. 😊
Your tours are sew inspiring… it’s my goal to have quilts hanging in my home someday! It seems to make for a cozy, welcoming atmosphere ❤ However, at this stage in my sewing / quilting life I’m concentrating on making quilts for all my kids and grandkids… that’s 3 king quilts and 13 lap quilts by Christmas 2024 🎉 GO ME 🤩

The stripey heart quilt is from your Sweet Dreams QAL. We did the throw as a bonus. Sadly I completed the throw but not the Sweet Dreams quilt! I guess I better get on it since that was from 2022 and I only have 5 blocks left.

Enjoyed the tour of your home. I change out runners, table toppers, placemats and a few small wall hangings. This year I'm working on seasonal quilts that I can hang. I have a few that I have used as shower curtains. Thank you for your inspiration.

Great Tour Pat , your home looks so bright and cheery! I see you don't wash your quilts. Is that because you use them primarily for display?? We are usually deep in snow until the end of April (except this year it's almost gone) so changing to red for such a short period seems too much effort. The Green does come out in March which leads to anticipating Spring! 🇨🇦🍁

Loved the tour! Everything is so beautifully decorated. I will need to up my game and make some red and white quilts. I usually hang only one heart wall hanging in my front foyer from a heart pattern by cluckclucksew. We are usually deep in winter here till March, so snowmen decor stay out longer :)!
Loved, loved seeing the sunshine streaming into your home from the front door. Apparently we only had 17 hours of sunshine in the month of January - or so the newspaper article said. Thankful for your morning videos - and the bright fabrics that pull us through these winter months.

Cupid box fabric is super nice! Love how you decorate with your quilts. Sadly I can't do that cause ladders & I just don't haw & gee very well. Such a nice visit to the Sloan Zone. I’m not a big fan of hearts as such, but I love your red and white. It makes me tired just thinking about changing out the decor every couple of months! Just putting up Christmas decorations is a chore, so hubby does it. Maybe when I have so many quilts I don’t have a place or future home for them, I will have to consider it. I had an original design I made years ago custom quilted and finally got the binding sewn down. I guess I should put a sleeve on it and put it on the wall….

I wondered if you fold your quilts in a special way. Recently saw some videos about folding quilts on the bias to avoid permanent creases. Wondered what your advise might be.
Also if you lightly wax your sting it will stay on your screw where you position it better.
Pat. Did you test the red fabric for bleeding on white
No owls for me…we were brought up to believe they are bad luck. Still sticks with me today…ugh!
