You are so cute! I don't have a "track" to stay on. I'm retired, and I don't have any time scrunches at the moment. So, I "go with the flow" of each day. Today, I am pulling out basting threads from a quilt I quilted yesterday. It's been sitting around for months, all basted and ready to go. It's getting done! Have a great day!

Hi again. We have about 16 inches or more of snow in northern Illinois! Mountains of snow piled all over town! Windchill factors as well. Icy conditions in parking lots,... the houses look like gingerbread cottages, overflowing with frosting and icicles. 😊

I want to make one for my sister who does canning also. I’ll be making all the contents of the jars in reds, since she buys 5 bushels of tomatoes to can in jars.

Coming from the Capital region of NY state, we get a lot of major snow storms, at least we used to get more but lately not as much. It is beautiful when new, but gets pretty yucky after a few days. It’s so beautiful when on the trees, especially when you see a male cardinal on the trees!

We don’t get much snow but every 10 to 15 yrs. Anyone else can keep the snow. We went down 26 degrees. Too cold and work to take care our pipes. But done already.
We’re frozen and snowy here too! Next week will be better🤷♀️

I have that same thread holder that I purchased about 15 - 20 years ago when I was a dress maker. Love it, it’s all that you say it is.
We get tons of snow every 10 years or so and this is that year. We do get snow every year but not like this.

I haven't started the canning jars yet. When I saw the one with candy, I knew I wanted to do one like that! I ordered fabric for it since I didn't have any. It pretty much all came in yesterday, so I hope to start very soon! I loved seeing what everyone else is doing.

Pat has excellent friends at Aurifil. That 6 drawer box of all their embroidery floss is $1800 all on wooden spools. I stick to DMC and Anchor.
I not doing the Canning Jars right now, however, the parade showed some adorable jars quilts. I do like the smaller wall hanging size.

Thank you for the inspiration. Since the 1st I have completed 6 quilt backs, 5 bindings and 1 mini cross stitch pillow. All while working on a queen size Christmas log cabin, little wishes and a stash buster. ❤❤❤

Your 10th Anniversary Block looks great on your door! Good job setting up your Temperature Chart threads. The little January house is so cute. Love how you fussy cut the gnome and mushroom house! We've still got snow on the ground in KS. Today we're finally back into double digits--it's 16 degrees just after 9am. I love looking at the snow when it's fresh, but not so much when it melts and the yard (and dogs) get all muddy!

The canning jars are so cute! I love that you know yourself so well, that hey, giving the temperature chart cross stitch a try, have it organized and plan to do it, but realize sometimes we get derailed on projects. Good luck!
NJ finally got snow Monday evening and it's still here, because of the cold temps (18* currently). I love it! My hubby bought me a Koala table years ago, it's really nice. My sewing room is a mess, I am not good at all with organizing. It's also, pretty chilly in there as it's on a slab & we our heating the house with our woodstove. I haven't started the canning jars yet, but am looking forward to it.
It’s more snow than we got on Monday, but I’m still taking it to put the snow fabric in my temperature quilt.
I'm machine quilting mine now. Can't wait to hang in my kitchen.

I’m in southwestern Ontario Canada, we have lots of snow. I’m so done with it but unfortunately we still have a few months to go

No snow in my area of Texas, me and cold weather are not friends 🥶 nope nope and nope.
I’m in a part of Ohio where we didn’t get a whole lot. I think you have a tad bit more. Weather love/hate relationship. Very cold we do have lol!

I just went through a bunch of today labeled orphan blocks and in it was a zip lock bag of about 20-30 of these “jar” blocks. They were given to me already made. I have no idea what to do with them.
