Definitely my favorite American coin. I've picked them up in many conditions over years whenever I could. I got a couple that are certified but my favorite one is one I picked up years ago. It's an oddity. The obverse is completely golden brown and the reverse has full silver luster with a nice even patina. It literally looks like two different coins from front to back. Great video!
The 1921 Peace dollar is one of my favorite coins. I own a 1921 and 1928. I'm looking to get a 1934-S. My 1921 is graded PCGS 62. It's great that your 1921 has a CAC sticker. I like how you mentioned the matte/satin proofs from 1921-1922. Some experimental pieces were discovered at the Baker estate. Baker was the US Mint director during the Peace dollar's run.
i love those PEACE DOLLARS, buying a 1921 this FRIDAY and then a 1928 before Christmas, trying to get a hole set, THANK YOU FOR SHARING AND HAPPY HUNTING MY FRIEND
The Pittman Act was completed in 1928 when the mint rolled out its 323,000 silver dollar. ( there abouts) Having fulfilled their design they ceased production of any further Peace Dollars until 1934. And then in 1935 the mints produced the last, for circulation, silver dollar the United States has made.
My great great grandfather started coin collecting and it’s been passed down every since then. I’ve got literally thousands of silver dollars as well as pre and post colonial coins. Indian head Pennie’s and nickels. Liberty nickels. Oh the list goes on. I’ve got about six 1921 peace dollars and about 40 1922. Now here’s my problem. I’ve got 4 1964 silver dollars that are struck exactly the same as the 1921,22 and 23 peace dollars but I can’t find anything in them.
Great video brother stopped at my local bank with three letters from your state sounds like a stop by Chicken Shack anyways without giving out all the details they have a coin machine I brought my coins to the machine looked in the trash can I went diving I reached into the trash can and pulled up enough coins to fill a red solo cup they were dirty they were nasty but I got a 1927 Mercury dime got some pesos got some crowns got some sixpence and still wound up with $15 American what are Hall I talked to the girls at the bank they have my number they call me when they have anything strange you have to get to know and be friendly with your tellers Great Channel brother how many times are we allowed to enter your contest just to be safe I only enter one time

Cuanto cuuesta la moneda 1921
Y la moneda 1922 cuanto cuesta
I have one 1922
your 1921 has a good strike on both sides with clean surfaces.
The 1921 peace dollar was to symbolize the end of World War I, not World War II I made a mistake on the video
We all make mistakes man

You meant to state the end of WWI not WWII.

I've got a 24 that looks almost as good as that slabbed 21
Mind you, it isn't high relief, but the luster is just gorgeous.
