    Last coin is a vam 1h struck with satin proof dies.
    I have an obsession with looking for matte and satin proof struck 1921s peace dollars. So far I have 3 in my collection.

    It was the classical Roman "U" which is a "V". Very good video, ya know your stuff. Tell the story how fast they where made

      @@CoinHELPu Anthony De'Francisci was an Italian immigrant. Most Italian and Roman art have "U" spelled as a "V." The "V" is a nod to Italian/Roman art as well as for Victory.

    You are so smart, it amazes me the detailed information you know on coins! I like the peace dollar a lot and I have a couple that I got from you. I am still stuck on the 90% silver quarters and dimes, and roll hunting on my own for silver or anything that’s collectible. There’s so much to learn But I love it! Wish I had more money to spend because I sure would, LOL 😂 Thanks for all your help, Daniel!

    Great video! The Peace dollar looks like they are very hard to grade. Like you said just keep looking at a lot of coins and you will get the hang of it eventually. Maybe. Lol

    Nice video thank you. I don't have 1921 but I do have the 1928 and it looks good lots of luster but a slight weak strike I'm guessing that's normal on the 1928

      @@CoinHELPu I prefer MS, but I know that those get expensive at that grade. I don't mind toning just as longs as it's not that black toning that looks like it has dirt on it.

    Great Video, I enjoy these type of videos that are informative. What about grading of the types that are not high relief such as 1922-28 & 34-35. I do have some peace dollars and always look forward to info. regarding their grading.

    On the reverse side the Spear is past the end part on a high relief the spear is not pass the end because it’s shorter

    You can find some that the strike is so leak "In God we Trust" is very faint

    do you have a showe on rotated reverse ive beencollecting coins for the last 2 years now it took me about ayear to figure out machine doubling mint dubing ive got alot of good MD i do a lot of coin roll hunting an ive got some really nice erros but i just dont get the rotated ones please and thank you

    Can a coin collector do the acid test to find out if it's real silver, or fake, or; and will it hurt the value of the real silver?

      You don't acid test any coin

      Weigh them and carefully do a specific gravity test.

    The "V" in TRVST on a Peace dollar is the way it is in Latin. The Romans had no "U" . Yhe "V" made the sound a "U" makes.
